Launching into a new series, Pastor Jake asks us, "How is My Relationship With Jesus?"

The Panel answers questions submitted by the church dealing with proteins, harm caused by the church, pain and problems, and MAID.

What is the Purpose of my life? Where will I go when I die? An applied scientist, and former atheist, wrestles with mortality – what happens when I die? Nothingness? Heaven? Hell? And what then does that say about the meaning and purpose of my life? How is it connected to whether God exists, whether Truth is real, whether the material world is all there is? What evidence & reason can inform the question of meaning and destiny, the biggest of The Big Questions of faith?

An applied scientist, and former atheist, describes how he struggled with the idea that this material world is not all there is, that there might be something else, something more, something NON-material. Is there any evidence for a non-material aspect to reality that can be found within our material world? And what does that say about me having a soul? About the possibility of miracles? The ramifications are staggering.

Morality – What is Truth? “There is no absolute truth … you live YOUR truth, I’ll live MY truth … a loving God would want me to be my authentic self.” Post-modernism is everywhere today – schools, media, online – and declares that all truth is relative. A former atheist explores post-modernism and compares it to the claims of the Bible on the topic of truth, and evaluates which has the best historical, philosophical, and practical validity … and comes to a startling conclusion on the nature of Truth.

Origin – Does God Exist? An applied scientist, and former atheist, describes how he discovered the relationship between evidence, reason, and faith; how he rejected blind faith and instead pieced together observations from the physical world to determine whether the evidence points to a universe begun and governed by random chance, or begun and held together by a Creator of some kind (and if so, what kind??).
