The free state of Florida just got a little freer. Yesterday, its government took a significant step towards protecting Floridians from the combined predations of sharia-supremacists and their radical leftist partners in the Red-Green axis – and, thereby, creating a model for doing the same across America. This initiative sprung from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ designation last year of the Muslim Brotherhood and its most aggressive U.S. front group, the Council on American Islamic Relations, as terrorist organizations.  At its founding meeting in 1993 – which was wiretapped by the FBI – CAIR was established to be a public relations and fundraising group for the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestinian jihadist franchise known as Hamas.  The process of rolling up such terrorist networks must now proceed apace in Florida and, with similar action by other states and, hopefully, at the federal level, across the USA. The Democratic Party has a problem. The mascot for its 2026 campaigns has become a Marxist-jihadist named Hasan Piker. His virulently anti-American social media posts appeal to young people indoctrinated to hate their country. So, Michigan Senate candidate Abdulrahman el-Sayed and his Texas counterpart, James Talarico, have welcomed Piker’s support. But, not all Democrats favor the destruction of our country and  some – like patriotic Republicans and independents – actually take offense at its trashing by Piker, who prefers al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Iran and Hamas.  What’s a party to do?  Democrats’ cynical, and fraudulent, answer is pretend that they don’t actually know Piker. As el-Sayed put it, he’s just “some Twitch streamer.”  Yet tomorrow, the Democrat student group at University of Texas Austin is paying Piker $100,000 to revile America on its campus. That’s not “free speech.” That’s a paid, and odious, spokesman. This is Frank Gaffney.

Yesterday, a plot to blow up a British base the U.S. military uses against Iran was intercepted and its would-be perpetrators are in custody. It seems likely they’re operatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who stealthily entered the country by boat.   Interestingly, UK authorities detained another man last week in connection with the illegal entry into Britain from the sea by jihadists and their criminal activities. He’s Tommy Robinson and his country’s foremost watchman on the wall. Tommy has been serially punished for relentlessly exposing illegal immigration, Muslim rape gangs and their decades-long toleration by the British government. We’re lucky the attack on the air base was foiled. The fact that Britain now has millions of sharia-supremacists engaged in subversion and electoral jihad, however, makes utterly unacceptable official efforts to silence those like Tommy demanding corrective action.  This is Frank Gaffney.

Yesterday, President Trump lavishly welcomed Chinese dictator Xi Jinping to the White House. Xi professed mutual friendship and committed to peaceable bilateral relations.  Unfortunately, the man our President is entertaining is not a friend. He is a psychopath with the blood of some 1.5 million Americans on his hands – more than all our other enemies combined.  Worse yet, as our Committee on the Present Danger: China recently recalled, the Chinese Communist Party has even worse in mind. Around 2003, a general named Chi Haotien, who was then his country’s Defense Minister, made a secret speech to senior CCP cadre. In it, he described their leadership’s plan is to use biological weapons to depopulate the United States so it can be colonized by China.  Think COVID 2.0. With “friends” like Xi Jinping, we don’t need any other enemies.   This is Frank Gaffney.

Last night, a federal judge ordered President Trump to restore the White House press passes of CNN, MSNow and Politico, saying his denying them the opportunity to cover him was  likely unconstitutional.  Mr. Trump will surely appeal that ruling, given his utter contempt for the “fake news” they in particular practice.  Amidst this furor, the President stood up for press freedom in response to collusive and coercive efforts by CNN, MsNow and putatively conservative Fox News to black out “pool” coverage of his official activities. Mr. Trump gave that responsibility instead, at least temporarily, to Real America’s Voice. I’ve been proud to have a show called “Securing America” on that network for six years. But never more than today as it stepped up to perform that important public service and, in so doing, emerged as the full – but far more reliable – peer of what passes for America’s “mainstream media.” This is Frank Gaffney.

President Trump has lately been warning Americans about the resurgent threat posed by Communists determined to destroy our country. His focus has been on so-called “Democratic Socialists of America,” an unabashed Communist organization now being embraced by Democrats as their allies, ground game and even candidates.  This week, however, Mr. Trump will be spending a lot of time with the world’s top Communist, Chinese dictator Xi Jinping. If anything, his admonitions about the toxic nature and menace posed by Marxists apply in spades to his guest.  Indeed, a two-hour special on Steve Bannon’s War Room program yesterday described the actual, “unrestricted” war Xi and his predecessors have long waged against the USA.  For all these reasons, the United States must hold the Chinese Communist accountable and resist – not ignore, let alone accommodate – his agenda of destroying America.  This is Frank Gaffney.

It’s ominous that the U.S. Air Force has decided to shut down its small, but highly valued, team monitoring Mandarin-language information about the rapidly growing threat posed by its Chinese counterpart. Is the closure of the China Aerospace Studies Institute and, apparently, its Navy and Army counterparts, part of a wider effort to appease the Chinese Communist Party during Xi Jinping’s state visit here this week? Our Committee on the Present Danger: China will be critically examining such prospects in the course of a two-hour special this afternoon on Steve Bannon’s War Room program. What’s clear is that the U.S. military needs more and better insights into the evolving Chinese menace. And Xi needs to be disabused of any notion that we will be unilaterally disarming in his longstanding “unrestricted warfare” against us – which must end now. This is Frank Gaffney.

