Meanwhile following his audition for Von Kovak’s Wonder Man, his agent Jannelle calls him. The casting director for the movie wants to give him a shot in a smaller indie movie. It’s a bit part where he’ll play a waiter. All that’s needed is a quick self tape of his lines and he’s got the cameo. This will be great for his career, but the pressure gets to Simon and his powers rise, exploding out like an earthquake inside his apartment. Unable to use his apartment for the self tape, Simon reaches out to Trevor for help. After several more failed attempts Trevor brings him to his former co-star, Joe Pantaliano’s house as a favour. When Simon and Trevor clash with Joey Pants over his lack of respect for the art of acting they leave. With a new respect between the two, Simon invites Trevor to his apartment, where they finally record the perfect self tape and submit it to his agent. As Simon celebrates the successful submission Trevor finds the damage from his super powers but pretends it doesn’t phase him. Hulk fights off the zombies, Zombie Abomination, the giant-sized zombies, and the Asgardian Zombies before the group arrives to defend him, but they are soon overpowered.  With the arrival of a zombified Thor, he soon kills Blade, Sara, and the London Master as the overwhelming hordes also kill Shang-Chi, Katy, Valkyrie, Rintrah, Parker, and Lang.  Hulk unleashes a powerful blast to kill Thor, but it leaves him vulnerable and allows Wanda to take the stones' energy. Despite her initial refusal, Kamala is persuaded by Wanda to help her remake the world.  After a blinding explosion, Kamala wakes up and reunites with Riri and Kate, with everything seeming to have gone back to normal. However, reality flickers, and Kamala sees the real Riri fighting zombies, who tells Kamala she has hacked the system and that what she is seeing is not real, leaving Kamala shocked. They fight Thanos alongside Thor, Rocket, and Groot, but Thanos kills Rocket and Groot, gravely injures Thor, and attempts to snap the Infinity Gauntlet. T'Challa sacrifices himself to push Thanos into Wakanda's vibranium core and destroys the Infinity Stones while Parker and Lang are saved by the remaining sorcerers of Kamar-Taj: Rintrah, Sara, and the London Master.  In the present, Kamala's group reaches New Asgard, with Khonshu convincing Valkyrie to let them inside. The Asgardians have been feasting on food provided by Wanda herself, who explains that she has regained control and is actually after Kamala's powers to use them to "heal" the world.  But the food is revealed to be zombie remains that infect the Asgardians and Alexei, who also had a nibble. In the fight to escape the Asgardian zombie horde, the zombies kill Zemo, Death Dealer, and Jimmy Woo while Thor fights Wanda to buy time for the group to escape in an Asgardian ship into space.  Kamala activates the transmitter, but the already-stationed Nova Corps reveals that Earth has been quarantined and orders the group to turn back or be incinerated. When Shang-Chi is bitten, Wenwu bestows the mystical ten rings to Shang-Chi to contain the infection and sacrifices himself to give time for Death Dealer to help the group escape.  In the present, after fighting off Skrull bandits, Shang-Chi's group arrives at Helmut Zemo's sanctuary, the Raft, where they meet Kamala's group. Both groups agree to work together and Blade reveals that the spaceship to get the SOS transmission broadcast from Earth's orbit is located in New Asgard.  Along the way, Zemo attempts to sacrifice Kamala's group to the infected Talokanil for safe passage. Instead, a zombified Namor leads his people to attack the Raft while Zemo and John Walker attempt to flee in an escape pod. Namor kills Walker, Rick, Denise, and Sandra before Kamala kills him with the group's help.  When the Raft begins to sink, Yelena sacrifices herself and stays behind to manually override the launch of the last remaining escape pods. The group successfully escapes and travel to New Asgard, while Yelena toasts her fallen allies before the zombies break in and devour her brains. On the return to Wakanda with the artifact, an unknown high-tech entity phases in front of the vehicle driven by Kuda. While initially perceived as a threat they discover the entity is in fact a future Wakandan Queen who has teleported to their time to save Wakanda and the earth from an invading alien army called The Horde. The Queen informs them that the dire situation confronting her time is because Wakanda never integrated into the wider world and so The Horde picked off humankind followed by Wakanda. This resulted from a hinge point created by Killmonger who, ultimately through his intervention to secure and lose the Wakandan throne, convinced the true heir, King T’Challa, to engage with the outside world. Armed with this information and convinced she is telling the truth, Prince Tafari and Kuda head back to the City of Adwa to return the axe and so set up the chain of events leading to its theft (or repatriation) by Killmonger from the British Museum. In explaining their actions to the Wakandan Council, Prince Tafari’s only regret is that he wishes he could have seen the future that