The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency approved a rule this week that will allow gasoline blended with higher amounts of ethanol to be sold year-round in eight Midwestern states, including Minnesota. A public memorial service for the three first responders killed Sunday in Burnsville is set for next week. Burnsville police officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge and firefighter-paramedic Adam Finseth were fatally shot while responding to a domestic violence call.
