Top Down Perspective 22/10/26
2026/10/23
Nathan is back this week while Sean still is abroad somewhere with spotty internet. That's OK though because he wrote down what he was playing so Paul guesses what he will say about those games. Tune in next week to see if we're right! Nathan has been doing some racing games like Nitro battle Racing and Synthwave Dream '85 while still going through 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and being taken by the demo for Beat, Heart, Beat. Claire is loving Star Wars: Galactic Racing and Ace Combat 8 so far, gets some time with Final Fantasy Resonance and plays a cool incremental platformer game called IGTAP: Incremental Game That's Also A Platformer. She's also started Castlevania: Belmont's Curse and talks with Paul about it, who has already 100% completed it. The big news this week is that beloved Albertan studio, and favorite of the cast, Bioware is being shut-down. Also, XBOX is going to be way too expensive possibly in the future?  TDP is listener funded. Like what you hear? Want to support the show and get ad-free episodes? Sean is abroad again so Nathan comes back to fill his shoes! And boy, does he ever! Lots of weird tech issues in this one, but when we DO get to talk, Nathan has been attempting to enjoy more of Control Resonant, still stuck in his Waifu Shop and has started 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim as his night time game. Claire has playing a bunch of old style games compiled in CorgiSpace, cleaning leaves in Leaf It Alone and working her way through Resident Evil CODE: Veronica. Paul is trying to finish End of Abyss and checking out Star Wars: Galactic Racer on the side. In news, Tim Schaefer is trying to get achievements, RedLynx (the studio behind the Trials games) is shut down and Epic Games wants to make Disney game with AI primarily. TDP is listener funded.
