As Jesus begins his ministry, people are astonished by what they hear and see. What does his authoritative Word mean for us today?

Pastor Dave’s sermon, “Word Delight: Joy When Life Isn't Fair” focuses on vv. 161–176. Yet through it all, he continues to delight in God's Word, finding in it wisdom, comfort, hope, and lasting joy. The psalm concludes with a humble prayer: “I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant,” a reminder that our ultimate hope is not in our faithfulness to God, but in His faithful pursuit of us.
