Global Mission Sunday
2026/11/02
God's mission is bigger than us, and He's inviting us to be part of it. On our second annual Global Missions Sunday, we hear stories from those who have stepped outside their comfort zones to serve others, share the Gospel, and participate in what God is already doing around the world. Through a conversation with our Global Missions leaders, we'll explore how missions change our perspective, grow our faith, and remind us that we're all called to play a part. Whether you go, pray, send, or support, there's a place for you in God's mission. Are you choosing comfort or choosing calling?
Q&A Sunday

You had questions, and Paul had answers! Q&A Sunday gave our church family the opportunity to ask honest questions and hear thoughtful, biblical responses. Listen here to catch the full conversation!
Knowing The Why Wouldn't Change The What | Worshipping When It Hurts
2026/10/19
Worship is easy when life is good. But how do we worship when life hurts? In Job 2, we see a man who experiences unimaginable suffering yet continues to hold on to his integrity and faith in God. Through Job’s story and personal experiences with grief and loss, we’re reminded that we may never understand why certain things happen, but we can still trust in who God is. God’s promise isn’t a life free from struggle. The ultimate good He offers is found in Jesus Christ and the eternal hope, joy, peace, and love we have through Him. Even when we don’t understand His plan, we can keep our eyes on Jesus and continue to worship through the good and the bad. Scripture: Job 2:1–10; Romans 8:28 Whether you’re walking through a difficult season or supporting someone who is, you don’t have to walk through it alone. We lean on one another, look to the Lord, and hold on to the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
Does Being A Good Person Get Us Into Heaven?
2026/10/12
Does being a good person get us into heaven? Many people believe that living a good life is enough, but what does the Bible say? In this message, we look at Romans 3 and the difference between our righteousness and God's righteousness. No matter how hard we try, our good works cannot meet God's perfect standard. But through faith in Jesus Christ, we can receive the righteousness God freely offers through His grace. As we prepare our hearts for communion, we are reminded that our salvation isn't something we earn by being good. It's a gift made possible through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. Our hope isn't in our own goodness, but in the goodness, grace, and forgiveness of Christ. Key Scripture: Romans 3:19–26
New Testament Worship | Worship Together
2026/10/05
Worship is more than a Sunday service or a set of songs. It is a posture of the heart that recognizes Jesus as King and calls us to live our lives in surrender to Him. In this message, we explore what it means to be a New Testament church; a community of people who love Jesus, love one another, and love those who are far from God. The New Testament repeatedly calls us to “love one another,” but that love is more than a feeling. It is lived out through serving, forgiving, encouraging, welcoming, supporting, and caring for one another. Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey. As we worship together, we are called to live out our faith in community and consider how we are connected to our church family.
Our Faith Is Personal, But Not Private
2026/09/28
What does it look like for our worship together on Sunday to become a life we live together every day? In this message from our Worship Together series, we explore what it means to follow Jesus together; not just by attending church, but by becoming part of the community God designed His church to be. Looking at Romans 12:3–8, we see how each person has a unique role and gift, and how we need one another to live out our faith. You'll also hear from people at Cibolo Creek about their experiences in Life Groups, the challenges that initially kept them from joining, and how taking that step created deeper relationships, spiritual growth, accountability, and support. Our faith is personal, but not private. We belong to Christ, and we belong to one another. Follow Jesus Together.
Going to Church vs. Being The Church
2026/09/21
What does it look like to truly be the church? In this message from our Worship Together series, we explore Acts 2 and the early church’s commitment to living life together. A healthy church is more than a Sunday gathering. It’s a community where people are known personally, loved practically, and supported spiritually. Discover why meaningful relationships and smaller circles of connection are essential to caring for one another and following Jesus together.
The Church Jesus Had in Mind
2026/09/13
What comes to mind when you hear the word “church”? For many people, it’s a building, a worship service, or even a denomination. But Jesus had something very different in mind. In this message, we look at what it means for the church to be a community of people with a shared purpose. Rather than spectators and consumers, Jesus calls us to be a family marked by relationships, connection, togetherness, and a common purpose. As we celebrate communion, we’re reminded that it is the death of Jesus that saves us, unites us as brothers and sisters, and gives us a shared purpose: to live with Jesus as our King and make Him known.
