Fellowship & Worship | UNHINDERED | (10/04/2026)
2026/10/05
Unhindered, The Church Alive, The Church on Mission
Mark 2:1-12 – A Biblical Example of Fellowship and Worship
Point 1: Biblical Fellowship happens when a group of people decide to do two things, we
are moving towards God together and you are coming with us.
Biblical Fellowship is rooted in a love for Jesus and His Word.
Biblical Fellowship says “whatever it takes” and lives like it.
We carry the mat with Prayer and Presence
Point 2: Biblical Worship is recognizing and responding to who God is both backwards and
forwards.
When we look back and Worship that’s – Gratitude
When we look forward and Worship that’s - Faith
Great Power, Great Responsibility
2026/09/30
What if the power God has given you was never meant to stay hidden? This week, Michael, Paxton, Tate, and the crew have some fun imagining the responsibilities that would come with superhero powers before turning to a much bigger question: What are we doing with the power of the Holy Spirit already living within us?
The conversation digs into spiritual gifts, available obedience, and the things that often keep us from stepping into what God has called us to do. From feeling unqualified to simply being too busy, they challenge us to stop waiting for the perfect moment and recognize the opportunities God may already be placing in front of us every day.

Wind and Fire
Filled For The Mission
Acts 1:6-8
The Holy Spirit gives power
1 Corinthians 12:4-7
That power has a purpose
Ephesians 4:11-16
People are the purpose
Don’t let it stop at potential
The power is there; will you participate?
Ephesians 3:20
We have the power. We know the purpose. We see the people. Will we participate? Or
will it just be wasted potential?
Overthinking Obedience

ASK A QUESTION - TELL A STORY - CONNECT WITH US
How do you know when the Holy Spirit is nudging you toward something, and what happens when you actually listen? Josh, Steve, Evan, and Tate share personal stories of unexpected generosity, life-changing conversations, and decisions that led them into ministry. Sometimes the smallest steps of obedience become the moments that change everything.
As the conversation continues, the guys unpack what it means to wait, listen, and step into God’s calling, even when the next move feels uncomfortable. Plus, Josh puts everyone to the test with a hilarious game of Test the Nudge, where everyday decisions become opportunities to discern whether it’s a red flag, yellow light, or green light. Could the thing you’re waiting on God to confirm be something He’s already asked you to do?
Follow the Nudge | WIND & FIRE | (09/20/2026)

WIND & FIRE
“Follow the Nudge: Walking with the Spirit”
Acts 16:6–10, Isaiah 30: 21, John 10:27
“God told me.”
Ezekiel 13:3, “Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!”
John 10:27, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
Key question: How do I know it's Him?
Following the nudge:
1. Slow your Roll: WAIT
prevented … did not allow.
See Proverbs 16:9, Micah 7:7, and Isaiah 30:21.
I need to surrender my good thing to step into God's thing.
2. Train your Ear: LISTEN
“My sheep listen to my voice”
We're trying to hear God’s whisper in a noisy notification world.
“That night Paul had a vision”.
3. Test the Nudge: THEN STEP
“So WE decided…”
“We decided to leave for Macedonia at once…”
See Proverbs 12:15, Proverbs 15:22, and 1 Corinthians 14:29.
There comes a point when discernment has to become obedience.

TEST.

