Then Suede takes aim at the New York Times' ranking of the best TV shows of the 21st century, questioning everything from Scandal and Chappelle's Show being ranked too low to some major omissions.

The Internet Is Killing Creativity | The Unemployment Line
2026/10/01
This week on The Unemployment Line, The Dok and Larry P discover that you can learn a lot about somebody by looking inside their microwave. That kicks off a conversation about the difference between actually cleaning and just straightening up, childhood creativity, why everything on social media eventually becomes the same trend, and whether we've become too obsessed with producing a perfect final product.
Things get much more serious as the guys discuss war and foreign conflicts, mental health and accountability, the Lindsey Clancy case, and the unanswered questions surrounding Nolan Wells' death in Mississippi. Then they lighten things back up with TV reboots and spinoffs before diving into AI, creativity, misinformation and the growing number of people who are beginning to treat chatbots like actual friends. By the end, one thing is clear: AI might know entirely too much about us.

How much should someone’s past matter when you’re considering a future with them? On this episode of The Good Ole Boys Radio Show, THE! Mario Washington, Q. Kittles, Black Trump and Gran Wiz break down the “relationship resume,” from previous relationships and sexual history to divorce, children, emotional baggage and the red flags that can follow someone into something new.
The crew debates whether the infamous “numbers conversation” really matters, how much people should reveal about their dating history, what divorce and kids mean when dating later in life, and the difference between learning from someone’s past and judging them by it. Ultimately, does the past predict the future, or does how someone has grown from it matter more?

Terrible Classics: Bébé’s Kids
2026/09/17
It’s another Terrible Classics edition of The Unemployment Line, and this time The Dok and Larry P revisit the 1992 animated cult favorite Bébé’s Kids. What starts as a trip down memory lane turns into a hilarious examination of Robin Harris, Jamika, the kids from hell, questionable first-date decisions, and one very important question: Who exactly was this movie made for? Along the way, the guys look back at just how different growing up in the ’90s really was, from VHS tapes and pay phones to parents having absolutely no idea where their kids were for hours at a time. Plus, they imagine what Bébé’s Kids could have become as an animated series before finally deciding whether the movie deserves to be called terrible or a classic.

Scam Likely | Good Ole Boys
2026/09/15
On Scam Likely, THE! Mario Washington, Q. Kittles, Black Trump and Gran Wiz dive into the wild world of scammers, fake identities and people selling fantasies that are just believable enough to work. From a man allegedly posing as an NFL player to fake college credentials, romance scams, bogus job offers and their own close calls, the crew asks why people fall for scams and whether any of us are really too smart to get got.
It’s funny until the money disappears. The guys break down the red flags, the pressure tactics and the role the internet plays in making deception easier than ever, ultimately landing on one simple truth: every scam needs somebody willing to sell the fantasy and somebody willing to buy it.Don't forget to subscribe and share!

2026/09/11
The LA Clippers are facing a massive scandal, and Big Daddy Suede breaks down the alleged salary-cap circumvention involving Kawhi Leonard, the fallout for the organization, and what it could mean for the NBA going forward. Plus, DaBaby enters the restaurant business with a new chicken-and-waffles spot in Charlotte, and Suede examines the growing debate over high-tech license-plate cameras: are they making communities safer, or are we giving up too much privacy in the name of security?

Stop Following People Blindly | The Unemployment Line
2026/09/10
This week on The Unemployment Line, The Dok and Larry P are trying to figure out how 2026 keeps finding new ways to outdo itself. The guys start with Target landing back in controversy and debate boycotts, offensive imagery, Black history, generational trauma, and why some companies may have lost the benefit of the doubt with Black consumers.
Then the conversation goes everywhere, from the internet's reaction to celebrity deaths to blind loyalty in politics and relationships, and why putting anyone on a pedestal can become dangerous when you're no longer willing to admit they're wrong. The guys also discuss Gary, Indiana's extended power outages after severe weather, government disaster response, and why communities shouldn't have to depend on celebrities and private citizens to step in when help is needed. And somehow, before it's all over, they end up debating the Rapture, weather conspiracies, a Jamaican lobster in The Little Mermaid, and whether the Earth is flat. In other words, it's another perfectly normal episode of The Unemployment Line.

From Coyote vs. Acme to the Wildest NFL Scam | Giant Robot Radio
2026/09/04
Coyote vs. Acme finally makes it to the big screen, and Big Daddy Suede dives into the movie, its long road to release, and the irony of a story about corporate greed nearly becoming a casualty of corporate decision-making itself. Then Giant Robot Radio shifts from animation to real-world headlines with the devastating flooding in Nepal and the bizarre case of an alleged fake San Francisco 49ers player accused of scamming women.
The episode closes on a more personal note with a tribute to longtime Optimus Prime voice actor Peter Cullen, reflecting on his career, the lasting impact of Optimus Prime, and the message of strength, compassion and leadership Cullen brought to one of animation's most iconic characters.

Cancel Your Subscriptions! | Unemployment Line
2026/09/03
This week on The Unemployment Line, The Dok and Larry P start with a question every longtime customer has probably asked: why do companies give their best deals to everybody except the people who've been loyal for years? From Sam's Club and SiriusXM to Netflix and forgotten subscriptions, the guys break down why sometimes the only way to get a company to appreciate you is to threaten to leave. That somehow leads to unlimited PTO, working from home and whether most people really need eight hours to finish an eight-hour workday.
Then things get complicated when the conversation turns to relationships, "hyper-independence" and the idea of women wanting to enter their "soft girl era." Can you spend years building a life where you don't need anybody and then expect another person to step in and lead? The Dok and Larry P debate modern gender roles, vulnerability, expectations and why neither person should be the prize—the relationship itself should be the prize.
Finally, a reported cocaine operation involving Penn State students and fraternity members sends the show completely off the rails. The guys debate accountability when pledges participate in criminal activity, why the situation was treated differently from drug busts they've seen elsewhere, and arrive at perhaps the most important lesson of the episode: if you're going to commit crimes, stop doing crimes with idiots.