God Doesn't Keep Score
2026/09/06
What motivates your worship? In Matthew 6, Jesus warns us not to practice our faith simply to be seen or approved by others. Our worship is meant for an audience of one: God. In this message, we look at the difference between seeking the reward of human approval and experiencing the blessing that comes from living for God’s approval. We’re also reminded that our relationship with God isn’t based on a religious scoreboard. We aren’t saved by our good works or accomplishments, but by grace through faith in Jesus and what He accomplished for us on the cross.
Motives Matter
2026/08/30
Worship is not ultimately about what we do or how we do it. It's about who we're worshiping and why. In Matthew 6:1–18, Jesus warns His followers to be careful not to practice their righteousness for the purpose of being seen by others. Whether we're giving, serving, praying, singing, or reading Scripture, even good and faithful practices can become something different when our desire shifts toward the approval and applause of others. In this message, we explore the motives behind our worship and the question Jesus asks each of us: Why am I doing what I'm doing? Our acts of worship are meant for an audience of One: God Himself.
Drop The Mask | Worship Warnings
2026/08/24
Jesus warns us about the danger of hypocrisy; of becoming more concerned with how others see us than how God sees us. In this message, we look at what it means to stop pretending and come before God with our most honest selves. God isn't looking for actors or pretenders. He wants us as we are: imperfect and sincerely seeking to follow Him. When we worship, we're invited to drop the mask and give God our undivided attention, our honest hearts, and our whole lives. This message from Cibolo Creek Community Church challenges us to examine our hearts and consider whether we're living authentically before God or simply going through the motions.
When Worship Becomes About Us
2026/08/16
What does Jesus really care about when it comes to worship? In Matthew 6:1–18, Jesus warns His followers to be careful about practicing their righteousness for the approval and applause of others. Whether we’re giving, praying, fasting, serving, singing, or living out our faith, the question isn’t simply what we’re doing or how we’re doing it. The deeper question is: Who are we worshiping, and why are we doing it? Our acts of worship are meant to be done for an audience of One. As we begin a new study through Matthew 6, we’ll consider how easily our worship can become about being seen, approved, or applauded by others and how Jesus calls us back to sincere, humble devotion to God.
Who Carried Your Cross?
2026/08/10
The cross is brutal. It’s difficult to look at, difficult to understand, and difficult to sit with. And yet, Jesus gave us communion to bring us back to it, to remember the seriousness of sin and the incredible cost of our salvation. In this message, we look at the crucifixion of Jesus through the lens of the Passover lamb and the significance of the fact that none of His bones were broken. What happened at the cross was not an accident or simply the result of human decisions. Jesus willingly gave His life on our behalf, bearing our sins so that we could be forgiven and reconciled to God. As we come to the communion table, we are reminded of two realities: "our sin is serious, but our salvation is significant." Jesus endured the cross for the joy set before Him—and that joy was the salvation of people like us. "He himself bore our sins in his body there on the cross..." — 1 Peter 2:24 #CiboloCreek #WhoCarriedYourCross #Communion #TheCross #Jesus
Your Treasure Tells The Truth
2026/08/03
What does your money reveal about your heart? In this message from our Worship Is a Way of Life series, we explore what Scripture teaches about worship and finances through Matthew 6, 2 Corinthians 9, and 1 Timothy 6. Jesus reminds us that where our treasure is, our heart will be also. Together, we'll wrestle with three questions every follower of Christ should ask: Is my money fully surrendered to Jesus? How would my life prove it? And what needs to change so every part of my life reflects His lordship? True worship isn't confined to a Sunday service, it's expressed in every area of life, including how we steward what God has entrusted to us.
A Life of Worship Includes Rest
2026/07/26
Can watching the big game, taking a vacation, playing golf, fishing, or simply relaxing actually be worship? In this message from the Worship Is a Way of Life series, Pastor Paul challenges the idea that following Jesus means giving up everything enjoyable. Instead, Scripture reveals that God created us to experience rest, joy, and pleasure as gifts from Him. Through the wisdom of Ecclesiastes, you'll discover how enjoying God's blessings can become an act of worship; provided those good things never replace the priorities of following Christ. Whether you're struggling to find balance between work and rest or wondering how your everyday life can honor God, this message offers practical, biblical wisdom for living with gratitude and keeping Jesus first.
