How Do We Love People Who Are Different From Us? | Acts 10:1-48 | Kevin Queen
2026/09/14
It’s easy to divide people into categories, decide who belongs and keep those who are different from us at a distance. But through Acts 10, God challenges us to see people differently. Acts 10 tells the story of Cornelius, a Gentile seeking God, and Peter, a Jewish follower of Jesus learning that God’s table is bigger than he imagined. Peter thought he knew who was clean and unclean, who belonged and who didn’t. But God shows him that the gospel is bigger than the categories he had created. What begins with distance ends with fellowship, as the Holy Spirit falls on people Peter never expected to welcome. Sometimes God isn’t asking us to change what we believe. He’s asking us to change how we love. Nobody is too far gone. Nobody is beyond the reach of redemption. Nobody is disqualified from grace.
What Do I Do When My Story Feels Stuck? | Acts 9:32-43 | James Savage
2026/09/07
Every object has a story. And so does every life. The question is: what is your life pointing people toward? It’s possible to believe in Jesus and still remain spiritually stationary. But Jesus didn’t simply call us to believe in Him. He called us to follow Him. Peter didn’t have a perfect story. He struggled to follow Jesus, made mistakes and had plenty of reasons to believe his past disqualified him. But Jesus wasn’t finished writing his story. In Acts 9:32-43, Peter is used by God to perform miracles and lead people to Jesus. His story had been redeemed, and God was now using it to impact the stories of other people around him. Following Jesus means becoming more like Jesus. You can’t follow Jesus and stand still. You may not know every step ahead, but you can take the next one. Jesus can redeem even the most broken parts of your story and use your life to point others to Him. You just have to let Him write the next chapter… – – – – – – – – – – What stood out to you from this message? Let us know in the comments. What If We Weren’t Meant to Do Life Alone? | Acts 9:19-31 | Kevin Queen
2026/08/31
Do you ever feel like you’re trying to figure out life by yourself? Our culture celebrates independence. We’re told to self-define, build our own lives and handle things ourselves. But what if the pressure to do everything alone is actually causing us to drift? As Christians, we may have a relationship with Christ, but following Jesus was never meant to be something we do alone.  In Acts 9:19-31, Saul has a life-changing encounter with Jesus and immediately begins telling others about Him. But even with his new faith and passion for Christ, Saul still needs other people in his life; to support, encourage and assist. Following Jesus is personal, but it was never meant to be private. You need people who will help you grow. People who will show up when life gets hard. People who believe in what God is doing in you. People who tell you the truth and pray with you. What kind of person do you need most in your life right now? – – – – – – – –  If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who needs to know they don’t have to do life alone. Am I Too Far Gone for God? | Acts 9:1-19 | Kevin Queen
2026/08/25
Have you ever wondered if someone is simply too far gone to change? Maybe it’s someone you love. Maybe it’s you. Maybe your past is so broken, your choices have caused so much damage or you’ve wandered so far from God that you wonder if there’s any way back. In Acts 9, we meet Saul, a man who wasn’t just skeptical of Jesus. He was actively persecuting and killing His followers. Then, on the road to Damascus, Saul has a collision with the risen Jesus that changes everything. The man who once wanted to destroy the church becomes one of the most influential instruments in building the church, a man God uses to help change the world.Acts 9 reminds us that nobody is too far gone for God’s grace. You can’t out-sin the cross. You can’t outrun the grace of God. But Saul’s story also reminds us that transformation isn’t meant to happen alone. What would change in your life if you really believed God’s grace could reach you? And who might God be asking you to move toward with courage and compassion?– – – – – – –  What stood out to you from this message? Share your biggest takeaway in the comments. Why Do I Still Feel Like I Don’t Belong? | Acts 8:26-40 | Kevin Queen
2026/08/18
Do you ever wonder ig God sees you? Do you wonder whether you matter? Maybe you look successful on the outside but still carry the feeling that you’re an outsider, that you lack purpose or that something in your past disqualifies you from being fully known and loved. In Acts 8:26-40, we read about a traveller who was searching for God. He had wealth, influence and success, but he was still asking a deeper question: “Do I belong?” Then Philip enters the story and unveils something incredible: the man thought he was seeking God, but God was actually seeking him. Pastor Kevin Queen walks through this powerful story and reminds us that Jesus came for the one. God sees the people others overlook, pursues the people who feel far away and gives us a place in His family. What has happened to you is not the end of your story. And if you’ve already been found by Jesus, the question becomes: Are you willing to take the next step and join Him in finding the one?– – – – – – –  What stood out to you from this message? What Are You Willing to Give Your Life For? | Acts 8:1-8 | Kevin Queen
2026/08/03
In Acts 8:1-8, the early church faces unimaginable hardship. Stephen has been killed, persecution is intensifying and followers of Jesus are being scattered from their homes. Life is hard, and Scripture doesn’t pretend otherwise. But what looks like the end of the story becomes the beginning of something God uses to move the gospel forward. The believers who were scattered didn’t abandon their mission. Wherever they went, they shared the good news of Jesus. Philip, an ordinary follower of Jesus, went to Samaria and God worked through his obedience in extraordinary ways. That same invitation is available to us today. It’s easy to look at someone else’s life, compare our calling to theirs and imagine that life would be easier if our circumstances were different. But as Kevin reminds us, as long as we’re fantasizing about somebody else’s life, we’re not living our own. God has placed you where you are for a purpose. He can move around you, but He would rather move through you. Where might God be calling you to live with greater purpose, courage and urgency today?
