Scream 3
2026/09/15
Cassie’s back so we can give our highly-anticipated thoughts on 2000s Scream 3 (as a reminder, the episodes about the first 2 movies aired in the olden days of October 2019)! One thing we're sure of? We 3 Parker Posey! Are we equally as certain that Sidney's "off the grid" life is more than 50 miles from Woodsboro? Well...
The Cable Guy
2026/08/15
If you've always wanted us to do a radio-style reenactment of a movie, you're in luck! We watched 1996s "The Cable Guy," which happens to be one of the loves of Jason's life so he is able to perfectly monologue several scenes. 😂 Along with this performance, you'll also hear us all agree that Jim Carrey's Chip "This concludes our broadcast day!" Douglas is crazy... but definitely not the villain.
Spider-Man
2026/07/15
Go, pod, go!🤘 We're feeling silly on this one, but maybe that's just because 2002s "Spider-man" makes us feel so safe. Yes we make fun of it A LOT, but this time it's truly out of love and respect for the movie that started Bryant's love of superhero movies, reignited Jason's, and Samantha remembers fondly watching on an early 2000s car DVD player.
Dazed & Confused
2026/06/15
We are so in agreement over how great 1993s "Dazed and Confused" is that this episode probably holds the record for most on-mic "Mm-hmm"s! For the sake of making it interesting, we sprinkled in some light debates over what town this probably takes place in, how old creepy Matthew McConaughey (his character) is supposed to be, and who are the most worthy Prom King and Queen... but on that last one we still see the appeal of each other's picks. We just keep it real mellow, man.
The Good Son
2026/05/15
We're talking about probably Kid Cudi's favorite movie, 1993s "The Good Son." It may have broken Bryant's brain a little bit 😅Along with hearing your thoughts about Macaulay Culkin's performance, please also email us your theories about what happened to these characters' lives after the credits rolled!
A Knight's Tale
2026/04/20
Huzzah! Prithee! Our collective take on 2001s “A Knight’s Tale” is confusion! We’re confused about why 12-year-old Samantha wasn’t obsessed with it, about whether or not Heath Ledger’s short hair could be styled more than one way, and about who all wanted to kiss Heath Ledger. It wasn’t the worst of times, it wasn’t the best of times… the references in this description are all over the place 🤷🏽♀️
The Princess Diaries
2026/03/26
It's Samantha's birthday month, so she picked 2001s "The Princess Diaries," which was a surprise hit with the whole group! 🥳 But of course that doesn't mean that we didn't find ridiculous things to comment on... the school, the quality of the heartthrobs, and Mia's overall support system. The sound quality is not the best on this one and we hope to have it fixed next month, but we hope you can still enjoy listening! And remember – never be a Lily, always be a Joe.
Mrs. Doubtfire
2026/02/17
Welcome to our looooong discussion over 1993s hilarious-hijinks-movie-that-wait-what-is-actually-devastating-as-an-adult-and-we-never-want-to-watch-again, "Mrs. Doubtfire." Robin Williams, you are so talented and it was as impressive and funny as ever to watch your impressions. We wish you could have saved these kids from Daniel, Miranda, Stu, basically anyone but Uncle Frank and Aunt Jack.
Rookie of the Year
2026/01/15
It's 2026, which means it's been 33 years since 1993s "Rookie of the Year!" This is the first time Samantha and Bryant have seen this movie, so can you guess whether they as adults enjoyed it more than when Jason watched it when he was 13? 😂 Please enjoy our ridiculous commentary, including our thoughts on Henry's critical blabbermouth grandma that we never meet.
Elf
2025/12/22
Happy December! Our episode on 2003s “Elf” may be one of the most wholesome ones we’ve ever done, and I don’t know what it says about our brand that it’s also one our shortest. We hope listening to the three of us agree on what we like about a movie is a peaceful way to end the year, but if not I’m sure we’ll have plenty to disagree on in 2026. Happy Holidays!
Halloweentown
2025/11/15
It's two IKWYWIT90S firsts - a BRAND-NEW special guest AND our first/(maybe last?) DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie)! It may also be one of the episodes in which we most equally discuss the good (Grandma's bag, Sophie, the concept of Halloweentown); the bad (the execution of Halloweentown, Marnie and Dylan's teenage-ness); and the ugly (apparently "handsome" Luke). This one's unapologetically for all of our 1998 mortal-kids-wishing-they-were-witches!
The Ring
2025/10/15
Some lessons from our episode about 2002s "The Ring":
- Bryant doesn't like scary movies.
- You can't convince us that Aidan wasn't haunted, and potentially a butler.
- Today's PG-13 movies are not trying hard enough to be as good as "The Ring."
- Saying "that's what makes it scary" is a good way to justify not understanding why something is happening.
- This is a good scary movie... and Bryant doesn't like scary movies.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
2025/09/18
It might be a good thing that Jason didn't join the conversation about 1995s "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" because we're not sure how well he would have handled listening to the rest of us gush about this cool movie with its cool soundtrack and cool skydiving moves and COOL NINJA RANGERS. Even if you don't agree, hopefully you'll still support our petition for a prequel about Zordon, Ivan Ooze, and Dulcea's history.
Cool as Ice
2025/08/21
We would all pay good money to know the when and how it was decided we would watch 1991s "Cool as Ice," but also we're not mad at it 😂 We ARE full of questions such as, what amount of time does this movie span? Is it or is it not supposed to be Vanilla Ice? What's up with tomorrow?
A Goofy Movie
2025/07/16
Do we see "I 2 I" or does someone "Stand Out" from the group? "Nobody Else But You" will find out if "After Today" we're still willing to trust each other "On the Open Road" of cinema. We do agree that our discussion is more enjoyable than "Lester's Possum Park."
