This sermon explores Zechariah 12 as a cohesive narrative that moves from creation to physical and spiritual redemption. It identifies the chapter's central events as the Battle of Armageddon, where God sovereignly defeats the nations gathered against Jerusalem, fulfilling the curse of Deuteronomy 28 upon the enemies. The message emphasizes that this physical victory serves as the catalyst for Israel's spiritual awakening, leading to the pouring out of the Spirit and the national repentance described in verse 10. By connecting the opening reference to creation with the closing promise of salvation, the teaching asserts that God's plan for Israel was established before time began, ensuring that His covenant people will ultimately recognize and mourn for the Messiah they pierced.

[Bible Survey-168] Jeremiah: The Eight Stages of the Campaign of Armageddon - Jer. 50:3 by Dr. John Brumett Date of Service: Aug 30 2026

This sermon analyzes the sixth victory of the Lamb in Revelation 20, focusing on the temporary release and subsequent defeat of Satan. The preacher explains that Satan's binding during the Church Age allows the gospel to spread, but his final release leads to a deceptive gathering of nations for battle against Christ. By connecting this passage to Ezekiel and other parts of Revelation, the text clarifies that this event is the same as the Battle of Armageddon, where God intervenes with fire to destroy the wicked. The message emphasizes that Satan's ultimate ruin in the lake of fire fulfills the promise of Genesis 3:15, ensuring believers' eternal reign with Christ. The sermon concludes with an urgent call to repentance and faith before Christ returns in judgment.
