We also got a report from DNC member Wendy Davis on the Spring DNC meeting in New Orleans and the 2026 Carter-Lewis Dinner in Atlanta. Finally Wendy and David discussed the defeat of Viktor Orbán, the ongoing situation in Iran and the out of nowhere press statement by Melania Trump.

Former Executive Director of the South Carolina  Democratic Party, Lachlan McIntosh joined us to discuss politics in the Palmetto State. In the first segment Wendy and David discussed the firings the week of both Attorney General Pam Bondi and Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George. Also, the highly inconsistent message on the war with Iran from Donald Trump. In the fial podcast only segment the team discussed the tourism future of Stone Mountain Park in Georgia.

Milan Singh a Fellow @ The Argument joined us to discuss both the new online magazine The Argument and his recent piece regarding the SAVE Act and Voter ID proposals. Additionally, Wendy and David discussed the idea of ground troops being sent to the Middle East and Burt Jones' attacks on "Jackson" with recent direct mail pieces sent to Republican voters.

Georgia State Senator Nan Orrock joined us to honor the Life & Legacy of Former Georgia State Rep. Buddy Childers 

In the first segment Andre Stafford joined us to recap the Georgia 14 Special Election and preview the Georgia Governor's race. In the second segment Chris Leonchik of Uncrewed's State Legislative Election Watch to discuss legislative elections from across the nation and previewed Tuesday's Illinois' primary. In the final segment Wendy & David concluded the show with the ongoing military action against Iran.

Georgia State House candidate Scott Soracco joined us to discuss his campaign. Additionally, Wendy & David recepped the primaries in Texas, Arkansas, and North Carolina. The team also dicussed some of the highlights of candidate qualifying in Georgia. They ended the show with predictions of the special election for Congress in Georgia's 14th District.

Elie Honig joined us to discuss his new book: When You Come at the King: Inside DOJ's Pursuit of the President, From Nixon to Trump – A Legal History of Special Counsel Cases  Additionally, Wendy and David discussed the declaration  of war and early military actions against Iran. The show closed with the latest developments with the Epstein Files, the State of the Union address, and the reports that wholesale inflation numbers rose more than projected.

Wendy and David discussed the Supreme Court's 6-3 ruling striking down the Trump tariffs, took a detailed look a the possible changes to the Presidential primary calendar and finally discussed the visit by Donald Trump to Rome Georgia and how that might impact the special election for the Congress in Georgia's 14th District.

In addition to Tom sharing information about a myriad of recent polls across America Tim, Wendy, & David discussed the impacts of the SAVE Act on both American Democracy and partisan electoral dynamics. Finally, the they dsicussed the future of the Gordie Howe Bridge that is scheduded to open in June of 2026.

Sports historian Clayton Trutor joined us to discuss if NHL hockey in Atlanta for a third time would be a charm.  Additionally, Tim and David discussed Rick Jackson's entry into the Georgia Governor's race and conducted a buy/sell/hold on his primary and general election chances. In the final segment of the show Tim and David discussed Trump's endorsement in the Georgia 14 Special Election and the surprise retirement of Barry Loudermilk.

In addition to our interview with retired General Shawn Harris discussing his Congressional special election on March 10th in Northwest Georgia Maria Banjo joined us to tell us the events that unfolded at the Fulton County elections last week. Tim, Wendy, and David ended the show with a discussion of the shocking special election result in Forth Worth, Texas on January 31st and we that may preview for elections for the remainer of 2026.

Author Brian Reisinger joined us to discuss Acre Trader and other issues facing family farmers in America. Also, Tim, Wendy, David discussed the second tragic killing in Minnesota at the handed of ICE in the first month of 2026. Finally, we discussed the map of projected control of the US Senate according to public polls.

Dr. Elizabeth Suhay of American University joined us to discuss her new book: Debating the American Dream: How Explanations for Inequality Polarize Politics. Additionally, Tim Shiflett led off the show with an Outrage of the Week about how Donald Trump might steal or cancel the Midterm elections with particular focus on Jay Bookman's column in the Georgia Recorder. We finished the show with a discussion of the Texas US Senate primary on the Democratic side.

Steve joined us to discuss Governor's races around the country and more. Also, Tim, Wendy and David discussed the killing of Renee Good by ICE, and the threats on Greenland by Donald Trump.