How Do You Persevere When Life Gets Tough? | Acts 6-7 | Dave Stone
2026/07/28
You can go to church, pray, serve and do all the right things, but is it possible to still miss the heart of following Jesus? In Acts 6-7, Stephen shows us what a life fully surrendered to Jesus looks like. Facing rejection, opposition and ultimately death, Stephen remained rooted in God’s Word, connected to God’s heart and trusting in God’s timing. In this message, Dave Stone reminds us that religious activity is no substitute for a real relationship with Jesus. Following Christ isn’t simply about what we do for Him. It’s about knowing Him, trusting Him and allowing that relationship to shape how we live, especially when life gets difficult. Stephen’s story challenges us to consider whether our faith has become a routine or whether we’re truly walking with Jesus. Whatever adversity or opposition you’re facing, God isn’t finished. Keep going, trust His timing and finish the race strong.
Can God Use Someone Like Me? | Acts 6:1-7 | Mike Kelsey
2026/07/27
What if the biggest threat to the early church wasn’t persecution… but people? In Acts 6, the church is exploding with growth, yet behind the scenes tensions are rising, needs are being overlooked and conflict threatens to derail everything. What happens next reveals something surprising about how God works through imperfect people to accomplish His perfect mission. This message reminds us that healthy churches aren’t problem-free. They’re filled with ordinary people who trust Jesus, serve one another and faithfully use the gifts God has given them. If you’ve ever wondered whether your life or your gifts really matter in God’s Kingdom, this passage offers a powerful answer. The apostles refused to let conflict become the focus. They addressed the problem without abandoning the mission. Today, we’re faced with the same challenge. Will we allow difficulties to divide us, or will we remain committed to what matters most: helping people find and follow Jesus? Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, under-qualified or unsure where you fit, discover how God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.Join the conversation! How Do We Take the Next Brave Step? | Acts 5:12-42 | Laurel Bunker
2026/07/14
What does it mean to be brave? What if courage isn’t the absence of fear, but trusting God enough to take the next step anyway? In week 12 of our journey through the Book of Acts, Laurel Bunker walks through Acts 5:12-42, where the apostles refused to stop sharing the hope of Jesus despite opposition, threats and imprisonment. Their boldness wasn’t rooted in their own strength. It came from the Holy Spirit working through them. Many of us are waiting until we feel ready before taking a step of faith. But what if bravery looks less like fearless confidence and more like faithful obedience? Whether it’s asking for help, pursuing healing, extending forgiveness or sharing your faith, God often calls us to take one small step and trust Him with the rest. How Do We Break Free From Secret Sin? | Acts 4:32-5:11 | James Savage
2026/07/08
When was the last time you underestimated something? As we learn fromweek 11 of our series on the book of Acts, living a life of hypocrisy is more dangerous than we realize. The good news is that God is also much bigger and closer than we realize, and He holds the keys to freedom! Pastor James Savage unpacks the story of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 4:32-5:11. While many assume this story is about money or generosity, it’s actually about something far more personal: hypocrisy, hidden sin and the exhausting pressure to live a double life.  Have you ever felt the pressure to look like you have everything together, even when you don’t? Hypocrisy keeps us trapped in shame, but the Gospel reminds us that confession leads to freedom – because His grace is always greater than our sin. If you’ve ever struggled to be honest about what you’re carrying, this message is a reminder that you don’t have to keep pretending. The Gospel isn’t for perfect people; it’s for people willing to step into the light. Let us know in the comments what encouraged or challenged you most from this message. Are You Praying for Comfort or Courage? | Acts 4:20-31 | Kevin Queen
2026/06/29
When you hang around people long enough, you learn what they care about.  When Peter and John faced opposition in Acts 4, they didn’t ask God to remove their problems. They prayed for something even greater: boldness. Instead of choosing comfort, they asked for courage to keep following Jesus no matter the cost. What do your prayers reveal about what you truly want? In week 10 of our series through the book of Acts, Pastor Kevin Queen explores how prayer transforms us before it changes our circumstances. As we remember God’s sovereignty, pray His Word and trust His presence, we discover the courage to live boldly even in seasons of fear, uncertainty and suffering. Prayer is the most powerful tool on the planet, but what if the greatest prayer you could pray isn’t, “God, make my life easier,” but, “God, make me more like Jesus”? We’d love to hear from you! How has prayer changed your life, or what are you trusting God for today? Share in the comments below. f this message encouraged you, share it with someone who needs hope today. Want to go deeper? How Do I Move Past My Biggest Mistakes? | Acts 4:1-22 | Daran Hodges