What Are You Really Thirsty For?
2026/09/16
ASK A QUESTION – TELL A STORY – CONNECT WITH US
What actually satisfies us? This week, Michael, Paxton, AB, and Tate start with a very serious ranking of life’s oddly satisfying moments, from pressure washing and crunchy leaves to fresh sheets and finally getting that popcorn kernel out of your teeth. But the conversation turns toward a much deeper kind of satisfaction as they unpack what it means for the Holy Spirit to breathe life into us, satisfy our deepest thirst, and illuminate the next step in front of us.
The group gets personal about the distractions we reach for when life feels heavy, why satisfaction in the Spirit requires surrender, and whether our choices can hinder His work in our lives. They also talk about learning to recognize the Spirit’s nudges, the danger of ongoing sin, and developing a daily posture that says, “Lord, if You’re not going, I don’t want it.” It’s an honest conversation about learning to stop looking everywhere else for what only God can provide.
Watch Him Move | WIND & FIRE | (09/13/2026)
2026/09/13
Wind & Fire
“Watch Him Move: Breath, Water, Flame”
John 7:37–39; 8:12
1. Breathe Fully—The Spirit Gives Life
2. Drink Deeply—He Satisfies the Thirsty
3. See Clearly—He Lights the Way
John 12:8, “Jesus spoke to the people once more…”
Practicing the Presence:
Welcome the Holy Spirit: Holy Spirit, you are welcome here.
Look to Scripture: Look for Jesus, Listen and Obey.
Receive and Release
Breathe—Without the breath of life, I am dust—come Holy Spirit.
Drink—Holy Spirit, quench the thirst in me.
See—Holy Spirit, help me see.
Final Thought: Watch Him move—and move with Him.
Don’t Settle for One Potato
2026/09/10
This week on Beyond Sunday, Michael Shearon, Paxton Redd, Tate Wells, and Cliff Hines kick things off with some questionable food combinations, from peanut butter and cheese to ranch on spaghetti, before somehow turning potatoes into a pretty solid picture of the Christian life. The conversation picks up from Sunday’s message, Undivided, exploring why Scripture, the Holy Spirit, and our experiences with God were never meant to compete with one another.
The guys wrestle with how we know when the Holy Spirit is actually leading us, why chasing an experience can cause us to miss the One behind it, and what happens when God only gives enough light for the next step. Along the way, a late-night “lantern story” becomes a powerful reminder that following God rarely means seeing the whole road ahead. Sometimes faithfulness simply means opening the Word, listening to the Spirit, trusting the people God has placed around us, and taking the next right step.

UNDIVIDED: Spirit and Scripture as One
2 Peter 1:16-21
The Undivided Christian Life
1. EXPERIENCE - Peter Experienced God. v. 16-18
Peter saw the glory, but remembered the truth
Genuine Spirit experiences make Jesus clearer
2. WORD - Pay Attention to the Word. v. 19
Experience and the Word converge on Christ
You can believe the Bible is authoritative and still ignore it
3. SPIRIT - The Spirit Gave Us the Word. v. 20-21
Behind the Word is the Wind
3 Roles the Spirit plays here
Inspiration, Illumination, Leading
Never allow what you think the Spirit is saying to overrule what you know the Spirit
has said.

