Courtney Gains: The Fake Knife Audition That Landed Children of the Corn Courtney Gains joins Keith Reza on Reza Rifts to talk Children of the Corn, the fake knife audition that won him Malachai, and Liberation Day, the new record from the Courtney Gains Group. Music comes first. He shows off the wall of guitars behind him, names the 1975 Ibanez his dad bought him for Christmas as the one he would never sell, and explains why he started acting lessons and music lessons in the same week at 13.
