Description
Love God, love people, and change the world. We believe the life and lessons of Jesus aren’t just good advice, but are Good News for us here and now. As a church, we are all about following Jesus and know there’s no end to that journey—we’re more about becoming than arriving. We are committed to becoming a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, multiplying movement of Christ followers, equipping and empowering our kids and students to not only be the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.

Step Out in Prayer | Shawn Williams
2026/10/25
It is easy to make prayer our emergency response instead of our daily rhythm. And yet, prayer was never meant to be our desperate last resort. It was meant to be our confident first response. That is the invitation—to become people who seek Him first. Prayer, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, is how we get from sleeping to stepping. This week, we’re invited to seek God together in prayer and align our hearts with His before we move forward. Prayer is not the last step before giving up. It is the first step into the presence and power of God.
Step Out in Faith | Duane Calvin
2026/10/18
Too often, we reduce Jesus to a comforting figure we admire from a distance—a helper in hard times, a source of inspiration, a piece of our lives instead of the center of them. But Jesus still asks the same question today: “Who do you say that I am?” When we declare who Jesus is, He transforms us and gives us a new name. And it is from that rooted identity, which comes only from faith in Christ, that we can step out in confident faith. Faith grows when we anchor our lives not in circumstances but in who Jesus is. This week challenges us to deepen our trust in Jesus and believe that He is leading us somewhere worth following.
Step Out in Sacrificial Obedience | Shawn Williams
2026/10/11
Whether we are accustomed to comfort, stability, and control—or we long for those things—the word sacrifice can feel like a radical concept meant only for more faithful and faith-filled people. In Luke 5, we watch Peter choose to obey Jesus when it does not make sense. Real obedience often comes with a cost and requires us to release control, comfort, or security. It invites us to stop managing our relationship with God from a distance of false control and instead ask the piercing question: What am I actually holding on to that is keeping me from truly following Him? This week invites us to consider what stepping out might require of us and to trust that what we place in God’s hands will be used for His purposes.
Step Out into the Miracle | Shawn Williams
2026/10/04
There are moments in life where change shows up uninvited and suddenly we’re navigating an uncertainty we never could have predicted. But sometimes faith means willingly stepping into the unknown because Jesus is there. That’s where we find Peter in Matthew 14. Peter isn’t just asking Jesus to see a miracle. He’s asking to participate in one. And when fear overtook him, Jesus still reached out His hand. This week, we’re invited to name what is holding us back from taking the first step or the next step toward trusting Jesus with more of our lives.
“Why is This So Hard?” | Shawn Williams
2026/09/27
It’s hard to move forward in relationships without first healing old wounds. Strong relationships are not the result of avoiding conflict. They are the result of mastering the art of repair. Every meaningful relationship will eventually experience tension, disappointment, and conflict because humans are involved. But when we address issues honestly, prioritize emotional safety, and remain committed to healing the rupture, even difficult moments can be used to deepen trust and strengthen our connection.
“Why Doesn’t Love Last?” | Duane Calvin
2026/09/20
We often confuse infatuation with love. We expect another person to complete us. The problem is that our culture often teaches us to think of love primarily as a feeling—a rush of emotion, attraction, or chemistry. Because of that, we believe love is supposed to be easy, but biblical love was never meant to be effortless. Love is not merely something we feel. It is something we practice. This week, grow in loving as God loves us—with patience, kindness, humility, and perseverance—so you can build relationships that withstand challenges and grow stronger over time.
“Why Do I Keep Ending Up Here?” | Shawn Williams
2026/09/13
Sometimes the common denominator in our relational struggles is not everyone else—it's us. But God doesn't call us to ignore our wounds; He invites us to bring them into His presence so He can redeem them. David prayed a courageous prayer in Psalm 139: "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts." He understood that true transformation begins with honest self-examination before God.
This week, do the hard work of self-examination, which leads to freedom, healing, and the ability to build secure, healthy relationships marked by the love of Christ.
