The Seed of Abraham | Genesis and the Message of the Bible #2
2026/10/18
This sermon explores the theological significance of Abraham by tracing the biblical narrative from Genesis to the New Testament, identifying Jesus Christ as the singular fulfillment of God's covenant promises. The message argues that the story of the Bible is a progressive revelation centered on Jesus, who is the 'seed' of Abraham through whom all nations are blessed. It distinguishes between the natural and spiritual fulfillments of the Abrahamic covenant, emphasizing that true rest, righteousness, and inheritance are found only in Christ. The preacher presents this not merely as historical curiosity but as the sole basis for salvation, urging listeners to recognize that God's grace initiates redemption and that the promised blessing is exclusively available through faith in Jesus.

Luke 8 14-15 Parable of the Soils, pt 4
2026/10/18
In this 4th installment in the explanation Jesus gives concerning the Seed and the Soils, we get to see a close proximation (though it still misses the mark) of what salvation looks like, and a good example of what True Salvation looks like. There are lots of people attending churches today (on a somewhat regular basis) whose lives are filled with so many worldly-oriented things and so many energy consuming focuses that are not growing their faith or giving them opportunities to minister their faith to their neighbors. They are able to talk a faith that sounds good on the surface. But they are not engaged in things that draw their hearts closer to Jesus and therefore are not helping them to mature in their faith. Their lives are unable to bear good fruit, because they are being choked out by the cares of the world and their love of the world (1 John 2:15-17; James 4:4; Matthew 6:24, etc.). John the Baptist said that there is a fruit of repentance that follows the act of faith in God (Mt 3:8). Jesus told His disciples that those He has chosen would bear fruit and that fruit would remain (John 15:16). Paul, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit proclaimed that the fruit of the Spirit is very obvious when compared to the deeds of the flesh (Galatians 5:22-25), and that it would show up in how they live their daily lives (Colossians 1:10) and would be able to be seen as excellent (Philippians 1:9-11). The key difference is not in the because of some different soil. All four are in the same area where the seed is scattered - it all looks pretty much the same. The key is in the hearer's heart response to the movement and call of the Holy Spirit on their lives (Ro 1:16-32).

Mustard Seed Faith
2026/10/17
This sermon explores the parable of the mustard seed to illustrate the profound potential of the gospel when faithfully sown. The message emphasizes that God uses small, seemingly insignificant things to bring about great results, encouraging believers to trust in His power rather than their own limitations. It highlights the necessity of dying to self for the seed to germinate and grow, reflecting the transformative work of grace in a believer's life. The preacher presents the church as a shelter where souls find refuge and nourishment, much like birds nesting in the branches of the grown tree. Ultimately, the sermon calls for a personal response to the gospel, urging listeners to allow the seed of the Word to take root and produce eternal fruit.
Unbelieving Jews are NOT Abraham's Seed and Have NO RIGHT to the Land

...and Zionist Christians cannot justify their support for the modern Talmudic state of Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people by coldly saying, "God gave Israel that land." The New Testament makes it clear that the promises to Abraham apply to his spiritual seed, NOT to his fleshly descendants
Five “ALWAYS” of The Revived (Part 3)
2026/10/16
Five "ALWAYS" of The Revived (Part 3) Bridge Builders, Seed Planters, and Servants of the King This message explores five occurrences of the word "always" in 2 Corinthians, revealing the characteristics of a life walking in revival, governed by the grace of God, and devoted to making Jesus known. Beginning with Proverbs 22:17–21, the message emphasizes the importance of inclining our ears to God's wisdom, applying our hearts to His truth, and keeping His Word upon our lips so that our trust in Him continually grows. God teaches us not merely to increase our knowledge, but to establish our confidence in His promises and equip us to give His truth away to others. The five always reveal that God always leads us in triumph in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14); we are always carrying the dying of Jesus so His life may be manifested through us (4:10–11); we are always confident in His promises (5:6); we are always rejoicing, even in sorrow (6:10); and His grace supplies our sufficiency for every good work (9:8). These truths demonstrate that genuine revival isn't determined by favorable circumstances, human approval, or material abundance, but by a continual dependence upon Jesus and faithful obedience to His Word. Through illustrations of bridges, apple seeds, Gideon's clay vessels, and Paul and Silas rejoicing in prison, the message reminds believers that they are bridge builders, seed planters, and servants of the King. God uses ordinary, fragile people to carry His extraordinary message, planting gospel truth that produces fruit in His appointed seasons. And regardless of hardship, opposition, or misunderstanding, His people are called to serve with purity, kindness, sincere
