Never being 'thin enough' can lead you down the path to eating disorders. If only I had known my worth in Jesus, I could have avoided so many mistakes.

If you ever felt sad or frightened as a child growing up, you are not alone. I only wish I had known Jesus during those vulnerable years. I would have never felt so alone.

It was hard growing up knowing I didn't measure up to my mother's expectations. I wish I had realized that God was with me all along.

Harsh words can stay with a child their entire life. Be gentle with your words and thoughtful with your speech.

What was your childhood 'normal'? What would you like to remember and what would you like to forget?

We are just getting started! Follow me as we seek God's direction in our lives! This week is the book's introduction. More to follow! Stay tuned!

Remember that God will exalt your work when you are working for the sake of His people! Not for money, fame or fortune but for His people and His Kingdom to come!

A sample of my book written with you in mind. Praying that you will be blessed as I read a little each week. May all spoken and heard be for the glory of God!

The faith of David in the book of Samuel gave him the courage to stand up to the giant Goliath! David knew that God would protect him and fight for him! May we have that same faith in our lives!

Jesus taught us the important things of heaven. I learned that it is not in material things but in the souls we touch for His glory every single day.

God's Word is critical to remind us that He is still on the throne! He prohibits and allows! Our job is to have faith to believe that no matter what happens to us, He will be with us.

Six days God labored but on the seventh day, He rested. This is an example for us to honor Him by resting in Him on that day. Put down your cell phones. Stop scrolling on social media. Spend time in silence drawing closer to the One who created you and loves you enough to want you to rest!

No matter what happens on this earth, when you belong to Jesus, you will have divine protection right through the gates of heaven!

God has called each of us to expand His kingdom here on earth! He wants none to perish! Use your gifts! Follow your passion! Do not be afraid! Stand up! Do good and speak the truth in love!

The Bible tells us that dark days are ahead of us but we are to stand firm and continue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ! God wants none to perish! Do not be afraid! Do not shrink back! We have limited time on this earth and every day - every hour - every minute counts!
