Description
At South Fellowship Church, we believe we are changed when we encounter Jesus. Each week, we teach through a passage of Scripture, asking Him what He wants us to learn and how He is calling us to live in His way with His heart. Our sermons invite people from all backgrounds and spiritual levels to grow in Christlikeness and follow His example—because that is ultimately what the world needs. Want to dive deeper? Check out Red Couch Theology! Recorded live on YouTube every Thursday at 11am, this podcast unpacks Sunday’s teaching through casual, insightful discussions with Pastors Alex, Aaron, and occasional guests. Based in Littleton, CO.

You Have Access to God | Ephesians 2:11–22 | Ephesians (Part 4)
2026/10/05
For much of the biblical story, people understood some places as sacred and others as common. There were boundaries around where you could go and who could draw near to God. But in Ephesians 2, Paul describes what Jesus has changed. The walls have come down, everyone has access to God, and his presence is no longer confined to a particular building or place. Pastor Alex Walton explores what it means for us to become God’s dwelling place and carry his presence into the people and places we encounter every day.
Grace, Period. | Ephesians 2:1–10 | Ephesians (Part 3)
2026/09/28
Grace is a gift, but we have a habit of adding things to it. In Ephesians 2, Nathan Holmes explores the good news at the heart of the gospel: we are made alive in Christ not because of our politics, church attendance, performance, or anything else we can offer, but because of God’s grace. We don’t have to earn it, and we don’t have to prove ourselves worthy of it. We are saved by grace, period.
Do You Know God or Just Know About Him? | Ephesians 1:15–23 | Ephesians (Part 2)
2026/09/21
There’s a difference between knowing about someone and actually knowing them. In Ephesians 1, Paul prays that followers of Jesus wouldn’t simply know more about God, but would know him personally, experiencing the hope, power, and life that come from a relationship with him.
Accept That You’re Accepted | Ephesians 1:1–14 | Ephesians (Part 1)
2026/09/14
In the opening of Ephesians, Paul reminds a people surrounded by wealth, power, fear, and uncertainty that they are chosen, adopted, and met with God’s lavish grace. That same grace is for us too, inviting us to accept that we are fully accepted and loved by God.
Be a Voice for the Voiceless | Proverbs 31:8–9 | Proverbs - Walking in Wisdom (Part 9)
2026/09/08
Proverbs 31:8–9 calls us to be a voice for the voiceless, reflecting God’s heart for justice by using the influence, resources, and margin we have to step toward those who are vulnerable and in need.
The Lord Establishes Their Steps | Proverbs 16:9 | Proverbs - Walking in Wisdom (Part 8)
2026/09/01
We can make plans for our lives, but Proverbs 16:9 reminds us that God is at work in the unexpected, using even the storms we would never choose to shape us, transform us, and teach us to trust that Jesus is present even when we can’t see him.
Iron Sharpens Iron | Proverbs 27:17 | Proverbs - Walking in Wisdom (Part 7)
2026/08/24
We weren’t meant to grow into the way of Jesus alone. In this message from Proverbs 27, Sean Switzer explores what it really means for “iron to sharpen iron” and how God can use the honesty, friction, and encouragement of community to shape us. Who has God placed in your life to help you grow?
Train Up A Child: What it Means and What it Doesn't | Proverbs 22:6
2026/08/16
Parenting can come with a lot of pressure, especially when Proverbs 22:6 sounds like a promise that getting everything right will guarantee a certain outcome. In this message, Pastor Aaron Bjorklund offers a different way to approach this familiar verse, reminding us that our role isn’t to control our kids’ stories, but to faithfully point them toward Jesus and entrust them to God.
Pride Goes Before Destruction | Proverbs 16:18 | Proverbs - Walking in Wisdom (Part 5)
2026/08/10
What if humility isn’t about thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less? In this message from Proverbs 16, Nathan Holmes explores how knowing who God made us to be can free us to turn our attention outward and love others well.
A Gentle Answer Turns Away Wrath | Proverbs 15:1 | Proverbs (Part 4)
2026/08/03
It's easy to respond with quick words or sharp opinions, but Proverbs 15 points us toward a different way. In this message, Pastor Dan explores what it means to answer with gentleness and how humility, compassion, and tenderness can reshape our relationships.
The Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of Wisdom | Proverbs 9:10 | Proverbs - Walking in Wisdom (Part 3)
2026/07/27
Every day, we're invited to follow one voice or another. In this message from Proverbs 9, Nathan reflects on the competing invitations of wisdom and folly, showing how a growing awe of God helps us recognize the path that leads to life.
Guard Your Heart | Proverbs 4:2 | Proverbs - Walking in Wisdom (Part 2)
2026/07/20
Proverbs 4 calls us to "guard your heart," but what does that really mean? In this message, Pastor Diego Araya, one of South's Global Partners from Comunidad Nexo in Costa Rica, explores how our hearts are shaped over time and how walking closely with Jesus leads to lasting wisdom.
Getting God’s Guidance | Proverbs 3:5-6 | Proverbs - Walking in Wisdom (Part 1)
2026/07/13
We all want to know which path to take, but Proverbs points us to something deeper than the right decision. As we begin our study of Proverbs, we explore what it looks like to trust God wholeheartedly and discover that His guidance is shaped through a life of daily relationship with Him.
After the Wilderness | Deuteronomy 8:10-14 | The Space Between (Week 6)
2026/07/07
Before the Israelites entered the Promised Land, Moses gave them one simple instruction: remember. In this message from Deuteronomy 8, Jessica explores what it means to hold onto God's faithfulness in every season and how remembering who He is shapes the way we move forward.
What Suffering Is Actually Doing to You | Romans 5:1-11, 8:31-39 | The Space Between (Week 5)
2026/06/30
Hope is easy to talk about until life becomes difficult. In this message from Romans 5, Aaron explores the kind of hope that can bear the weight of suffering, uncertainty, and loss. Together we consider why God's love, revealed in Christ, is the foundation that holds when everything else feels unsteady.
