This week, Orchid and Colette finally answer the question they did a whole-ass episode about Tommy Dreamer to avoid: Is Kenny Omega the greatest wrestler of all time? Part three of our deep dive into Kenny Omega's career doubles as our first foray into All Elite Wrestling. Like, all of it. From Pac and Mox and Hangman to Danielson and Vikingo and Ospreay. From singles to tag team to trios. From 2019 to last week. At long last, the great work is complete. With Kenny's case made, we're spinning THE WHEEL and making the deal! This week on The Patron Saints of Sick Sons of Bitches, Orchid and Colette decided to take a break from Kenny Omega, spinning the wheel and making the deal and pushing the premise of the show further than it's ever gone before in examining the career of one Tommy Dreamer. Lots of ECW talk, including his feuds against Sandman, Raven, and New Jack. Lots of talk about his relationship to ECW and other companies whose t-shirts he wore. Lots of talk about the kinds of things Tommy Dreamer would eat, including a story the late Sabu shared on Twitch at Orchid's behest. It's a real dark night of the soul, and then Orchid and Colette ask the tough question: Is Tommy Dreamer the greatest wrestler of all time? Find out! Next week we're wrapping our three-parter on Kenny Omega before going back to the Wheel. Want to put a name on it? Leave us a 5* review on your podcatcher of choice, or support the making of this podcast on ko-fi, and we'll do so: https://ko-fi.com/patronsaints Items Discussed: The demographics of ECW's AudienceTommy Dreamer vs. The Sandman (ECW 8/30/94)Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven (ECW 9/15/95)The Tommy Dreamer/Raven FeudThe strange things Tommy Dreamer occasionally consumes.Other matches, in brief, including bouts against Akira Taue, Jerry Lawler, Rob Van Dam, Stevie Richards, AJ Styles, and a litany of multi-man tags, some terrible, some incredible, most of them watchable.Watch these matches and more on our Tommy Dreamer Patron Syllabus playlist! This week on The Patron Saints of Sick Sons of Bitches, Orchid and Colette go deep into three years of Kenny Omega’s career, his 2016-2019 run as a heavyweight in New Japan Pro Wrestling! Orchid joked that Omega would be a three-parter, and boy was she right! Beginning with the night he took control of the Bullet Club, we explore his reputation as a tournament wrestler, the beauty of his famous four match series against Kazuchika Okada, and the many ways in which the “Bullet Club is fine” angle was not, in fact, fine.  In addition to all of the hot Elite action you could possibly want, Orchid and Colette discuss a major update to the Wheel. Going forward, you can add your favorite wrestler to the wheel via a 5* review on your podcatcher of choice, or by supporting Patron Saints on ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/patronsaints Matches Discussed Kenny Omega & AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & YOSHI-HASHI (NJPW 1/5/16)Kenny Omega vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi (NJPW 2/14/16 & 1/4/19)Kenny Omega vs. Toru Yano (NJPW 7/24/16, 7/25/17, & 8/8/18)Kenny Omega vs. Tetsuya Naito (NJPW 8/13/16)Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada (NJPW 1/4/17, 6/11/17, 8/12/17, & 6/9/18)Kenny Omega vs. Tomohiro Ishii (NJPW 3/12/17)Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho (NJPW 1/4/18)Kenny Omega vs. Cody Rhodes (7/7/18)Kenny Omega vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Kota Ibushi (10/8/18) Watch these matches and more via our Kenny Omega Patron Syllabus playlist! This week, Orchid and Colette get emotional about Sara Del Rey. The once-and-forever Queen of Wrestling changed the landscape for women’s professional wrestling in the United States through her work in SHIMMER, CHIKARA, Ring of Honor, and other independent wrestling promotions before signing to WWE as a trainer in 2012, a position she holds to this day. While her career as an active wrestler was brief, it was magnificent: a 10 year stretch of classics rivaling the very best of her generation, regardless of their gender. But is she the Greatest Wrestler of All Time? Find out! This week, Orchid and Colette discuss the career of deathmatch trailblazer Megumi Kudo! After washing out of the biggest women's wrestling promotion in history, Kudo returned to wrestling to anchor the women's division of Atsushi Onita's FMW, where she became an icon, putting together a resume of classic wrestling matches and unbelievable death match spectacles. Icon or not, the question still stands: Is Megumi Kudo the greatest wrestler of all time? Thanks to Brett aka BAHU for a lot of biographical information on Kudo. https://fmwwrestling.us/Kudo.html https://fmwwrestling.us/Kudo96.html PATRON SAINT: Megumi Kudo Playlist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL0gcYs2LHI&list=PLAPCyqpxZpb8

On this week’s episode, Orchid and Colette dig into the second half of John Cena’s career, finding the face of the WWE in hostile territory against the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar, and more! What’s the most divisive period of Cena’s career? What’s the point of his retirement run? What is Colette’s last name? Is John Cena the greatest wrestler of all time? The answers to those questions are right here on The Patron Saints of Sick Sons of Bitches. Matches discussed: vs. CM Punk (Money In The Bank, 7/17/2011)vs. Rey Mysterio (Raw, 7/25/2011)vs. Brock Lesnar (Extreme Rules 2012, Summerslam 2014)vs. Daniel Bryan (Summerslam, 8/18/2013)vs. AJ Styles (Smackdown, 2/27/2018)vs. Cody Rhodes (Summerslam, 8/3/2025)

In this episode, Orchid and Colette take on a question that has long vexed wrestling fans: Is John Cena the greatest wrestler of all time? Colette is pretty sure the answer is yes, but Orchid could use some convincing. A career as long and storied as Cena's deserves maximum attention, so this is the first of TWO parts, covering 2002 to 2010. Welcome to The Patron Saints of Sick Sons of Bitches! It’s a podcast where Orchid Cugini (Live, Laugh, Ligerbomb) and Colette Arrand (BIG EGG) make convincing (or not-so-convincing) arguments for every wrestler ever’s claim to be the Greatest Wrestler of All Time! In this debut episode, Orchid and Colette explain the premise of the show, their methodologies in determining a wrestler’s greatness, and, most importantly, their very first candidate: Bill Goldberg! Debuting in World Championship Wrestling in September of 1997 as a glowering muscleman who smashed the likes of Hugh Morris, The Barbarian, and Road Block before shrugging off “Mean” Gene Okerlund, Goldberg quickly became a phenomenon, winning the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship before the conclusion of his rookie year, riding a once-in-a-lifetime wave of momentum garnered by his undefeated streak. In this episode, Orchid and Colette dig into this era of Goldberg. What was WCW like before his arrival? What did the debut of AoL 4.0 have to do with his rise? How much of Goldberg’s perceived greatness is a matter of his being booked to dominate and how much of it was actual ability? These questions and more are on the table in part two of a two part exploration of one of the more unique, controversial careers of the past 30 years.
