Former Montana linebacker Adam Boomer (1996-2000) joins DJ & Ty to share memories of his Griz career and his life path since.

Brian Ah Yat had the unenviable task of taking over as the starting quarterback for the Montana Grizzlies after Dave Dickenson led UM to the 1995 Division I-AA national championship. Ah Yat led Montana to 14 straight wins as a sophomore starter in 1996 and had one of the most decorated careers of any Griz quarterback. His son, Keali'i Ah Yat, was a first-team All-Big Sky quarterback for the 2025 Griz and is a senior starter on this year's team. Brian share stories with Ty Hobbs & DJ Colter on the latest episode.

Former Griz Pat Foster and Larry Clarkson join co-hosts DJ Colter & Ty Hobbs on the latest Cussin' & Discussin' presented by the Grizzly Football Players' Association.  Foster was a three-time Sims-Miller Award winner as the top defensive lineman for the Griz and was also the Steve Carlson Award winner as the overall Griz MVP during his All-American senior season in 1987.  Clarkson was a two-time All-American and the Paul Westkamp Award winner in 1986 and 1987 as the top offensive lineman on the Griz.

Justin Gaines was an All American corner back at the University of Montana and a member of the 1995 National Championship team. After graduating, Gaines  coached college football for 13 years at Texas Lutheran, Northern Arizona, Midwestern State, Texas A&M Commerce, Montana State, and the University of North Texas.  He was a relentless recruiter who signed over 150 high school prospects to football scholarships. He also uses his extensive knowledge of all aspects of recruiting along with relationships he has built with numerous college coaches during his career to help get students athletic scholarships. He now runs Coach Gaines Recruiting in Fort Worth, Texas. Former Griz defensive back Calvin Coleman also works for Gaines.

Veteran sports writer George Ferguson, who has reported on Griz football for the Havre Daily News for decades, joins DJ Colter and Ty Hobbs to preview the 2026 Montana Griz season.

Ty Hobbs and DJ Colter of the Grizzly Football Players Association sit down with former Montana defensive back Carl Franks for a wide-ranging conversation about Griz football, coaching, and the lessons learned from a lifetime in the game. Franks played for Montana from 1991-1993 before embarking on a three-decade coaching career across the college football landscape. From his days roaming the secondary at Washington-Grizzly Stadium to the sidelines as a coach and mentor, Franks shares stories, insight, and plenty of football wisdom in this episode of Cussin' & Discussin'.

Joe Glenn helped the Griz resurrect their football program in the early 1980s as a member of Larry Donovan's staff. The 1982 Montana Griz won the school's first Big Sky Conference championship since 1970 and helped lay the foundation for the fundraising that would help build Washington-Grizzly Stadium. But Donovan and his staff were fired ahead of the 1986 season, the year Wash-Griz opened.  Glenn resurrected his career at Northern Colorado, where he was the head coach from 1989 until 1999, leading the Bears to the Division II national championship in consecutive seasons. In 2000, he became the head coach of the Montana Grizzlies. He went 39-6 in his three seasons in Missoula, leading UM to three straight Big Sky titles, consecutive national championship games and the 2001 Division I-AA national championship. That national title 25 years ago is the last claimed by Montana.  Glenn, 77, now lives in Eagle, Idaho with his wife Michelle. His son Casey is a coach at Bishop Kelley High in Boise. Glenn is suffering from Alzheimers & dementia but his stories are still rich. Joe, Michelle and Casey joined the Cussin' & Discussin' podcast to share memories from the last 50 years.

Chase Reynolds went from 8-man record-setter to Griz football record-setter as one of the most prolific running backs in University of Montana history. He joins former teammate Ty Hobbs & former Griz DT DJ Colter to rehash his favorite memories from his time with the Grizzlies.
