Family on Mission | 1 Peter 2:9-12
2026/09/27
In the final week of Family Matters, Pastor Curt Taylor explores what it means for our families and our lives to have a greater purpose. God invites us to be part of something bigger than ourselves and to reflect His love in the way we live. When our faith shapes our everyday lives, even ordinary moments can become opportunities to make a meaningful difference. Rather than simply filling our schedules, we can live with intention and allow God to use us right where we are. Together, we’re called to be a family on mission, sharing the hope and love of Jesus with the world around us.
Why We Need Each Other | Ephesians 2:11-22
2026/09/20
God designed us to experience faith in community, not to walk through life alone. In Ephesians 2, Pastor Curt Taylor shows how Jesus brings those who were far from God near and tears down the walls that divide us. Through the cross, we are not only reconciled to God, but brought together as members of His family. While meaningful relationships can take time and sometimes feel uncomfortable at first, God uses community to help us face life’s joys and challenges together. When we take intentional steps toward connection, we can experience the kind of deep, lasting community God designed the church to be.
Joining God's Family | Colossians 1:12-14
2026/09/13
What does it really mean to be part of God’s family? In Week 5 of Family Matters, we discover that belonging to God’s family isn’t something we earn through good behavior, our upbringing, or simply going to church. Through Jesus, God rescues us from sin, forgives our debt, and invites us into His family through faith. Being adopted into God’s family gives us a new identity in Christ and changes the way we live. This message reminds us that no matter our past or family story, the invitation to experience new life and belong to God’s family is open to everyone.
When Family Hurts | Ephesians 2:1-3
2026/09/06
In Week 4 of Family Matters, Pastor Gary Thomas addresses the pain, confusion, and heartbreak that can come with parent-child relationships, especially when children grow older and families experience distance or division. He explores the powerful influences of the world, our spiritual enemy, and our own human nature while reminding parents that they are not solely responsible for the choices or faith of their children. Drawing from Scripture, Gary challenges the idea that perfect parenting guarantees a perfect outcome and encourages parents to release the guilt they may carry when a child chooses a different path. At the same time, he calls both parents and adult children to pursue forgiveness, grace, and reconciliation when it is healthy and wise. Ultimately, this message offers hope that even in the midst of family brokenness, the grace and power of Jesus can bring comfort, healing, and restoration.
Faithful Parenting | 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
2026/08/30
In Week 3 of Family Matters, Pastor Curt Taylor explores what biblical parenting looks like in a world filled with conflicting advice about raising kids. Rather than focusing first on who our children are becoming, he challenges parents to ask a more important question: Who am I becoming? Drawing from Deuteronomy 6 and 1 Corinthians 13, Pastor Curt shows how a growing relationship with God overflows into the ordinary, everyday moments of parenting. He explains that love sees the person, serves their good, and helps shape their future as parents move beyond simply managing behavior toward preparing their children for adulthood. Ultimately, healthy parenting begins with experiencing God’s love ourselves and allowing the Holy Spirit to help us reflect that same patient, kind, and faithful love to the next generation.
How to Love Your Spouse Well | Ephesians 5:21-33
2026/08/23
In Week 2 of Family Matters, Pastor Curt Taylor explores God’s design for marriage through Ephesians 5, challenging us to move from a consumer mindset to a covenant mindset. Rather than asking whether our spouse is meeting our expectations, biblical marriage calls husbands and wives to follow Jesus through humility, sacrifice, and a commitment to one another. Pastor Curt unpacks the often misunderstood ideas of submission and leadership, showing that both are rooted in putting Jesus first and seeking the good of your spouse. When husbands and wives take ownership of what they can change and ask what it looks like to love one another well, marriage can become a powerful picture of the gospel. Ultimately, a Christ-centered marriage is more than a relationship between two people; it’s an opportunity to show the world the sacrificial, self-giving love of Jesus.
Why Family Matters | Genesis 1:26-28
2026/08/16
In Week 1 of Family Matters, Pastor Curt Taylor explores why family has always been central to God’s design and how our families shape the people we become. From the opening chapters of Genesis, we see that family was God’s idea, created to form us through love, sacrifice, forgiveness, responsibility, and grace. But sin and selfishness bring brokenness into our relationships, often creating patterns that get passed from one generation to the next. The good news is that our family of origin may explain parts of our story, but it does not have to define our future because Jesus can redeem what is broken and give us new life. As we consider the legacy we've received and the one we're building, we're challenged to intentionally shape the people around us to know, love, and follow Jesus.
Giving It Away | 2 Corinthians 5:14-20
2026/08/09
In the final week of Everything’s Fine: The Lies We Tell Ourselves, Pastor Curt Taylor explores the final principle of the 12 Steps and the biblical call to share the transformation God has brought into our lives. Through 2 Corinthians 5, he reminds us that the gospel is not simply about changing our behavior, but about becoming a new creation through Jesus. True transformation reaches every part of our lives as we surrender our relationships, choices, habits, ambitions, and future to Christ. As people who were once dead but have been made alive, we are called to become ambassadors for Christ, sharing the hope and reconciliation we have experienced with the people around us. Pastor Curt closes the series with a challenge to consider what God has done in us, where we still need His transforming work, and who needs to hear the story of what He has done in our lives.