he and Kuda fought for! Derek and John are back for another tale of the War Dogs with Eyes of Wakanda Episode 3 "Lost and Found" and look who is in the snowy mountains of China. We chat all about it in our spoiler filled discussion of the episode. Eyes of Wakanda Episode 3 "Lost And Found" DetailsExecutive Producer: Ryan Coogler Series helmed by: Todd Harris Episode Written by: Marc Bernardin Episode Directed by: John Fang & Todd Harris Spoiler Filled Synopsis: In Kun’Lun, China, 1400, Agent Basha infiltrates this high mountain society to recover a Wakandan artifact lost for over a thousand years. Pretending to be a lost traveller he is taken in and cared for by a woman called Jorrani. During his recovery he is drawn into the community by Jorrani and they develop feelings for one another. At the city's Dragon shrine Basha and Jorrani take time to offer meditation at the city’s sacred Dragon statue where he spots the artifact as the tongue of the dragon. But after several weeks, Basha, now back to full health, attempts to quietly recover the artifact but he can not remove it from the statue and has to take the entire head. He manages to escape Kun’Lun in his hidden flying craft despite being caught stealing the sacred object. Back in Wakanda, he is greeted by Captain Evo, head of artifact security, who is concerned that the intel for this mission was off. But Basha arrogantly flaunts how easy the mission was and how primitive he saw the people of Kun’Lun. But as Basha and Ebo replace the artifact they suddenly realise that he has brought back an unexpected visitor from Kun’Lun who has infiltrated Wakanda. Basha finally catches up with the masked infiltrator who has made their way to the artifact collection to return the sacred Dragon to Kun’Lun. As they fight it is revealed to be Jorrani who is none other than Kun’Lun’s protector - the Iron Fist. Deploying her powerful glowing fist, Jorrani manages to finally get Basha’s attention where he learns that the people of Kun’Lun had not knowingly stolen the Wakandan treasure and that in fact over the last 1000 years the Dragon and the artifact has become a more important and sacred symbol to her city and society than it ever was to Wakanda. Knowing this Basha and Ebo concoct a story to hide Jorrani’s presence in Wakanda and in turn Jorrani plucks the tongue from the statue's head saying if Basha had only asked she would have helped. The Iron Fist returns to Kun’Lun with the Dragon head and Basha learns humility. The history of the war dogs takes us to Troy in Eyes of Wakanda Episode 2 "Legends and Lies". This episode gave us a very interesting take on Achilles and Odysseus as a Wakandan spy infiltrates their ranks to reach Helen and Paris. Eyes of Wakanda Episode 2 "Legends and Lies" DetailsExecutive Producer: Ryan Coogler Series helmed by: Todd Harris Episode Written by: Marc Bernardin Episode Directed by: John Fang Spoiler Filled Synopsis: In 1190 B.C., the famous attack on the heavily fortified City of Troy by Odysseus is taking place. Each attack is repulsed by the Trojan forces, even those led by the legendary Achilles and his band of Myrmidons. After another failed attempt to storm Troy, Achilles and his trusted friend and right hand man Memnon collect their thoughts around the campfire. Despite the deep brotherhood between Achilles and Memnon, Ferris, another member of the Myrmidons, is suspicious of Memnon who is an outsider. Despite Achilles' trust in Memnon, little does he know that Memnon is a War Dog from Wakanda. He is at the siege of Troy to recover a Wakandan pendant from around the neck of Helen of Troy. As the Myrmidons, led by Achilles, attempt another attack on Troy this time using Odysseus’ Trojan Horse tactic. They successfully infiltrate the city and let the rest of the Greek army in to attack. But the alarm is raised and in the ensuing battle Achilles sees Memnon peel away towards the palace as he is surrounded by the Trojan forces and left for dead. Memnon recovers the purple amulet but is seen by Achilles who escaped the Trojans. Achilles believes he's been betrayed and that Memnon is in fact a Trojan spy. They fight one another and following blow after blow between the two Memnon cuts his friend’s heel. Despite slowing Achilles down, Memnon cannot convince his friend to stand down and as the fight rages Achilles is killed by Memnon who places the coins on his friends eyes for the ferryman. Six months later, back in Wakanda, B’Kai (aka Memnon) tells the leader of the War Dogs, Noni, that the mission to Troy has left its mark and he feels like a stranger in his own home as he remembers his deceased friend, Achilles. If these items fall into the wrong hands they could pose a danger to the world. Noni battles and confronts The Lion but she is blinded in the fight. He refuses to return to Wakanda and sets an explosion which sends all the Wakandan artifacts to the bottom of the Aegean Sea. Noni returns to Wakanda and is offered a place back in the Dora Milaje. When Noni refuses, Akeje offers her membership of The War Dogs. A secret society with the purpose of keeping Wakandan tech out of the hands of the rest of the world for as long as it takes.
