Faith Works: Faith Through Obedience
2026/10/25
This morning we look in the mirror of God’s Word and begin to grow in maturity by being quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, preparing our hearts for obedience, and in doing so showing that faith is not proven by what enters our ears but by what flows from our lives. Key Scriptures: James 1:2, James 1:13, James 1:19-27
2026-10-18: Faith that Perseveres in Trials and Temptation
2026/10/18
We face difficult issues each day. Walking through them can either do damage to our souls or strengthen our lives. As we begin the book of James lets learn the power of persevering faith and take practical steps that make us stronger. Key Scriptures: Luke 12:20, James 1:1, James 1:1-17, Romand 10:17, John 20:31, 1 Corinthians 15:14
Cutting Thru The Noise: Church Life
2026/10/11
Concluding our series “Cutting Thru The Noise”, today Pastor Chase teaches on “Church Life”. Summarization: Paul wrote all of 1 Corinthians to cut through the cultural and sinful noise—and to call the church in Corinth back to the gospel that Paul preached.  And It’s what we are doing for the Adventure church also. This letter was relevant to the church in Corinth and is relevant to Church Life here in Draper too. Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 16:1-24
Cutting Thru The Noise: The Resurrection Changes Everything
2026/10/04
Continuing our series “Cutting Thru The Noise”, today Pastor Kuulei teaches on “The Resurrection Changes Everything”.  1 Corinthians 15 is the definitive chapter on the resurrection, a doctrine that the believers in Corinth had a difficult time accepting because of their Greek roots and culture that considered bodily resurrection undesirable and absurd.  Paul wrote to the Corinthian believers in order to correct their errant perspective on what the resurrection of Jesus, and therefore, our resurrection as believers truly means. As modern day followers or Jesus, our living hope lies in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and we are called to find our identity and live by the same power and victory that raised Christ from the dead. Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:1-28,50-58
Praying Honest Prayers
2026/09/27
Today our Foursquare Associate Supervisor for the Western District, Pastor Grace Kladnik, visits to talk about “Praying Honest Prayers”. Teaching that God doesn't need me to edit my heart before I bring it to Him. Jesus made a way for us to approach freely and confidently and honestly.  Key Scriptures: 1 Samuel 1:1-20, Luke 22:42, Hebrews 4:15-16
Cutting Thru The Noise: What’s Love Got To Do With It?
2026/09/20
Continuing with our series “Cutting Thru The Noise”, today Joe Nettleton teaches on “What’s Love Got To Do With It?”.  Love comes in many forms. Love, or the lack of it can bring great blessing but also bring hurt. As we study 1 Corinthians Ch. 13 (the love chapter) we will identify the markers of what real love is and what it’s not, along with how this love looks in action. Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, 1 Corinthians 13:7, John 13:34-35, John 15:17, John 15:9-12, 1 John 4:19, Romans 5:5, Galatians 5:16, Galatians 5:22-23, John 15:10
Cutting Thru The Noise: Just the Way He Wants
2026/09/13
Continuing with our series “Cutting Thru The Noise”, today Pastor Ira teaches on “Just the Way He Wants ”. When you know who God created you to be and what you were made to do, it impacts the whole quality of your life not just your job. Some people never find this out and miss the quality of life that God hopes for each one of us. You are “fearfully and wonderfully made”.  Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 11:33a–12:31
Cutting Thru The Noise: My Big Fat Rehearsal Dinner
2026/09/06
Continuing with our series “Cutting Thru The Noise”, today Pastor Ira teaches on “My Big Fat Rehearsal Dinner”. As we study 1 Cor. 11:17-34 we come upon an important correction Paul brings to the church. With all the diversity of the believers, it is easy to not honor and care for each other. Paul uses the Lord’s Supper to show us His Kingdom way of Loving God and Loving People.  Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 11:17–34, Luke 20:46, Romans 12:16, Acts 20:35, Jeremiah 31:31–32, Psalm 139:23–24, Matthew 5:23–24
Resting In The Secret Place
2026/08/30
Today Pastor Jodi teaches on “Resting In The Secret Place”. In a stressful and anxiety-laden environment, Jesus gives us His promise that we can find true REST in His presence.  Key Scriptures: Matthew 11:27-30, 1 John 5:13,3, Exodus 20:8,11, Genesis 2:1, Psalm 62:5
Cutting Thru The Noise: Undivided Devotion
2026/08/23
Continuing with our series “Cutting Thru The Noise”, today Pastor Ira teaches on “Undivided Devotion”. When you come to faith in Christ, there is a very special process of surrendering the old ways that bring death and adopting the new ways that bring life. What are your questions for God on how to live and are you willing to live them out in undivided devotion to Jesus? Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 7:1-40, 2 Chronicles 16:9, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Matthew 19:4-6,8, 22:37-40, Galatians 5:14,3:28, 1 John 4:20, Ephesians 5:28, 2 Corinthians 6:14
Cutting Thru The Noise: The Vanishing Line
2026/08/16
Continuing with our series “Cutting Thru The Noise”, today Pastor Chase teaches on “The Vanishing Line”. How do we find the Holiness that Paul is challenging the church at Corinth to have, and the Holiness God wants from us?  We have to STOP walking so close to the Line between a life in God through his SPIRIT and a life living for ourselves in this world. I need to realize that I can’t do it on my own and cry out to God for his Spirit to live within me. Key Scriptures: I Corinthians 6:9-12, Romans 8:38-39,12:2,14:13, I Corinthians 5:6-8,6:12,18,10:23,31, II Timothy 1:7,2:22, I Peter 5:8-9, Ephesians 6:10-11,3:16-21, Matthew 6:19, Luke 11:28, James 1:21-25, I John 2:6,15-17,19-20,4:4, Hebrews 12:1, Colossians 4:5, Zechariah 4:6, Galatians 5:16, Philippians 4:13, Deuteronomy 31:6

Cutting Thru The Noise: A Cross Centered Life
2026/08/02
Continuing with our new series “Cutting Thru The Noise”, today Pastor Chase teaches on “A Cross Centered Life”. In an age of shrinking attention spans, the CROSS still works on HEARTS when it is embodied in lives.  When our WORDS and our WALK line up, people hear something different.  What looks like foolish to the world is, for us, freedom, hope, and a holy calling to serve.  Through his death and resurrection, Jesus offers eternal life; in the meantime, he trains us to live CROSS-SHAPED LIVES. Key Scriptures: I Corinthians 1:17-18,27-31, Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 15:13,12:2, Hebrews 6:19, Romans 8:28, I Corinthians 2:2, I Corinthians 15:1-3, II Corinthians 5:21

The Apostle Paul then begins to instruct them about how to walk in the unity of the Body of Christ that Jesus brought through His death and resurrection.  Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 1:1–17, Philippians 2:2, 1 Corinthians 3:1–4, Mark 3:24–25, Ephesians 4:3–4, John 17:20–23, Romans 16:17–18, Genesis 1:27
The Church As…The Catalyst
2026/07/19

Contrary to our cultural understanding, church is not a static entity that we join and observe, but a Catalytic agent of change that challenges us to grow, heal, and walk in His power.  Key Scriptures: Acts 4:32–33,13, 2:42,47, 5:41-42, Philemon 1:8, 1 Peter 4:10, Ephesians 2:4-5
