Pastor Doug Lattimore opens Psalm 90:17 and Luke 2:52 with a word for anyone who feels overlooked: the favor of God on your life may simply be underground for a season. Give / support the ministry: https://solofaith.org/giving Watch live with us: https://solofaith.org/watch Solo Faith Church Inc. is a digital-first ministry based in Concord, NC, reaching from the Carolinas to Kenya. This is Part 1 of the Favor Underground series; Part 2 continues the message. In this introductory sermon, Pastor Doug teaches that God's favor is given to establish the work of our hands, not to make us proud, and that if God can get a blessing to you, He wants to get it through you to others. From the life of Joseph, he shows how rejection and hate can train us for a higher calling, and how God hides favor underground to protect it until the season comes for it to spring up. Pastor Doug Lattimore preaches 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 and Genesis 50:20 on the part nobody teaches: reconciliation takes sincerity from both sides, and you have to know who to reconcile with. Give / support the ministry: https://solofaith.org/giving Watch live with us: https://solofaith.org/watch Solo Faith Church Inc. is a digital-first ministry based in Concord, NC, reaching from the Carolinas to Kenya. This is Part 2 of a two-part series. Watch Part 1, True Repentance Repairs the Damage (Luke 19:1-10): https://youtu.be/Dol8PT6dMCo God reconciled us to Himself through Christ and then handed us the ministry of reconciliation, which means we are expected to go repair the relationships we broke. But Pastor Doug draws a line most sermons skip: reconciliation requires a real need on both sides. Using Joseph, who tested his brothers before he revealed himself, this message teaches discernment. Sincerity from one party and games from the other is not reconciliation, and chasing it with people who have not changed will wear you down. God allowed some separations on purpose, and the honest work is knowing which ones He means for you to mend and when the time is right. Pastor Doug Lattimore preaches Luke 19:1-10 with a hard question: if you have apologized but never repaired the damage you did, have you truly repented? Zacchaeus shows what real repentance actually costs. Give / support the ministry: https://solofaith.org/giving Watch live with us: https://solofaith.org/watch Solo Faith Church Inc. is a digital-first ministry based in Concord, NC, reaching from the Carolinas to Kenya. This is Part 1 of a two-part series - Part 2, "True Reconciliation," follows this message. Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector who had cheated people for profit, and when Jesus called him down out of the sycamore tree he did more than say sorry. He pledged half his possessions to the poor and fourfold repayment to anyone he had defrauded, and only then did Jesus say that salvation had come to his house. Pastor Doug walks through his grandmother's five-step plan of salvation, then focuses on step two: repent of all your ways. True repentance resets you back to neutral and repairs the damage you caused to someone's name, finances, family, or reputation. If the damage is still standing, there is still more repenting to do. Pastor Doug Lattimore preaches Psalm 2 with one reminder for everyone facing pushback: you are anointed for the opposition. Opposition isn't proof you're off course — it's often proof you've been chosen. Give / support the ministry: https://solofaith.org/giving Watch live with us: https://solofaith.org/watch Solo Faith Church Inc. is a digital-first ministry based in Concord, NC, reaching from the Carolinas to Kenya and Pakistan. Reading Psalm 2 from the Message Bible — "Why the big noise?" — Pastor Doug walks through God's invitation to "name it" and ask for the nations, why God's anointed should expect opposition, and how David was chosen and anointed even while overlooked by his own family. The same God who carried you before will carry you again. Opposition doesn't cancel the anointing; it confirms it.
