This week, we're VERY ANGRY (if only there were a better word... oh wait!) We're FURIOUS at how much we're enjoying Hulu's new crime show! Emmy Rossum is Agent Alice Black, and if she can keep it together, she might just catch one of the more interesting serial killers on TV. It's heavy subject matter, and much funnier than it should be (but that's to be expected from the creator of Dying For Sex...) Hear all about it, plus: An X-Men'97 FINALE?? My Adventures With Superman penultimate! New Ted Lasso! Nick watched something called PANTHEON and loved it!  Also - is that new REACHER? It is!! #Reacher #MyAdventuresWithSuperman #XMen97 #Pantheon #TedLasso 1:00-TV Diaries 8:36-25:15 My Adventures With Superman S03 25:15-38:05 X-Men 97 S02 38:05-45:58 Reacher S04 45:58-1:09:50 Ted Lasso S04 1:11:05- Furious

This week on the TV Dudes Podcast, Nick and Les are tackling the Netflix thriller with the ominous title: Something Very Bad is Going to Happen. While the middle of the season might meander a bit through the woods, we both agree that the ending sticks the landing in a major way! We discuss the pacing, the payoff, and why the destination was ultimately worth the cold feet. 0:50-36:50 TV Diaries 0:50-3:15 Daredevil Born Again 3:15-6:05 Invincible 10:55-13:42 Rooster 13:42-20:50 The Pitt 20:50-28:40 The Rookie 28:40-36:50 Monarch 38:00-Something Very Bad is Going to Happen

Plans change when TV is this good! We originally intended to dive into the eerie mysteries of Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen on Netflix, but then we saw the Paradise Season 2 finale. Nick and Les were so floored by the ending of Dan Fogelman's latest masterpiece that we had to pivot and give it the full deep dive it deserves. We break down those shocking final moments, the "Alex" of it all, and what that explosive ending means for a potential Season 3. Don't worry, we'll get back to the Netflix nuptials next week! In our TV Diaries, we're catching up on the medical chaos of The Pitt, the heart and humor of Rooster, and the Titan sized spectacle of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Plus, we have a few other surprises in the mix! Join the conversation and let us know your theories over at patreon.com/tvdudes

This week, Nick and Les are scrubbing in for the long-awaited return of Scrubs on ABC! We dive into the tenth season of the Sacred Heart saga to see how J.D. and Turk are handling the new class of interns. It is a heartfelt reunion that really hit the spot for us. In our TV Diaries, Les finally set sail with the One Piece live action series on Netflix and has some thoughts on why this adaptation actually works. Plus, we're checking the pulse on the high-stakes medical drama The Pitt, the intense underground world of Paradise, and the monster-sized legacy of Apple TV's Monarch. Join us as we figure out what makes these shows tick!

This week on the TV Dudes, Nick and Les are heading back to the 32nd century! We are diving deep into Starfleet Academy, a special Patreon Showrunner Tier request. We absolutely loved the fresh, optimistic energy of this new chapter in the Trek universe. It is a beautiful look at the next generation of cadets finding their footing, and we have plenty to say about that stunning production design. In our TV Diaries, Nick gives us the lowdown on the highly anticipated second season of One Piece on Netflix. Did the live-action Grand Line continue to thrill? We also break down the season finale of The Stumble on Peacock. It was a hilarious and surprisingly heartfelt finish for the Candy Buttons. Plus, Nick has a confession: he really wants to stop watching Invincible, but he's a masochist at heart. For our Dessert Shows, we're treating ourselves to the titan-sized action of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and the gripping bunker mysteries of Paradise. Both of these shows are hitting all the right notes for us lately! This week, Les and Nick jump into Paradise season 2 with that monster 3-episode premiere and the fourth ep out now as well! Does it hold up to the awesomeness of season 1? (Yes! So far, absolutely yes - start watching this show if you've not) We give you all our thoughts on Elvis, Sinatra, feral kids, Xavier's charm, and Jane. Oh, Jane. Somebody needs a breath mint. Plus, Paramount+ brought back all the procedurals to distract Les! Will it work? Obviously! #ParadiseHulu #ParadiseDisney #ParadiseWeDontKnowWhatToCallAnyStreamingServicesAnymore #IGuessTheyreAll #ParamountPlus

