Episode 5 of Heated Rivalry, titled "I'll Believe in Anything" sees Shane and Ilya find their way back to each other. Plus, Shane figures out who he is. Oh also Scott makes a huge life-changing decision. It's a lot of feelings and even on re-watch, we're still in awe of how good this hour is. Episode 4 of Heated Rivalry, titled "Rose" gave us the iconic club scene to the tune of t.A.T.u's "All the Things She Said." It also starts us on a journey of yearning, messing up, and meeting the iconic Rose. We break down the episode, why it's important and discuss whether we actually need to see more of them in Season 2. Follow Lizzie & Lyra or follow the podcast on Instagram at: heatedrivalrypodcast

Episode 3 of Heated Rivalry, titled "Hunter" takes a step away from Shane and Ilya to focus on two people who are essential to this journey: Scott and Kip. A controversial take for some, but what we saw between Scott and Kip laid out the groundwork for Shane and Ilya. But it also showed that you can have more than one queer couple on your screen. Who knew? We break down the episode, why it's important and discuss whether we actually need to see more of them in Season 2. "Olympians" really puts into perspective that Ilya has no support, Shane needed more kissing, oh and that these two are invested. And did you see the small smiles and worries?! Basically build up, build up everywhere! And remember, with this review you're getting the POV of someone who's read every book and someone who's read nothing.  Follow Lizzie & Lyra or follow the podcast on Instagram at: heatedrivalrypodcast