President Trump meets this week with New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Chinese dictator Xi Jinping. American patriots are praying A he will use both occasions to illuminate and resist their efforts to take down our country, and showcase the common cause they and their friends are making to that end. Mamdani is a member of Democratic Socialists of America, an avowedly Communist organization. It has, moreover, longstanding ties to the Chinese Communist Party and its subversive United Front Work Department, a prime-mover behind China’s “capture” of U.S. elites and “unrestricted warfare” against us.  Mr. Trump is rightly warning the electorate about the rising threat posed by Communists inside America. He must resist the temptation to send a contradictory message that they are actually people with whom we can safely do business, rather than enemies, foreign and domestic. This is Frank Gaffney.

There are rumors that President Trump may not be meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping next week due to the Communist emperor’s failing health. We should be so lucky. The truth is, if Xi does come to Washington, he inevitably will be lauded and probably rewarded – despite the fact that his regime is directly responsible for the mass murder of more Americans than all our other enemies combined.  That’s because the Chinese Communist Party’s weapons of choice in its decades-long “unrestricted warfare” against the USA have been chemical and biological ones. Xi’s weaponization of fentanyl, increasingly nitazenes and the Covid-19 plague have killed over a million and a half Americans. Unless Xi is held accountable for such crimes against humanity, no good can come from allowing him to take a victory lap here.    This is Frank Gaffney.

A National Public Radio interview today denounced Republican politicians’ rhetoric characterized as “anti-Muslim hate” and “bigotry.”   It was a classic exercise in disinformation, effectively serving the “civilization jihad” waged by the Muslim Brotherhood in accordance with its secret plan to “destroy Western civilization from within.” By casting Muslims as victims and castigating those warning about the actual hate of infidels required by Islam’s strategy for conquest known as sharia, NPR isn’t reporting the news. Instead, “public radio” is helping our enemies within obscure it.  Notably, host Leila Fadel falsely asserted that sharia is just “Islamic rules for the way practicing Muslims live their life.”  NPR owes it to the American people to give equal time to truth-tellers about sharia – and an end to the help it’s giving to the stealth jihadists making ominous inroads in “superimposing” it here. A movie title seems to apply to two of the top news stories at the moment. “Kill Chain” was a documentary film released in the run-up to the controversial 2020 presidential election. It featured, among others, prominent Democratic senators warning about the ease with which voting machines still in use today could be illegally accessed and manipulated via the Internet. Curiously, none of these legislators evinced any concern about this threat to election integrity after Joe Biden “won” that election. Nor do they seem worried about another formula for compromising free and fair elections recently enabled by the Supreme Court: inherently fraud-prone mail-in ballots.  Meanwhile, a second breaking news item seems to have in prospect a literal kill chain – namely, the pell-mell pursuit of artificial intelligence potentially capable of imperiling mankind. Decades of hard experience with arms control are instructive in  assessing the prospects for proposals to have the United States and Communist China create bilateral mechanisms for managing risks arising from pell-mell and fraught advances in artificial intelligence.  It’s seductive to believe that such arrangements are desirable since totalitarian regimes should have a shared interest in averting dangerous miscalculations or unchecked threatening developments.  In practice, however, what consistently happened was when such regimes entered into accords limiting military capabilities, they cheated on their obligations, benefited from our unilaterally conforming to ours and exploited opportunities thus afforded to collect intelligence against us.  Legitimate concerns about the rise of U.S.-generated “FrankenAI” argue for restraint on our part. But the only hope for actually mitigating the threat posed by China’s headlong pursuit of perilous artificial intelligence is the end of the Chinese Communist Party.  This is Frank Gaffney.

Good news! Last week’s Republican Midterm Convention did address what was, in a manner of speaking, the elephant in the room. Four powerful leaders warned about what amounts to the threat posed by sharia-supremacism – and the need to equip American voters to reject the Democratic Party’s embrace of its adherents and their Marxist allies and enablers. Texas Senator Ted Cruz, former House Intelligence Committee Chairman and Michigan Senate candidate Mike Rogers, Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. all warned about what’s on the line this fall.  In short, the Republican Party’s historic commitment to liberty stands in stark contrast to the Democratic Party’s enabling of slavery from its inception to its embrace today of Muslim Brotherhood jihadists and Democratic Socialists of America Marxists who would enslave us all.  Choose freedom. Twenty-five years ago today, I witnessed the impact of an insidious Muslim Brotherhood influence operation aimed at manipulating President George W. Bush kick into gear, with profoundly harmful effects ever since.   The Brothers’ immediate object was to obscure the impetus behind what were acts of jihad animated by Islam’s strategy for conquest called sharia. They persuaded Mr. Bush to say “Islam is peace” and declare a “war on terror.”  The very good news is the Republican Midterm Convention yesterday signaled the sharia-supremacist threat that has profoundly metastasized for twenty-five years is now not only going to be correctly characterized. The GOP seems poised finally to act against it. Successive party leaders denounced the Democrats’ embrace of jihadists and their Marxist allies. The stage is set for the needed electoral choice between slavery at their hands and freedom. Let’s roll. This is Frank Gaffney.

It seems impossible that there could be an ignored elephant at a Republican Midterm Convention. But there was nary a word from the main stage yesterday about the threat that is increasingly evident in the state of Texas and across the land. That’s even more bizarre given the GOP’s political opposition is directly intensifying that threat by the Democrats’ embrace of sharia-supremacism promoted by the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as its Democratic Socialist allies. The impact of Charlie Kirk’s murder one year ago today, is evident in the GOP convention’s silence thus far on what he identified as the mortal threat of our time – namely, “Islam is not compatible with Western civilization.” The Republican convention has another chance today to make the choice of freedom over slavery at the hands of the Red- Green axis a voting issue this fall.
