The Church in Laodicea
2026/10/18
The Church in Laodicea believes that they are standing rightly before God, yet they have drifted into a lukewarm Christianity. Jesus’ words are hard to swallow, but his discipline is given in love with a desire to see the drifting repent.
Sermon by Andrew Grills
The Church in Philadelphia
2026/10/11
The Church in Philadelphia appears to be one of weakness by all worldly standards, yet they are praised for their patient and faithful endurance for the sake of Christ. It is by the power of Jesus that Christians can hold fast and persevere in the face of opposition.
Sermon by Andrew Grills
The Church in Sardis
2026/10/04
The Church in Sardis is one that appears to be thriving and on fire for Jesus, but the truth is devastating - they are dead. We must never seek truth and life outside of the gospel of Christ, or fall into a sleepy Christianity. The ones who wake up and repent find their find secure in the book of life before the Lord.
Sermon by Matt Keller
The Church in Thyatira
2026/09/27
The Church in Thyatira has a group of people who are being led astray towards sexual immorality and idolatry. Jesus sees all hearts and minds, none are hidden from him, and he will give to each according to their works. His message is clear - repent, and hold fast to the truth.
Sermon by Andrew Grills
The Church in Pergamum
2026/09/20
The Church in Pergamum is situated in a place of great spiritual warfare and persecution, and though they hold fast to Jesus, the lies of false teaching are starting to creep in to the church. We need to remember that there is life only through Jesus, and not accept any other message.
Sermon by Dave Chiswell
The Church in Smyrna
2026/09/13
The Church in Smyrna is all too familiar with suffering for the sake of Christ, and Jesus warns that more is coming. Yet, perhaps uncomfortably, this suffering is a test of faith and to those who persevere belongs the crown of life. How will we respond to suffering for the name of Jesus?
Sermon by Dave May
The Church in Ephesus
2026/09/06
We begin a new series looking at what Jesus has to say to the Seven Churches of Revelation 1-3. They are churches with different people, different problems, but one powerful God. In these opening chapters of Revelation, Jesus is reminding each church to keep their eyes fixed upon him, holding firm to the truth of the Gospel as they live in difficult times. This week, Matt Keller preaches from Jesus' words to the Church in Ephesus - a church who has endured much, yet losing their first love. We need to fix our eyes on Jesus, never forgetting to come back to the reality of the Gospel in all we do. Repent, and eat from the tree of life.
Sermon by Matt Keller
Suffering
2026/08/30
Suffering is one of the most challenging realities of living in a fallen and broken world, one that will affect all of us in some way eventually. We might naturally question God's goodness or even his existence in times of suffering, so where is the hope? Ultimately we need to see that there is hope even in darkness because we have a God who deeply loves us, sending his Son Jesus as our suffering saviour, and who promises to make all things new.
Sermon by Andrew Grills
