One of the most beautiful things about the Lord’s Prayer is found in the first two words, "Our Father." Jesus could have said, “My Father.” Instead, He said Our Father, and, in doing so, He invited all mankind to address Almighty God in this way. Today, Ron takes an in-depth look at the first stanza of the Lord’s Prayer, with special emphasis on these first two words—what they meant to the original audience, and what they mean for you and me today.

A passionate and effective prayer life is not built on repetition, but on relationship. There’s nothing wrong with having a conversation with God in which you praise Him more than once, or thank Him more than once, or make the same request more than once. When we pray for a believer in Christ to be healed, God’s answer is always yes. Believe it or not, it’s true. When it comes to healing a born-again believer in Christ, the Lord’s answer is never no. It’s one of the most frequently asked questions in the church. Why does God heal some and not others? In a manner of speaking, God does heal every believer in Christ.
