The Weaponization of Polls
2026/10/20
We are exactly two weeks from Election Day. Early voting is underway in many states yet every day leading up to the elections we are hearing news reports and broadcast stories referring to the polls. "The polls say…," "polling indicates…," "if the election were held today the polls show…," "the latest polls show…," "today's presidential approval rating is…" and the list goes on and on. Are you aware that polls are given in such a way to influence voters? Are you aware that polls are often given to discourage donors from giving? With the legacy media being in the driver's seat to so many of these poll-related stories, are they attempting to correct past mistakes or are they part of an effort to discourage conservatives? Joining Jim to discuss the weaponization of polls was Craig DeRoche. Craig is president and CEO of Family Policy Alliance and former speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives. He is a frequent speaker and author on faith, culture, public policy, and civic engagement. Callers helped wrap up the program with their thoughts and questions on this important subject. The Power of Prayer
2026/10/18
VaultAI Summary: This sermon explores the biblical account of Joshua commanding the sun and moon to stand still, arguing that this event was a literal miracle demonstrating God's sovereignty and the efficacy of prayer. The speaker contrasts the common tendency to view such passages as allegorical or natural phenomena with the historical reality of divine intervention, emphasizing that God's power is sufficient to fulfill His promises. By connecting Joshua's specific petition to New Testament teachings on faith, the message encourages believers to move beyond generic requests and instead pray with boldness, specificity, and confidence in God's ability to act. The sermon highlights examples from church history and Scripture to illustrate how fervent, believing prayer can result in supernatural answers, urging the congregation to view prayer not as a last resort but as the primary weapon in the Christian life.
Foundations Crumbling "Conference"
2026/10/18
Psalm 11 is significant because it addresses the challenge of remaining faithful to God when society's moral and spiritual foundations appear to be collapsing. David faces advice to flee from danger, as the wicked prepare their weapons and attack the upright, prompting the question, "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:3). Rather than surrendering to fear, David declares his trust in the LORD, who reigns from His holy throne, sees everything, examines the hearts of humanity, and will ultimately judge the wicked while upholding righteousness. In the context of "Foundations Crumbling," this psalm reminds believers that although earthly institutions, moral standards, and human security may fail, God's throne and righteous character remain unshaken. Christians are therefore called to stand firm in faith, resist the temptation to despair, and trust in God's sovereign justice and enduring righteousness, knowing that the LORD loves the righteous and remains their ultimate refuge even in times of widespread corruption and uncertainty.

Providence and Its Consolations
2026/10/18
When biblically understood, providence is a secret weapon that wields contentment and joy in the bosom of the Christian. In this lesson, Pastor Josh lays out the contours of providence and then unpacks its consolations. Acts 17:28; Rom 11:32–36; Phi 2:12, 13; Prov 16:33; Gen 45:5; Jas 1:2–4; Heb 10:36; Eccl 7:16–18; Ps 37:1, 2; Eccl. 3:10–13
Devo 118: Battle For The Mind
2026/10/14
The devotional centers on the spiritual battle for the mind, emphasizing that true transformation begins with renewing one's thoughts through divine truth rather than human reasoning. It highlights Peter's moment of divine revelation—acknowledging Jesus as the Christ—followed by his immediate failure to grasp God's plan, revealing how even believers can be influenced by satanic deception disguised as human concern. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 10, the message identifies strongholds—deeply rooted false beliefs formed through past wounds—as the primary obstacles to spiritual freedom, which must be dismantled through the divinely empowered weapons of Scripture. The sermon further stresses the need to correct distorted views of God by cultivating an intimate knowledge of His names and character, enabling trust and obedience. Ultimately, it calls believers to actively take captive every thought that opposes God's truth, using Scripture not as rote memorization but as living, transformative truth, leading to lasting victory in the mind and life.
If
2026/10/13
The sermon centers on the conditional promise found in 2 Chronicles 7, arguing that the spiritual and national future of America rests on the word "if." It challenges the church to move from a posture of convenience to one of sacrifice, emphasizing that God's power to heal the land is contingent upon the people's willingness to humble themselves, pray, and seek His face. The message contrasts the current state of spiritual apathy and societal decay with the biblical mandate for intercession, citing Deuteronomy 28 to illustrate the consequences of turning away from God. Through personal anecdotes and historical examples of revival, the speaker urges believers to take up their role as intercessors, asserting that prayer is the primary weapon against spiritual opposition. The tone is urgent and pastoral, calling for a renewed commitment to the Holy Spirit and a collective cry for divine intervention in the lives of the next generation.
Jonathan Edwards Sermons: More sermons introduced and analyzed.
2026/10/12
Welcome back to our ongoing exploration of the Hickman edition of Jonathan Edwards, where today we pull back the curtain on the experiential core of the great theologian's revival ministry. Moving beyond his terrifying warning sermons, we synthesize the positive architecture of Edwards's thought—from the direct, soul-transforming beauty of *A Divine and Supernatural Light* and the supreme satisfaction found in *God the Best Portion of the Christian*, to the urgent, lifelong labor of *Pressing Into the Kingdom of God*. Far from teaching human preparationism, Edwards demonstrates how God intentionally uses the awakened sinner's legal strivings, lingering hypocrisies, and accumulated guilt to thoroughly shatter all self-righteousness, stripping the soul of its innate moral pride until, thoroughly humbled in the valley of trouble, it drops every weapon of self-reliance and relies solely upon sovereign, unmerited grace.

Secret Societies: The Deep State Behind the Deep State
2026/10/06
Alex Newman is an award-winning international freelance journalist, author, researcher, educator and consultant. He is senior editor for The New American. He is founder and CEO of Liberty Sentinel and a national syndicator of radio and TV programs including Behind the Deep State which airs on WVCY Television (Milwaukee, WI) and VCY.tv. He's authored or co-authored numerous articles and books including Indoctrinating Our Children to Death and Woke and Weaponized: How Karl Marx Won the Battle for American Education and How We Can Win it Back. Earlier today Jim went into a search engine and asked the question, "What is the Deep State?" The response directed him to Wikipedia which stated, "The term deep state refers to an unauthorized, hidden network of power that operates within a government independently of its elected leaders to pursue its own goals." It went on to say as to its core, "It describes unelected state officials, bureaucrats, or military and intelligence personnel who supposedly influence or control government policy behind the scenes. In yet another place it refers to the deep state as being a political conspiracy theory that "posits the existence of a deep state within the US federal government, primarily composed of members of the FBI and CIA. Proponents argue that a clandestine network of conspirators within the leadership of the financial and industrial sectors exercise power alongside or within the elected government."

Suit Up in God's Armour
2026/10/04
This sermon explores the spiritual warfare described in Ephesians 6, emphasizing that believers are engaged in a battle against principalities and powers rather than flesh and blood. The central message is that Christians must rely on God's strength and put on the full armor of God to stand firm against the devil's wiles. The preacher highlights that prayer is not merely a secret weapon but the battlefield itself, urging the congregation to view public prayer meetings as the front line of this conflict. The tone is both convicting and encouraging, calling believers to recognize the severity of the enemy while trusting in the superior protection provided by God's armor. The sermon concludes with a call to persevere in prayer and holiness, ensuring that when the dust settles, the believer remains standing.
