Business Success with Human Design with Nancy OKeefe: Do You Have An Authority Gap Holding You and Your Business Back?
2026/10/02
Do You Have An Authority Gap Holding You and Your Business Back?
There comes a point in a woman’s business when the strategies that got her here are no longer the whole answer.
And it's because she has grown and her business, message and visibility may not yet reflect the woman she has become.
There is a gap between who she is now and what the world is currently getting to see.
I call it the Authority Gap.
This work helps women entrepreneurs close that gap not by becoming louder or more polished, but by bringing more of who they actually are into the way they market and build their businesses.
The journey moves through three stages: ALIGN → LEAD → EMBODY.
Take the free Authority Gap Assessment discussed in this episode at https://nancyokeefecoaching.com/the-authority-gap-assessment/

Flaunt! Find Your Sparkle & Create a Life You Love After Infidelity or Betrayal with Lora Cheadle: Marriage Be Better After Infidelity
2026/10/02
Can Your Marriage Really Be Better After Infidelity?
With Hasani and Danielle Pettiford of Couple’s Academy
Not just saved. Not just kept intact. But genuinely better? After betrayal, so much attention goes to the two individuals. You need to heal. He needs to understand why he cheated and change the patterns that allowed it to happen.
But there is a third entity that also needs attention: the relationship itself.
In this episode, I'm joined by Hasani and Danielle Pettiford, founders of Couples Academy, for a conversation about what it really takes to rebuild a marriage after infidelity.
And we're not talking about simply promising never to cheat again. We talk about the personal, relational, and social factors that contribute to infidelity, including something that often gets overlooked: the environments, friendships, workplaces, social media, cultural messages, and unspoken boundaries that influence a marriage.
We also get into something I wish more couples talked about before betrayal ever happened: What are the values and rules of your relationship?
What does fidelity actually mean to each of you? What is appropriate with friends or coworkers? Where are the boundaries? What do you believe about marriage, intimacy, communication, and commitment?
Because you can have your values. He can have his. But if you're going to build a life together, the relationship needs values too.
Can Your Marriage Really Become Something Better? One of my favorite parts of this conversation comes at the end.
My husband now says that this is the marriage he always dreamed of having. I would never pretend I'm grateful for the infidelity that brought us to this point. I wish we had known how to create this marriage without going through what we went through. But I also know firsthand that the marriage you had before betrayal does not have to be the marriage you have afterward.
If you're trying to figure out whether your partner is truly changing, whether your marriage can actually be rebuilt, or whether reconciliation is possible for you, book a private Introductory Session with me at IntroductorySession.com.
I'm not going to tell you whether to stay or leave. We'll look at what's actually happening, what you need, and what would have to be true for reconciliation to be possible.
Top 3 Takeaways
Understanding why infidelity happened requires looking at more than one thing.
Hasani and Danielle break the “why” into personal, relational, and social factors. Your partner may bring unresolved wounds or patterns into the marriage. The relationship itself may have problems. And outside influences, from friends and coworkers to social media and cultural norms, can matter too. Understanding those factors doesn't excuse betrayal, but it does matter if you're trying to determine whether the pattern can actually change.
A healthy marriage needs shared values, not just two people with individual expectations.
Most couples never explicitly define fidelity, boundaries, intimacy, communication, or even what being married means to them. Instead, we assume our partner sees those things the way we do. Hasani and Danielle explain why creating a shared relational code matters and why negotiation can be far more powerful than one partner continually giving in to the other.
Real change after infidelity has to be demonstrated, not merely promised.
After betrayal, “I'll never do it again” isn't enough. Trust was lost through behavior, and it has to be rebuilt through behavior. At the same time, the betrayed partner eventually has to be able to recognize genuine change rather than holding a partner permanently hostage to who they were at their worst. That's a difficult balance, and it's one reason having the right outside support can matter so much.

Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour with Mariam Massaro: #687
2026/10/02
Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #687 is an hour of inspired visionary acoustic improvised music played by The Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro on vocals, acoustic guitar, 4- and 8-string ukulele, crystal bowl, shruti box, mandolin, Native flute and double flute, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and Native drum. Recorded live at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts in late September of 2026, today’s show begins with the easeful, bucolic folk of “I Am Guided By Love And Truth” before shifting into the lush, shaded minor of “Let’s All Seek Bliss”. “After the Rain” is another fine, melodic folk number with a lovely vocal from Mariam that shifts into a Native-flute decorated coda featuring throbbing Native drum and shifting, imaginative piano. “Just Hold Me” is a complete re-imagining of the track from Mariam’s “Smooth Sailin’ Love Songs” LP that floats into a compelling, lengthy Native flute solo over sophisticated piano harmonies and heartbeat drum. “Nurture Every Moment Of Your Own Divinity” is a mysterious, evocative piece with a rich harmonic setup that supports a fine, wide-ranging vocal from Mariam and “Let It Take You Home” is a rich, fascinating song built on a foundation of modern classical music and Mariam’s crystal bowl drone and soaring vocal. “For We Know” is a lilting, gorgeous song with tender acoustic guitar and dancing piano forming a compelling harmonic foundation for Mariam’s beautiful, touching melody. “May You Feel Good As You Treasure Love” is a compelling piece filled with poetry and imaginative musical moments and we conclude today’s show with a rhythmically tight, rich reading of Mariam’s classic island song “Pele” from her “Gaea Star Goddesses” LP.

Make Mental Health Matter with Kelli Melissa Reinhardt: Recovery Out Loud: Real Stories Part 1
2026/10/02
Recovery Out Loud: Real Stories, Real Recovery, Real Hope | Part 1
Recovery Out Loud: AFRC Rally for Recovery 2026, Part 1
What does recovery really look like?
In this special episode of the Make Mental Health Matter Show, host Kelli Melissa Reinhardt takes the show out of the studio and into the heart of the AFRC Rally for Recovery 2026 for an unforgettable celebration of recovery, resilience, connection and hope.
And because this was recorded live and on location, expect the unexpected. Weather, technical difficulties, crowds, celebrations happening in the background and spontaneous guests are all part of the experience. That's the beauty of going live. It's real, unfiltered and human.
Throughout Part 1, Kelli sits down with people in recovery, peer support specialists, advocates and representatives from organizations doing boots-on-the-ground work in the recovery community. They share deeply personal stories of addiction, relapse, trauma, loss, incarceration, homelessness and the moments that ultimately helped them choose a different path.
But this episode isn't just about where they've been.
It's about where they are now.
You'll hear stories about finding purpose after addiction, rebuilding a life worth protecting, asking for help, discovering community and turning lived experience into a way to help the next person. One message comes through again and again: recovery doesn't have to look the same for everyone, and nobody should have to do it alone.
Kelli also highlights organizations and resources helping people at different stages of recovery, from sober living and peer coaching to family support, outreach, recovery cards and programs designed to meet people where they are.
Perhaps most importantly, these conversations challenge the stigma that can surround addiction and recovery. Behind every label is a human being with a story. Sometimes what changes a life isn't judgment or another lecture. It's someone keeping the door open, offering another chance and saying, "I believe in you."
September is Recovery Month, but recovery deserves to be talked about, supported and celebrated all year long.
This is Recovery Out Loud, where lived experience becomes hope, recovery becomes community, and stories remind us that change is possible.
And we're only getting started.
This is Part 1 of our AFRC Rally for Recovery special. Join us next week for Part 2, with even more footage, conversations, organizations and powerful stories from the Rally.
Let's keep breaking stigma, sharing resources and reminding people that they are never alone.
Together, we #MakeMentalHealthMatter.

The Choose Love Movement with Scarlett Lewis: What If the Pain You’re Carrying Is Actually Holding Your Power?
2026/10/02
What If the Pain You’re Carrying Is Actually Holding Your Power?
Sitting together on their dock in Maine, Scarlett Lewis and her mother, Maureen, explore the power of Heroic Choices and what it means to stop giving our power away to painful experiences.
Our brains hold onto painful memories as a way to protect us, but we can choose how we respond to them. Through a Brave Breath, the Choice Moment, and the Choose Love Formula (Courage, Gratitude, Forgiveness, and Compassion in Action) we can pause, find the lesson, and release the emotional burden.
Scarlett shares an exercise she uses in her speaking engagements: identify the grievances you’re still carrying and ask, “How did this experience shape me? What strength or growth can I take from it?”
We can’t change what happened, but we can change what it means and reclaim our power in the process. When we choose to come from a place of love rather than fear, we create space for healing, growth, and the freedom to move forward.

Awakening to True Happiness with David Hoffmeister: Timelessness and the Holy Instant
2026/10/02
Timelessness and the Holy Instant
Welcome to a Movie Session from "The Way" series with David Hoffmeister, recorded live at the Living Miracles Monastery, Awakening Mind Center. This episode features a spiritual discussion of timelessness and the importance of living entirely in the present moment. By analyzing science fiction television clips, Hofmeister illustrates how the mind constructs the illusion of linear time, physical space, and complex interpersonal relationships, advocating for the release of past memories and future anxieties. Grounded in the teachings of A Course in Miracles, the broadcast emphasizes that physical reality is merely a projection of the ego designed to distract from true spiritual unity. Listeners are encouraged to achieve spiritual awakening and deep inner peace by recognizing the power of their own thoughts, practicing complete non-judgment, and returning to an undivided state of mind.

