There is a growing hate against Israel and its people, but our Jewish Messiah also can grow our love for His kinsmen and all humanity, including enemies and ethnicities from every tribe. A biblical perspective and hope for hate and future grace to all.

This sermon examines the root causes of discontentment, identifying covetousness and the 'if only' mentality as primary enemies of a contented life. It distinguishes between fleeting happiness, which depends on circumstances, and supernatural joy, which is a fruit of the Spirit grounded in faith. The message encourages believers to examine their hearts for inordinate desires and to shift their focus from what they lack to the imperishable inheritance promised in Christ. By meditating on the character of God and the reality of their true home in heaven, believers are called to cultivate an inward assurance that produces peace and thanksgiving regardless of external trials. The ultimate goal is not happiness but holiness, achieved through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit who enables believers to rejoice and give thanks in all circumstances.

This sermon explores the theological foundation for rejoicing in suffering by examining 1 Peter 4:12-19, framing affliction as a sovereign act of God designed to test and purify faith. The message identifies five anchors for the soul, emphasizing that persecution is not an anomaly but a normal consequence of living as distinct exiles in a pagan world. It highlights the believer's union with Christ, asserting that sharing in His sufferings deepens intimacy with Him and guarantees the presence of the Holy Spirit. The preacher encourages the audience to view trials as evidence of genuine salvation and an opportunity to glorify God, rather than reasons for shame or surprise. Ultimately, the sermon calls for a posture of confident endurance, trusting that Christ has overcome death and that eternal glory outweighs temporary pain.
