For this event, I was asked to play music themed around "night driving." The end result is 17 songs, all but 2 of which are from 2015 or before - including a couple from late-90s Need For Speed games. Nearly half the mix is progressive breaks, and I also trimmed almost every song down for length. I got to pull music out of my library that I haven't played in 10+ years. This was a REALLY fun set to put together, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Live set recorded from the ADC 2026 event at the Embassy Suites San Marcos Conference Center in San Marcos, TX, USA on 2026-10-03. This set posed an interesting challenge: how to play something that was unquestionably "Foxhill" in style and took listeners on a journey despite maintaining a relatively-constant BPM from start-to-end. Challenge successful, I think! This live set was recorded at the Sheraton Denver Downtown during the DenFur 2026 event in Denver, CO, USA on 2026-08-29. Things don't always go to plan. 2 songs into this set, my USB drive died, and it wouldn't load 90% songs that I tried. My sets aren't pre-planned, but this one still veered off in a different direction than I had expected while I fought to keep the music going. Huge thanks to the ACFI A/V crew for retrieving my backup drive just as I fully lost the ability to load anything. This month, I was in a wild mood to just record a long mix that included all the kinds of music I like to play, from downtempo to progressive house to various styles of trance. I didn't have a target length in mind, I just gathered songs that went well together and went for it. It was a fun challenge trying to juggle the crazy BPM swings without breaking up the flow, and to that end, I think it was a success. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.   (0:00:00) Uppermost - UNIVERSE SHINE BRIGHTER [Uppwind] (0:03:27) Blugazer - Sidereus Aequinoctium [Self-Released] (0:08:24) Joe Ford - Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants [Shogun] (0:14:06) Fløa - Unlock [Rewoven] (0:16:36) Steven Weston - Nimbus [Anjunadeep] (0:20:09) LADS - Vorfreude (Alex O'Rion Remix) [Movement] (0:23:54) Rokazer - Focus [Colorize] (0:28:54) Das Pharaoh - Tempus Fugit [UV] (0:34:04) Basil O'Glue & Nomas - San Giljan [Pure Progressive] (0:38:12) Ralphe B & Frank Waanders pres. I might have gotten slightly carried away for this episode of Frontiers - but that's by no means a bad thing. There's a ton of great progressive house and trance here, and we even hit 138bpm...I think for the first time since Summit Sessions #100, wow. Buckle up. We're starting 2025 off strong with this first episode of Frontiers since last October. After a busy Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and all of the other end-of-year activities and other minutiae of daily life squeezed in-between those last few months, I've channeled all of that pent up musical energy into this one-hour mix. The average BPM of Frontiers is slowly creeping up, but I'm not complaining. Trance music is where my roots are, and I'm glad I've naturally found a way to have slower, melodic house coexist with it. I even managed to include a couple psy trance songs in this episode. Enjoy.   (00:00) Blood Groove & Kikis - Communication (Intro) [Silk] (03:03) Foxhill - When The Morning Comes [Pure Progressive] (08:38) GMJ & Matter - Ascending Sun (Simos Tagias Remix) [Proton] (13:05) Airwave - Extronic [Airwave] (17:36) Men-D - Sarmale (for Bogdan Albon) [Pure Progressive] (24:06) Enlusion & Rick Pier O'Neil - Meteorite [JOOF] (27:21) Mike McCarthy pres.