Path to Lasting Freedom | Colossians 3:8-12
2026/08/02
In Week 6 of the Everything's Fine: The Lies We Tell Ourselves series, Pastor Gary Thomas explores the power of ongoing spiritual growth through Steps 10 and 11 of the recovery journey. Rather than searching for a quick fix, he challenges us to take an honest inventory of our lives, recognize the patterns that keep us stuck, and intentionally pursue the habits that lead to lasting freedom. Drawing from Colossians, the Psalms, and practical recovery principles, Gary reminds us that real transformation happens as we stay connected to God day after day. He also reveals how our greatest victories come not simply from avoiding sin, but from cultivating a life centered on God's presence through prayer, worship, and obedience. Whether you're battling addiction, unhealthy habits, or everyday struggles, this message offers hope that freedom is found not in perfection, but in continually walking with Jesus.
Making Amends | 1 Peter 4:1-11
2026/07/26
Pastor Gary Thomas challenges us to move beyond focusing on the ways we've been hurt and instead take responsibility for the ways we've hurt others. Drawing from Steps Eight and Nine of the recovery journey, he shows how confession, forgiveness, and making amends are essential to restoring broken relationships and reflecting the love of Christ. Through powerful Biblical teaching and practical examples, this message reveals that the opposite of addiction is not simply sobriety but genuine connection rooted in love. As we shift from a life centered on "me" to one centered on "you," we discover the freedom, healing, and joy that come from living for others.
Surrendering Sin | Colossians 3:5
2026/07/19
In Week 4 of the Everything's Fine series, Pastor Gary Thomas challenges us to honestly examine the "rocks" we've been carrying, the addictions, habits, and character flaws that keep us from experiencing the freedom Jesus offers. Through the lens of Steps Six and Seven, he explains that real transformation begins when we become fully willing to surrender the things that are holding us back instead of simply managing them. Looking to Scripture, Gary reminds us that God's desire is not just to forgive our sin, but to reshape our hearts into people marked by compassion, kindness, humility, and love. This message encourages us to count the true cost of our sin, trust God's grace, and take the courageous step of letting go of what has been weighing us down. If you've ever struggled to break free from unhealthy patterns, this sermon offers practical hope and a powerful reminder that lasting freedom begins when we're willing to drop the rock.
From Hiding to Healing | Pastor Curt Taylor
2026/07/12
In week three of the Everything's Fine series, Pastor Curt Taylor challenges us to stop hiding behind the appearance that everything is okay and instead allow God to deal with what's happening beneath the surface. Looking at the biblical foundations of steps four and five, he shows how honest self examination and confession become the pathway to healing, not shame. Through the stories of Adam and Eve and the hope found in the Gospel, we discover that hidden sin doesn't stay hidden, but God's grace is always greater than our brokenness. This message reminds us that true freedom begins when we stop covering up our struggles and bring them into the light with God and trusted people. If you've ever felt trapped by guilt, fear, or the pressure to pretend, this message offers a practical and hope filled invitation to experience the healing only Christ can bring.
Declaration of Dependance | Pastor Harvey Carey
2026/07/05
Guest Speaker Pastor Harvey Carey continued the Everything’s Fine series by reminding us that healing begins when we stop pretending we are okay and admit our need for God. Using steps two and three, he invited the church to move from a declaration of independence to a declaration of dependence on the God who can restore, heal, and sustain us. Through personal stories of trauma, therapy, grief, and God’s faithfulness, Pastor Harvey showed that trusting God does not mean life has been easy, but that God has never failed him. He encouraged listeners to believe that God is the spark, surrender their will to Him, and rely on His strength to keep moving forward. This message is a powerful call to stop striving in our own strength and trust the God who brings freedom, renewal, and hope.
Breaking Free | Pastor Gary Thomas
2026/06/28
In week one of the Everything's Fine series, Pastor Gary Thomas challenges the lies we tell ourselves about the habits, struggles, and dependencies that quietly shape our lives. Looking through the lens of Scripture and the first step toward freedom, he reminds us that lasting change doesn't begin with trying harder—it begins with admitting our need for Jesus. This message invites everyone to honestly examine the areas where they may be settling for less than God's best while discovering the hope of His transforming grace. Rather than living in denial, we can experience the freedom Christ offers when we surrender control to Him. No matter where you are in your journey, this message is an encouraging reminder that God specializes in bringing new life where we once saw only brokenness.
Interview with Patrick Nix & Tez Johnson | Pastor Bronson Stewart
2026/06/21
In this special Father’s Day message, Pastor Bronson Stewart sits down with Patrick Nix and NFL wide receiver Tez Johnson to share a powerful story of faith, perseverance, and family. Tez reflects on a difficult childhood marked by hardship and uncertainty, while Patrick shares how a simple act of obedience to God changed the course of both of their lives. Through moments of struggle, sacrifice, and unwavering support, their story reveals how God faithfully pursues people and works through ordinary acts of love to accomplish extraordinary things. More than a story about football, this conversation highlights the transformative power of faith, community, and spiritual fatherhood. It’s an inspiring reminder that God can redeem any story and use it for His greater purpose.
