Description

The Bible states, "...for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water..." (Isaiah 35:6-7). Throughout the world, people are crying out as they thirst for spiritual nourishment. The only way this spiritual need can be fulfilled is through the hearing of the nourishing Word of God.

The Crown of Thorns - Easter 2026
2026/04/05
This Easter Sunday message, “The Crown of Thorns,” continues the journey that began on Good Friday with “Take Up Thy Cross.” While Friday reminds us of the suffering of Christ, Easter declares the victory that followed. The crown of thorns placed upon Jesus in mockery became a symbol of the King who conquered sin, death, and the grave. Reflecting on the crucifixion and the resurrection, this sermon explores how the suffering Savior is also the risen King. What the world meant for shame, God turned into glory. Through the crown of thorns, we see both the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the triumph of His resurrection. Because of the resurrection, the story does not end at the cross. The One who wore the crown of thorns now reigns in victory, offering new life and hope to all who believe.
Take Up Thy Cross - Good Friday 2026
2026/04/03
This Good Friday message, “Take Up Thy Cross,” reflects on the call of Jesus for every believer to follow Him in surrender, sacrifice, and faithful obedience. As we remember the suffering and sacrifice of Christ on Calvary, this sermon challenges us to examine our own commitment to discipleship and to embrace the cross that Christ has called us to bear. Through Scripture and reflection on the events of Good Friday, this message reminds us that the cross is not only a symbol of Christ’s sacrifice, but also the path of true discipleship. When we deny ourselves and follow Him, we discover the power of redemption, the depth of God’s love, and the hope that leads us from the cross to the resurrection. Join us as we remember the price that was paid for our salvation and renew our commitment to take up our cross and follow Christ.

Infinite Dimensions of the Love of Christ
2025/04/18
The love of Jesus Christ is boundless, unmeasurable, and transcends all human understanding. The beautiful hymn "The Love of God" reminds us that Christ's love is "greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell." Just as the hymn paints a picture of God's love, we reflect on the unimaginable vastness of His love and how it reaches into every corner of our lives.
Joseph, the Dreamer
2025/01/01
God is the dream-giver. A truly godly vision is not something that originates in the thoughts of men, but it is given to us by God through divine revelation. A God-given dream can help you to discover your divine purpose in life.
Go Tell It on the Mountain
2024/12/24
When people hear the Good News that Jesus Christ was born into this world to save sinners, they often respond in different ways. What is your response? Do you believe Jesus wants to save you from your sins? Do you worship Him or reject Him? If you have heard the Gospel and accepted Jesus as your Savior, God wants you to share the Good News with others.
For Granted or Grateful?
2024/11/28
Are God's blessings to be taken for granted or are we grateful for each of them. To take something for granted is to expect something or someone to always be available to us without a response of gratitude or recognition for that person or thing. It is a failure to show appreciation. The Word of God encourages all believers to have a heart of gratitude and thankfulness.
The Last Will & Testament of Jesus Christ
2024/03/31
A last will and testament is a legal document detailing how a person's assets and properties will be distributed after death. The will must identify the "testator" and the beneficiaries, their qualifications, and a description of what is being bequested to each of them. The shedding of Christ's blood did three things: it paid God for the sinner's debt, purged the guilt from the sinner's conscience, and enabled the redeemed heirs to possess their inheritance.
Good Friday: Overcoming Man's Loneliness
2024/03/29

The Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ
2023/12/24
Jesus Christ is, always has been, and forever will be the divine Son of God, but He was made flesh and dwelt among us.
Thanksgiving Greetings - 2023
2023/11/23
In at least six of Paul's letters, he expressed thanks for The Church of God and Its members. In his letter to the Romans, he thanked God for their faith (1:8) and Priscilla and Aquila, who had risked their lives to save him (16:3, 4). He gave thanks in prayer for the faith and love of the Ephesians (1:15-16), the Colossians (1:3, 4), the Thessalonicans (2 Thess. 1:3, 4, 13), and Philemon (1:4-5). Paul continually thanked God for the Philippians and their steadfast fellowship in the Gospel (1:3-5). Even so, we, the General Headquarters staff, thank God for you, The Church of God. We are thankful for truth, holiness, the Advice to Members, our mutual nourishment, our kindred relationships, and your shepherding care.
This Changes Everything
2023/04/07
Throughout the Bible, the dry, barren desert represents the curse of God, but the beautiful, fruitful gardens represent the blessings of God. Today, we look at three gardens in the Bible and how what happened in each changed everything: the Garden of Eden, the Garden at the Tomb, and the Garden in the New Jerusalem.
