Shrewd Gratitude
2026/09/07
Today, we begin a new series in the book of Colossians. This letter is about the supremacy of Christ in making us alive and how made-alive-ones are to live. As we look at Paul’s opening words, we’ll get to know the author, his audience, and the heart behind Colossians. Paul shrewdly sets the stage by opening with reassuring gratitude—showing us that we, too, should give thanks to God for the true gospel that’s bearing fruit among us. Audio | Notes | Colossians 1:1-8

Growing Together Amidst Sin
2026/08/03
We continue in our sermon series How We Grow Together. As disciples, all Christians are on a lifelong journey of growing into the likeness of Christ by faith. The Bible’s normal setting for a Christian’s growth is within, rather than apart from, the local church. In this fourth and final sermon of our series we take up the question, “How do we grow together as Christians who are also sinners?” Christians don’t abandon wayward saints; they restore them. Audio | Notes | Galatians 6:1-2
Growing Together Through Suffering
2026/07/27
This morning, we continue in our sermon series How We Grow Together. As disciples, all Christians are on a lifelong journey of growing into the likeness of Christ by faith. The Bible’s normal setting for a Christian’s growth is within, rather than apart from, the local church. In this third part we meet Paul in the midst of affliction. We’ll see that suffering is God’s platform for sharing comfort and realigning hope. Audio | Notes | 2 Corinthians 1: 3-11
Growing Together in Christ
2026/07/19
We continue in our sermon series How We Grow Together. As disciples, all Christians are on a lifelong journey of growing into the likeness of Christ by faith. The Bible’s normal setting for a Christian’s growth is within, rather than apart from, the local church. In this second part we go to the beginning of Paul’s letter to a deeply messed up church. We’ll see that we must strategically ground one another in Christ, because he makes us who we are. Audio | Notes | 1 Corinthians 1:1-9
The Need for Growing Together
2026/07/13
Today we begin a new sermon series, How We Grow Together. As disciples, all Christians are on a lifelong journey of growing into the likeness of Jesus by faith. Remarkably, the Bible’s normal setting for a Christian’s growth is within, rather than apart from, the local church. In this first week we will begin in Hebrews where the author urgently points out the need we have for regular, intentional relationships bent upon our spiritual good. We’ll see that we must help one another hold firm to Christ, lest our hearts harden through sin’s deceit. Audio | Notes | Hebrews 3:12-14
From Woe to Worship
2026/07/06
This morning, we conclude our series in the prophetic book of Micah. Written to call God’s people back to a right relationship with him, Micah’s prophecies both warn about the consequences of sin, and put forward the hope of restoration by grace. In a world broken by sin and heading toward God’s final judgment, how are we to live? Micah 7 teaches that God’s people should weep over the destructiveness of sin, wait with hope for his salvation, and worship him for his astounding mercy, while those who are not yet his people must turn to him before it is too late. Audio | Notes | Micah 7
What the Lord Requires
2026/06/28
We continue our series in the prophetic book of Micah. Written to call God’s people back to a right relationship with him, Micah’s prophecies both warn about the consequences of sin, and put forward the hope of restoration by grace. Micah 6 sets a scene of a courtroom drama where God himself contends with a personified Israel. Through heeding the warnings of God’s final indictment of his people in Micah 6, we learn that God requires our heartfelt walk with him. Audio | Notes | Micah 6

2026/06/15
Today we continue our series in the Gospel of Luke, one of four eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ words and works. In them we learn of his life, death, and resurrection to rescue his people from among the neighborhoods of Seattle and the nations of the world. Today, Jesus asks his enemies a question about the identity of the Christ from Psalm 110. Paying Taxes to Caesar
2026/05/31
We continue our series in the Gospel of Luke, one of four eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ words and works. In them we learn of his life, death, and resurrection to rescue his people from among the neighborhoods of Seattle and the nations of the world. Today, Jesus’ enemies try to trap him yet again. This time they use politics, but as usual he turns it around on them. Caesar and God are not automatic rivals. We are to give Caesar what is Caesar’s, and God what is God’s. Audio | Notes | Luke 20:19-26