This week, Nick and Les are hitting the ice! We originally intended to dive deep into Netflix's Strip Law, but after checking out the premiere, it didn't quite make its case with us. It's certainly cute, but it left us feeling a bit "meh" - so we're breaking down exactly where the spark was missing. Instead, we are pivoting to a favorite: Shoresy Season 5! We enjoyed this season a whole lot, but the big question remains: does it glide as smoothly as the previous seasons, or is it starting to catch an edge? We talk about the evolution of the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs into the NOSHO North Stars, and whether the heart of the show is still beating as strong as ever. Plus, we've got our weekly TV Diaries featuring the shows that kept us glued to the couch this week. This week, we talk about The Rookie, and how it's really two sitcoms in a trenchcoat pretending to be a drama! 1:05-33:05 TV Diaries 10:00-20:12 The Rookie 20:12-33:05 Strip Law 34:00-Shorsey S05

This week, Nick and Les are heading to Ireland! We are diving deep into the new mystery-comedy from Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee, How to Get to Heaven from Belfast. We absolutely loved the sharp wit and chaotic energy of our three leads. It is a show that manages to be both hilarious and genuinely gripping, and we're breaking down why this specific blend of Irish humor works so well. In our TV Diaries, we're catching up on our eclectic weekly watches. Les took a detour into the woods with the new Adams Family horror film, Mother of Flies. It's a folk-horror trip that left him with plenty to talk about regarding atmosphere and those WTF moments the Adams family is known for. 1:05-13:00 TV Diaries 13:00-How to get to Heaven From Belfast #MotherOfFlies #HowToGetToHeavenFromBelfast

This week, Nick and Les tackle the high-octane world of HBO's Industry. While the showrunner pick didn't quite land for us, it sparked a fantastic, deep-dive discussion on what makes a workplace drama click and where this one lost us in the shuffle. We're breaking down the character dynamics and the relentless pace to figure out why this specific financial world felt a bit inaccessible this time around. In the TV Diaries, Nick takes us back to the beginning of the end with a The Walking Dead rewatch! It is a fascinating look at how the landscape of television has shifted since Rick Grimes first woke up in that hospital. #TheWalkingDead #IndustryHBO

This week, Nick and Les are bringing you a double feature that spans from the softest felt to the roughest wasteland. We are diving deep into the silly, joyful world of The Muppet Show special featuring Sabrina Carpenter! If you ever wondered if Sabrina's pop energy would mesh with a bunch of puppets, the answer is a resounding yes. We share our favorite sketches and why this felt like such a warm hug for long-time fans and newcomers alike. Then, is it curtains for Lucy? We wrap up our thoughts on the Fallout season finale! We had high hopes for this journey through the Vaults, and the finale mostly delivered. We discuss what we wanted, what we got, and where we think it's going in season 3. Plus, we open up our TV Diaries to discuss a few standout watches from our personal week!  Join us for a conversation that's all about finding the heart in every story, whether it's told by a frog or a ghoul. #Fallout #TheMuppets #TheMuppetShow #ThePitt

This week, we're heading to Hollywood with Simon Williams and a guy that looks REALLY familiar... That's right, it's the long-awaited drop of Marvel's WONDER MAN.  Les wasn't excited for this, but hot damn, it's a charming buddy comedy that won us over. Come hear all the reasons we fell for Trev and Simon, why DODC is a crappy SHIELD stand-in, and our hopes for another season of this weird little slice of MCU.  No diaries this week, so we'll catch up on those next episode.  #WonderMan #TrevorSlattery #SimonWilliams #TheTVDudes

This week on the main feed, Nick and Les head to Georgia to unpack the twisty new Netflix limited series His & Hers. We discuss the electric chemistry between Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal and try to figure out who we can actually trust when everyone is a suspect. For our TV Diaries, we share the other gems we have been binging lately. Then, we top it all off with our favorite part of the week: Dessert. We are returning to the wasteland for more Fallout on Amazon Prime. Can the Ghoul survive his fall? Will Lucy kill her Dad? We are hooked on this show!
