#Clayface #Batman #DCU #JamesGunn #Darkman #WB #DCcomics Clayface, much like the Penguin television show, proves that if you have a strong story that makes you care about the villain's plight then you will never ask "Hey, where's Batman?". Using the Matt Hagen iteration of Clayface gives us  the perfect setup of watching a character delve into villainy in a such a way that its tragic much like the episodes of the character in Batman: The Animated series.

It's the 90s and you can still scare the American public with a little End-Times tomfoolery. This time it's Christopher Walken playing the angel, Gabriel. With KC Jones (Elias Koteas) playing an ex-catholic priest turned police detective. Look, it's very 90's and it's dark!

#VisionQuest #WandaVision #MCU #Marvel  The plot thickens!!! Yes we are getting lots of character progression across the board from everyone to where you care about the plights of them all. Solid character work thats engaging. 4 more episodes left.

#StreetFighter #Capcom #KitaoSakurai #Ryu #Ken #ChunLi #MBison What happens when you have a movie that is very unapologetic in being like the thing its adapting? Well you get this latest Street Fighter adaptation that is surprisingly, objectively good. The film knows its adapting a very silly and fun game franchise and its fully embraces the insanity of it all. Everybody knew the assignment and nailed it very well. Definitely worth the watch.

#MistyGreen #ChrisRock #Hollywood Misty Green is a film that gives a very unapologetic view of what its like the maneuver in Hollywood especially for a person that has solid talent but lots of baggage behind it. Following the ebbs and flows of Misty and her life is fascinating to watch because you end up really rooting for her to succeed even with her navigating her own struggles.

#VisionQuest #WandaVision #AgathaAllAlong #ChildrensCrusade #Marvel #MCU #Disney The final part of the Wanda/Vision trilogy is upon us and it starts off with a huge bang. Episodes 1 & 2 sets the stage for this new Vision's character journey. This new Vision is trying to understand the old version down to even replicating the things it did but as we see in these 2 episodes, Ultron exists to nudge this new version in a direction where Vision has his own persona. This is gonna be a fun watch.

#TheSocialNetwork #TheSocialReckoning #Facebook #MarkZuckerberg #AaronSorkin  If The Social Network gave us a viewpoint of a guy who had no problem betraying people left and right with no remorse, then The Social Reckoning goes hard in the paint in showing what happens when arrogance and greed takes precedent over protecting the people of the platform you made. As great as the film is, if it released in 2023 it would've hit way better.

The final(for now) CGI Bio Hazard! And boy...it certainly is a movie. Let go out with a bang ...if you wanna call it that.

#Lanterns #GreenLantern #DCU #DCcomics #WB #TomKing The season finale is here. Does Lanterns stick the landing on its story? Yes it does but there's a small caveat and its in the overall telling of the narrative mainly in its "tell but don't show" logic at times.

#Digger #TomCruise #AlejandroGIñárritu Digger is conundrum of a film. On one hand the marketing of this movie doesn't give you much to work with to get a read of what its about. Flip side is that its visually intriguing that you end being being curious on wanting to see it. Its definitely a crazy wild ride that has a message that makes you sit with it for awhile

#Lanterns #GreenLantern #DCcomics #DCU #WB We are getting down the wire as we head into this season finale and Episode 7 gives us not only the buddy cop dynamic of Hal and John but alos further intrigue on what exactly Hal had planned in his backpocket. Definitely a hefty episode.

The real life story of Joe Clark! Kinda...not really, but the story gets a lot right. This is a golden black classic. We talk about the politics, the crack era, Morgan Freeman and what really happened.

#YourMotherYourMotherYourMother #MahershalaAli #JohnCho #TramellTillman #GiancarloEsposito Your Mother Your Mother isn't quite the Blade film that everyone assumed it was. In fact this movie has more in line with Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai in that its a personal film about overcoming grief and dealing with Latif picking up the pieces of his family life amidst him being a hit man. The action that the movie does have is great and it works in line with the story. But this movie is way more about the drama than action. Its a movie that showcases everybody's talent.

Rouge bad ass cop Jack Cates and bank robber Reggie Hammond have 48 Hours to capture Albert Ganz, Hammond's old partner. Sound simple enough. Let's just hope this movie can create the buddy-cop genre, or at least make Eddie Murphy a star.

#LegendoftheWhiteDragon #JDF #PowerRangers #BatintheSun #AaronSchoenke After years of post-production hell, we finally get to see the movie we all been waiting for...I mean, some of us were waiting for. Its time to rip the band-aid off and talk about JDF's last hurrah with Legend of the White Dragon. This is a serious talk because all three of 3BG is here alongside PrimeGundam and Blackwing2040. Just a warning, we're brutal with this one.
