In the School of Sacred Embodiment, we believe that the gift of grace is not only something we can muster but also, in its highest form, a divine force. Today, we explore grace as an unstoppable channel that, once accepted, will come through with every opportunity it can to provide closure, release, and healing wherever needed.  Throughout the episode, you will hear personal anecdotes and beautiful stories that demonstrate the active presence of grace in daily routines, from encountering Earth Angels to experiencing moments of profound healing. We also discuss various practices for cultivating grace, such as movement, being with nature, and embodying The Divine Mother archetype. Ep 453: Boundaries and Alchemizing Anger
2024/02/05
So often, boundaries are misunderstood as a negative form of control rather than a structure that invites self-awareness, establishes healthy relationships, and highlights our true passions. In today's episode, we dive into the significance of anger as a source of information that reveals our boundaries, needs, and the necessary steps in our healing journey.  Plus, we explore The Warrior Goddess archetype and how it can help us alchemize our anger to fuel transformative action towards what truly needs to be defended or protected. By facing uncomfortable truths and taking action for the things we care about, we can learn from the wisdom of The Warrior Goddess and better ourselves in the process.  In episode 453 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss: (3:31) Why we cannot avoid negative realities or evade the truth within our spiritual communities  (8:55) How to address systems of oppression in communities and focus on collective liberation over individual comfort  (11:22) The Warrior Goddess archetype in the context of the Wild Soul Archetypes (15:58) Recognizing and addressing your anger to reveal your boundaries and purpose  (20:28) A prayer for using words wisely, acknowledging their power, and protecting your energy  Resources mentioned in the episode: Wild Soul Sunday Service  Join the Reweave Membership Waitlist Book a 1:1 Root Work Session Jonathan Louis Dent Post Work with me:  NEW! Ep 449: Healing Conversations with Cynthia McGrath

Ep 448: The Sacred Power of Curiosity
2023/12/11
It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed when witnessing the atrocities currently unfolding in our world. It's also easy to give in to external pressures, like those on social media, and conform to expectations that encourage us to mistreat each other. In this episode, Elizabeth dives into performative activism, platform policing, and embracing the sacred power of curiosity.  She also discusses how to respond to and approach these issues with humility and an open mind, much like that of a loving parent, so you can access genuine curiosity in line with your soul’s wisdom. Imagine how different the world would be if our capacity for reverence was larger than our capacity for despising things? What if we could approach those who hold different perspectives than us with an effort to understand instead of jumping to anger and judgment? In episode 448 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss: (3:52) Social media's role in activism during crises and our recommended voices to follow  (6:42) Advice for attending to your personal energy and soul's wisdom when navigating social and political issues (9:01) The importance of curiosity to empathize with others' perspectives (12:31) Embracing the sacred power of curiosity by asking questions and doing self-reflections  (18:23) Using curiosity, humility, and reverence as tools to bridge gaps in understanding  Resources mentioned in the episode: Wild Soul Sunday Service  Sacred Shift @jewishvoiceforpeace  @thestoriedayrab  @accordingtoweeze  @fredtjoseph  @nishamoodley  A Brief for the Defense by Jack Gilbert Work with me:  NEW!