2026/06/24
Have you ever wished you could go back and rewrite a chapter of your life? In Acts 4, Peter finds himself standing before the same religious leaders connected to one of his greatest failures. Just weeks earlier, he denied even knowing Jesus. Now, under pressure once again, Peter responds with courage and conviction. What changed? This message explores how God redeems our failures, transforms our hearts and empowers us to live differently. Peter’s story reminds us that our worst moments do not have to define our future. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, God can bring restoration where there was regret and boldness where there was fear. Where have past mistakes continued to shape your present? What tends to come out of you when you’re under pressure? How might God be inviting you to trust Him with a place of failure or regret? —————————— If this message encouraged you:• Share your takeaway in the comments.• Send this message to someone who needs hope today.• Join us as we continue our study through Acts at crosspoint.tv/acts.• Find a Cross Point campus near you at crosspoint.tv/locations.
How Do We Break Free From What Holds Us Back? | Acts 3:11-19 | Dwan Hill
2026/06/15
Have you ever felt stuck in the same cycle, making the same mistakes, or carrying the same struggles no matter how hard you try to change? In week eight of our Acts series, Here for Good, Pastor Dwan Hill explores Peter’s message following the miraculous healing of a man who had never walked before. While the crowd focused on the miracle, Peter pointed them to something even deeper: the power of Jesus to heal what’s broken beneath the surface. Acts 3 reminds us that God created the world good, but sin has distorted what He intended. Left on our own, we often find ourselves trapped in cycles of striving, shame, and self-reliance. But through Jesus, there is another way. Peter’s invitation to “repent and turn to God” isn’t about punishment or guilt. It’s an invitation to freedom, refreshing, healing, and restoration. Whether you’re carrying hidden struggles, searching for a fresh start, or wondering if real change is possible, this message offers hope that God can meet you exactly where you are and begin transforming your life from the inside out. How Can God Use Someone Like Me?  | Acts 3:1-10 | Dustin Aagaard
2026/06/10
In week six of our journey through Acts, we encounter a moment where Peter and John meet a man who had spent his entire life waiting for someone to help him. What follows is a powerful reminder that God often works through ordinary people who are willing to make themselves available. Many of us focus on what we lack: time, resources, influence, confidence, or experience. But Acts 3:1-10 challenges us to ask a different question. What if God wants to use what we already have? What if availability matters more than ability? As we study the healing of the man at the temple gate, we’ll discover how the Holy Spirit empowers ordinary followers of Jesus to make an extraordinary impact. This message will encourage you to trust God with what He’s placed in your hands and take your next step of faith. If you’ve ever wondered whether your life matters, whether God can use your testimony, or whether you can make a difference in the lives of others, this message is for you!  –––––––––– What stood out to you from this message? Why Does Following Jesus Have to Change My Life? | Acts 2:37-47 | Kevin Queen
2026/06/03
Peter didn’t know how people would respond to his first sermon, but thanks to the Holy Spirit, it made quite an impact! In Acts 2:37-47, he finishes preaching the first sermon in church history, and the response is IMMEDIATE. Thousands of people are convicted, repent, and put their trust in Jesus. But this moment isn’t just about a crowd making a decision. It’s about what happens when the Holy Spirit transforms a person’s heart and begins building a new kind of community. In week six of our study through Acts, Pastor Kevin Queen explores how the Holy Spirit works through the gospel to bring conviction, lead people to repentance, and draw them into a life of following Jesus. Peter’s message reminds us that the power of the gospel has never depended on human eloquence or perfect words. The Holy Spirit is still changing lives today. If you’ve ever wondered whether God is at work in your life, or what it looks like to respond when He speaks, this message is for you. What stood out to you most from this message?