ASK A QUESTION - TELL A STORY - CONNECT WITH US
Josh is joined by Michael, Evan, and A.B. as New Work Fellowship begins the Wind and Fire series and a conversation about practicing life in the Holy Spirit. The episode kicks off with the Baptist Comfort Scale, testing just how nervous things like raised hands, spontaneous worship, public prayer, “God gave me a word,” and the dreaded church tambourine can make a room full of Baptists. Beneath the laughs is an important question: how do we become more open to the Holy Spirit without confusing His leading with our own feelings, preferences, or agendas?
The conversation turns practical as the team explores Jesus’ promise of the Holy Spirit and what it means to actually live attentive to His presence. From conviction and Scripture to the fruit of the Spirit and the simple “Here I Am” prayer, the challenge is not merely to believe the Spirit is present, but to listen and respond when He leads. What might change if we began each day asking the Holy Spirit to fill us, lead us, and use us, and then actually expected Him to answer?
Let Me Introduce You | WIND & FIRE | (08/30/2026)
2026/08/31
WIND & FIRE
“Let me introduce you”
John 16:7–15
When I cannot control the winds of change raging around me—
I can surrender to the Wind and Fire of God within me.
BELIEVE THE PROMISE
See John 16:7, “It is best for you that I go away.”
What is the benefit?
Better than Jesus beside them,
was the Holy Spirit within them.
Romans 8:11, “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”
When you confess Christ as Lord/Savior The Holy Spirit lives in you.
TRUST THE ADVOCATE
See John 16:7, “If I go away, I will send the Advocate.”
The Holy Spirit is not against you. He is for your good.
Romans 8:1, “There is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus”.
Be careful:
Eph 4:30, “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God…”
1 Thess 5:19, “Do not quench the Spirit”
James 4:8, “Come near to God and He will come near to you.”
PRACTICE THE PRESENCE
John 16:12, “There is so much more…”
The here I am prayer:
Holy Spirit, here I am.
Fill me.
Lead me.
Use me.
You are welcome in me.
The Sparks Will Fly
2026/08/26
What starts with studio volume battles, office route rivalries, and an intense "friendship draft" for apocalyptic scenarios quickly turns into an honest, unscripted look at what it truly means to do life together. Josh, Paxton, Michael, Steve, and Tate gather around the table to unpack the closing message of the Winds of Change series on loneliness. Between hilarious road trip stories, nightmare phone glitches, and banter over who you’d actually trust to change a flat tire at midnight, the crew wrestles with a compelling question: in a culture obsessed with affirmation, who are the real people in your life willing to fight for you—and even fight with you?
Moving beyond lighthearted roasts, the conversation cuts deep into the cultural shift toward digital companionship and synthetic advice. The guys explore the irreplaceable power of physical presence, showing up in moments of tragedy, and the sharpening friction that comes with true accountability. From celebrating a wave of recent baptisms to looking ahead to the upcoming Wind and Fire series on the Holy Spirit, this episode is a warm, witty, and convicting reminder that we were never designed to navigate life alone.

Ecclesiastes 4:8-12
We were not made to do life alone
Partnership increases effectiveness
We need people who will work with us
Never underestimate people who share a common purpose OR A COMMON ENEMY
Hebrews 10:24
We need people who will pick us up
Galatians 6:1-2
We need people who will stay close
Romans 12:15
We need people who will fight with us
Fight with us, fight for us, and sometimes fight us

Ephesians 2:12-13, 19
Peace Without the Guarantee
2026/08/19
This week on Beyond Sunday, Paxton, Michael, Josh, and Tate take Kevin’s message from Ecclesiastes into a conversation about something most of us wrestle with: our desire to control what was never ours to control. After a hilariously personal listener question and a game about whether we’d actually want to know what’s coming next in life, the conversation turns toward anxiety, uncertainty, and the scorecards we often use to measure whether life is going well.
The guys get especially personal about their own experiences with anxiety, surrender, prayer, Scripture, therapy, and the importance of walking through difficult seasons alongside other believers. What does it actually look like to “take every thought captive”? Is surrender something we do once, or something we have to choose again every day? And what happens when God doesn’t calm the storm around us, but instead begins calming the storm within us? It’s an encouraging conversation about loosening our grip on the outcome and learning to trust the God who is already there.
WINDS OF CHANGE | Rest in the Wind (08/16/2026)
2026/08/17
Winds of Change
“Rest in the Wind”
Ecclesiastes 9:11-12, 12:13-14
#1 Admit Life is Wind
See Ecclesiastes 9:11-12
“time and chance”—
I don’t always shape my moments.
Sometimes my moments shape me.
Anxiety is what happens when my expectation assumes
a guarantee that God never gave.
Philippians 2:6, [Jesus] “who, though he was in the form of God,
did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped…”
#2 Relinquish the scorecards that do not satisfy
Four success scorecards:
Affluence—see Matthew 6:19
Appearance—see 1 Samuel 16:7
Approval—see Galatians 1:10
Authority—see Mark 10:42-45
#3 Surrender all, to the God who makes life whole
See: Ecclesiastes 12:13–14.
When God gets smaller, my problems get louder.
When God gets bigger, my soul gets quieter.
Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.”
Sometimes God calms the storm around us,
And sometimes he calms the storm within us.
But either way, His peace is always enough.