Duane Calvin | More than Hearers
2026/09/06
Spiritual growth doesn't happen merely by accumulating Biblical or spiritual knowledge; it happens as we trust God enough to put His truth into practice. This week, we’ll explore why God's Word is not simply meant to be heard—it is meant to be lived. One of the clearest places our obedience to God's Word is revealed is in how we relate to others. As we reflect on our last series, Willow Welcomes, the question is, "How has God been inviting me to respond?" The measure of a healthy disciple is not how much they hear but how faithfully they obey.
Willow Welcomes | Dr. Charlie Dates
2026/08/30
Paul lived a life of joy—even in prison. How? Dr. Charlie Dates shares that joy is consequential, not circumstantial. Joy is the consequence of Christ being proclaimed, and when we share the Good news and have a relationship with Jesus, joy should follow. There is power in the name of God. You can have real joy when you see your circumstances as catalysts, not constraints, and enemies as encouragers, not impediments. Find the joy that comes in proclaiming the truth of Jesus.
Willow Welcomes | Megan Fate Erickson
2026/08/23
When you learn to live out of abundance—out of a cup pointed to God, overflowing—you start living out of what you have already received. You do not need to run on empty trying to earn approval or love. Megan Fate Erickson teaches that what fills you will be what flows from you. Do not be stuck trying to earn the world's favor; seek the love that only God can provide.
Willow Welcomes | Hosanna Wong
2026/08/16
What names do you allow the world to define you by? Unworthy? Unwanted? Unlovable? These are not the names that God gives us. The world will try to label us by our failures, wounds, or our past, but God sees us differently. He replaces the false names with new names—true names that speak of who we are in Him. Worthy. Chosen. Loved by God. In this message, Hosanna Wong shares why we don’t need to accept what the world says about us, but embrace who God calls us to be.
Willow Welcomes | Jud Wilhite
2026/08/09
What do we do when we find ourselves in the wilderness—the in-between season where we’re not where we once were, but not yet where we are going? Whether it’s a difficult decision, a job, parenting, or just waiting on God for clarity, the future can feel uncertain and hard to navigate. But the wilderness is not wasted time; it can be formative and strengthening for our faith. In this message, Jud Wilhite shares that God uses the wilderness seasons of our lives to shape us, deepen our trust, and prepare us for what comes next.
“The World We Long For” | Shawn Williams
2026/08/02
Life has a way of reminding us that things don’t always end the way we hoped. And yet, Scripture tells a different kind of story. The Bible doesn’t end with disappointment—it ends with renewal. In Revelation, we are given a breathtaking vision: a new heaven and a new earth, where God brings everything together and makes all things new. This is not God abandoning the world, but restoring it completely. The brokenness we feel, the endings we grieve, the longings that go unmet—all of it finds its answer here. God’s ultimate plan is not to scrap creation, but to redeem it. Richard Rohr has said, “Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.” So when life feels unfinished or disappointing, we can remember: this is not the end of the story.
“Jesus Sets the World Right” | Shawn Williams
2026/07/26
God will not allow evil to have the final word. This is why Christians are people of Hope. It is not a fantasy or a work of science fiction; it is the reality of Jesus' life and God’s plan. He will return, and for those who have been oppressed, overlooked, or wounded, this is a promise of vindication. For those who wonder if righteousness is worth it, Revelation answers with a resounding yes. Even when it feels like we are losing battles here and now, the final outcome is not in question. When Jesus returns, nothing will be able to stand against Him. The story is not over. Jesus is coming back. And when He does, He will make all things right.
“What Looks So Good Can Leave Us So Empty” | Megan Erickson
2026/07/19
We chase what we believe will finally make us feel whole—success, comfort, recognition, security—only to find that the satisfaction fades faster than we expected. Revelation gives this longing a name: Babylon. Babylon represents a world built on wealth, pleasure, and status. None of these things are evil on their own. But when they become more than they were intended to be, they begin to pull us away from God. Deep down, we long for something eternal—for a Person, not a possession. Remember that you were created for Jesus, and nothing short of Him will ever truly satisfy.