Flaunt! Find Your Sparkle & Create a Life You Love After Infidelity or Betrayal with Lora Cheadle: When You’re Doing the Healing Work
2026/09/25
When You’re Doing the Healing Work—but Still Don’t Feel Safe After Betrayal
With Anne Blythe, M.Ed., Founder of Betrayal Trauma Recovery
After betrayal, women are often told to heal. Regulate your nervous system. Stop obsessing. Work on your triggers. Communicate better. Go to therapy. Learn to trust again. So you do…
But what happens when you've read the books, done the therapy, practiced the tools, and worked incredibly hard—and your body still doesn't feel safe?
Maybe the problem isn't that you're failing at healing. Maybe your nervous system is responding to something that is still happening.
In this episode, Lora Cheadle talks with Anne Blythe, M.Ed., founder of Betrayal Trauma Recovery, host of The Betrayal Trauma Recovery Podcast, and creator of the Clarity After Betrayal Workshop, about one of the most confusing parts of betrayal recovery: learning to distinguish between the trauma of what happened in the past and harm that may still be occurring in the present.
Anne challenges conventional betrayal-recovery models by asking women to consider whether what they've been treating solely as a relationship problem may also involve patterns of control, coercion, exploitation, or emotional and psychological abuse.
Drawing from Anne's lived experience and her extensive interviews with betrayed women, Lora and Anne explore gaslighting, intimate deception, sexual coercion, and why certain approaches to couples therapy can sometimes make an already confusing situation even harder to see clearly.
They also tackle the question so many women desperately want answered:
How do I know if he's really changing—or simply getting better at saying and doing the right things?
Words can sound wonderful. Promises can bring tremendous relief. A partner may appear calmer, more attentive, more remorseful, or more committed to recovery.
But genuine change isn't something you should have to manufacture for him—or manage with a checklist.
The goal is to become grounded enough in yourself that you can step back, observe what is actually happening, protect your emotional and psychological safety, and make decisions based on reality rather than fear, hope, pressure, or someone else's instructions.
And importantly, this conversation is not about telling women to stay or leave.
Recognizing harmful behavior does not automatically dictate divorce. Likewise, choosing to stay does not mean tolerating behavior that is unsafe or unacceptable.
The goal is clarity, safety, strategy, and trusting yourself enough to determine what is right for your own life.
Top 3 Takeaways
If you're doing the healing work but still don't feel safe, don't automatically assume you're doing something wrong.
After betrayal, women can become so focused on regulating themselves and becoming "less reactive" that they interpret every continued nervous-system response as evidence they haven't healed enough. But if deception, manipulation, coercion, or other harmful behavior is ongoing, your body may be responding to what is happening in the present—not simply reacting to the past.
Don't evaluate change by words alone. Create enough emotional space to observe what is actually happening.
Anne recommends giving yourself small breaks from the pain so your entire day isn't consumed by betrayal. From a more regulated place, you can begin observing your partner's behavior rather than relying solely on reassurance or promises. Genuine change becomes something you witness over time—not something you have to coach, manage, or convince yourself is happening.
You don't have to decide "stay or leave" before you learn how to protect yourself. Emotional and psychological safety strategies can matter whether you remain married, separate, reconcile, or eventually divorce. The goal isn't for someone else to tell you what you "have to" do. It's to understand what you're dealing with, gather the legal, financial, emotional, and practical information you need, and develop a strategy that allows you to make decisions from clarity instead of coercion or fear.

Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour with Mariam Massaro: #686
2026/09/25
Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #686 is an hour of dynamic, visionary acoustic improvised music and songs by Mariam Massaro played by The Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro on vocals, 4- and 8-string ukulele, acoustic guitar, crystal bowl, Celtic harp, harmonica and mandolin, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and Native drum. Recorded live at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts in mid-September of 2026, today’s show begins with the intense, powerful “Oh Holy Ground” before easing into the classically-inflected folk of “Many Seeds Have Fallen”, a charmingly formal song with a beautifully simple and uncolored vocal from Mariam. “Thunderbeings” is a powerful, driving storm song with throbbing Native drum and chiming acoustic guitar and “Restore” is a rich, sacred love song to the Earth and a powerful prayer to sustainability. “Spirit Of Fire” is a powerfully spiritual song from Mariam that reveres the elements with a dancing, energized rhythm built around Mariam’s driving ukulele strums and reverent, soaring vocal and featuring a gorgeous coda decorated with Mariam’s evocative Native flute. “Let’s Open To Our Own Majesty” opens as an exotic, psychedelic excursion that shifts into a pretty, peaceful song with lovely chord motifs and a lilting vocal from Mariam. Mariam strums her evocatively flowing Celtic harp over heartbeat Native drum and minimalist piano for the rich, affecting “Goodbye Forest We Love You” and “Mighty Are The Wings Of Love” is made exotic and mysterious by the minor chord figurations of Mariam’s tart, rhythmic mandolin and Bob’s modal piano work. “We Call In The Wind” is another powerful prayer to the elements originally recorded for Mariam’s “Vision Quest” LP and the band presents it with precision and power. “I Am The Mother Earth” is another “Vision Quest” track that the ensemble expands and stretches in intriguing, imaginative ways before closing today’s show with the tight, groovy blues rocker “Oh The Magical”, a driving Ray Charles-like workout with throbbing drums and chiming ukulele.

Make Mental Health Matter with Kelli Melissa Reinhardt: Recovery Is Personal, Not One Size Fits All
2026/09/25
Recovery Is Personal, Not One Size Fits All
September is National Recovery Month, and in this deeply personal solo episode of the Make Mental Health Matter Show, host Kelli Melissa Reinhardt opens an honest conversation about substance use, recovery, harm reduction, mental health, and what it really means to support someone who is struggling.
Recovery isn't always a straight line. It isn't an overnight decision, a 30, 60, or 90-day program, or a journey that looks the same for everyone. For many people, recovery is a daily commitment, and ultimately, it has to belong to the person living it.
Kelli explores the difficult reality families and caregivers often face when they desperately want someone they love to get help. We can offer resources, encouragement, treatment options, connection and love, but what happens when our desire to help turns into pressure, guilt, shame or trying to control someone else's journey?
Through stories from her own life, her experiences with her sister, and the powerful recovery journey of a friend, Kelli looks at what can happen when someone finally feels seen instead of judged.
She also discusses harm reduction, Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, and why keeping someone alive must come before judging the choices that brought them to that moment. The conversation challenges us to think differently about what "successful" recovery has to look like and to recognize that one person's path may look very different from another's.
Kelli also gets vulnerable about her own experiences with alcohol, cigarettes and substances growing up, the influence of friends and family, and her personal decision to stop drinking. Her story serves as a reminder that our relationships with substances, our reasons for using them, and our decisions about recovery are deeply personal.
At the heart of this episode is a simple message: stop judging and start connecting.
Instead of telling someone what their recovery should look like, ask what support they need. Help them find resources. Help them build community. Meet them where they are. And remember that recovery is not about perfection.
Recovery is personal. Recovery can be messy. Recovery can take many forms.
Most importantly, recovery is possible.
Together, let's replace judgment with compassion, isolation with connection, and shame with support as we #MakeMentalHealthMatter.

Retreat to Peace with Catherine Daniels: You Can Lose Everything And Still Rebuild
2026/09/25
You Can Lose Everything And Still Rebuild
She evacuated Hurricane Katrina while battling Bell’s palsy, then realized she was homeless in an instant and still had to keep moving. That is the kind of story that cuts through noise, because it is not just about a natural disaster, it is about what stress does to the body, what matters when you have minutes to decide, and how a life gets rebuilt from whatever you managed to carry out the door.
We sit down with Raquel, a Marine with a fierce fighting spirit and a deep compassion that was forged in hard places. We talk through the Katrina timeline, the chaos of packing when your brain is overloaded, and the preparedness basics that actually protect your future, like keeping vital documents in a fireproof waterproof container and having a true grab-and-go plan. From there, we connect the “outer storm” to the “inner storm,” including moral injury, trauma in the body, and why healing work cannot be postponed forever.
The conversation also goes straight into relationships and community. We unpack how technology, comfort, and isolation can quietly erode family connection, why forgiveness is freeing but does not erase boundaries, and how faith can guide you through breaking away from what is unhealthy. We also share what we are building together around radiant living and introduce Raquel’s book Katrina, My Own Inner Storm, A Moral Injury Journey along with her 40-day framework for growth and healing.
If this helped you think differently about resilience, disaster readiness, trauma healing, forgiveness, and rebuilding community, subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find it.
