Tom Segura & Bert Kreischer Experience Black Jack With Taylor Lewan + Big Game Reaction
2024/02/13
Recorded: February 8th 2024 | In this weeks episode, Will hits the intro solo dolo and recaps the Super Bowl from this weekend. He recaps the biggest moments from the game like Travis Kelce bumping Andy Reid, Mecole Hardman's game winning touchdown, Mahomes doing Mahomes things, plus other key plays from the game. Will also raises the question, is the reason Mahomes is so good because of Andy Reid? Let us know your thoughts. Following the intro we have our first interview from our time in Vegas. This weeks guests are our two favorite bears, from the 2 Bears 1 Cave podcast, Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura. The boys start off the pod with the energy high as Bert and Tom brought Will and Taylor a little treat. It takes them a while to get to the treat because they go on to talk about the blackjack tournament that Bert and Tom put on. The guys recap the whole tournament and get into how much fun it is to be on the table with the fellas. Everyone ended up winning as well which helped the vibes even more. The guys then get into some real conversations as Taylor brings up how good Bert looks. Bert talks about how when he was at Beer Olympics, he felt and looked terrible. His feet were swollen, his fingers were swollen, he couldn't get his ring off his finger, he just didn't like the way he felt. Bert decided to make a change and went sober for 3-4 months and lost 40-50 lbs in doing so, he looks great now. Then Tom brings up how it is okay to be happy in the profession that you're and it's okay to show it off. Tom defends Bert because of how much hate Bert gets for taking pics on a private plane or in front of the massive crowd he just performed for. It's how Bert lives his life and if that bothers you, that's okay as well. The boys and bears get into some real conversations while at the same time having some great laughs. This is an overall feel good pod that we know you'll enjoy. Big Cat On The "Beef" Between Chicago And New York + The Start Of Pardon My Take
2024/02/12
Recorded: February 5th 2024 | In this week's episode we sit down with the one and only Dan "Big Cat" Katz. The boys are out in Vegas for the Big Game and decide to chop it up with Big Cat for an episode. The guys start off the show talking about the Big Game and who they are rooting for. Big Cat gets into how there is one NFL that just somehow owns him and ruins his bets whenever he bets against this guy. Then Will turns into Billy Basketball as he has become a fan of Nebraska Basketball even though he has no idea how the basketball landscape works. Will and Taylor then turn the focus to more of the nitty gritty about the inner workings of Barstool. Big Cat tells the story of how he started at Barstool and how he originally found Barstool Sports in the first place. The guys then get into how Pardon My Take started and how it was actually terrible when it first started. It is interesting to hear how a top 3 sports podcast in the world has gone through so many different types of growing pains. The guys finish up by talking about the move to Chicago and the rivalry that is going on between them and New York. Big Cat talks about how he doesn't necessarily like the stigma of their being a rivalry because he doesn't see it that way. The difference is in the type of content that is being put out by both offices. This episode is a great look behind the curtains of Big Cat as a person and his rise to stardom in the Barstool Sports/Sports Media world. Enjoy Fellas. (Also we understand the audio quality isn't up to par, we are working behind the scenes to make sure this doesn't continue in our other Vegas interviews) TIMESTAMP CHAPTERS 0:00 Intro 2:25 Big Cat Is Owned By This NFL Player 4:12 Introducing, Billy Basketball 8:35 Taylor’s WILD Fan Take 17:55 Why Big Cat Loves Podcasting 21:01 Big Cats Start With Barstool And The Growth 33:05 The Start of Pardon My Take 43:49 Barstool’s Worst Hire 45:13 The “Barstool Difference” 46:06 Big Cat Got Mad At The Boys 51:11 “Gambling Is Impossible” 57:36 Barstool Chicago (vs. Barstool New York) 1:07:45 Chicken Or Orangutan? The boys start off the episode addressing some of the stories that Christian told us during last years Super Bowl. Is Patrick Mahomes Now The Goat? + Stu Feiner's Insane Gambling Life
2024/01/30
Recorded: January 24th 2024 | In this week's episode we are joined by the man, the myth, the legend, Stu Feiner. He blessed us with his presence on Slips & Picks and following that, he hopped on the bus to chat with the boys. This whole pod really feels like story time Uncle Stu. The guys immediately get into it and start all the way from the beginning. Stu gives his life story from where he grew up, the struggles he had as a kid by getting bullied in school and the tough home life he had with his family. He gets into some crazy stories from his childhood and it seemed like he had some wild story from each grade growing up. Following his childhood, he dives into how he got into the sports gambling world and became the biggest sports picker in the country. Stu talks about why he decided he wanted to get into the gambling world and all of the different roadblocks that he ran into on his way to the top. He talks about how many lucky breaks he has had but also gets into the massive unlucky breaks he had, some including missing out on 10's of millions of dollars. As he is telling these stories from back in the day, you can't help but visualize everything that is happening and it almost makes it feel like he was a part of an old gangster/mafia movie. Some of the stories he gets into just seem unbelievable but they are most certainly true. Finally the guys get into the movie that was made about Stu "Two For The Money". He talks about the backstory in that movie getting made and how never saw anything from the movie, he wasn't even allowed to be at the premiere of the movie. After this interview, you can't help but think Stu is one of the most interesting people alive. Michael Chandler Says He Will "Decapitate" Conor McGregor + Doing Things Outside Of The UFC World
2024/01/23
Recorded: January 9th 2023 | In this weeks episode, the boys are in Orlando to shoot a Sandbagger with the Spittin Chiclets guys. It is a shorter intro as the boys recap the NFL Divisional round from this past weekend. They spend the majority of the time talking about the Chiefs-Bills game as Will thinks the game was rigged in favor of the Chiefs. They also preview the Conference Championship games where it'll be the Lions vs. 49ers and the Chiefs vs. Ravens. The boys make a case for each time as to how they can make it to the Super Bowl. Following the intro, we sit down with one of the OG boys, Michael Chandler. Some massive news has come out of the UFC as Conor McGregor will be finally returning to the Octagon and his opponent will be, the boy Michael Chandler. He gets into the whirlwind of the last couple months for him dealing with Conor, the UFC and trying to nail down a date for this fight to happen. The guys get into the entire USADA drug testing process and why that was such a problem before along with what weight class they believe the fight will be at. Chandler wants it to be at 185 because he says it gives him is an advantage since he is more naturally at that weight. Mike gives his predictions on how he believes this fight will go, how many rounds, his game plan and they way he is going to break McGregor down. You can't help but feel a little juiced up after hearing what he has to say. They boys also get into some of the things that Chandler does outside of fighting. Mike hasn't fought in over a year but that doesn't mean he hasn't stayed busy. He just became a partner in Hiatus Tequila and he gets into the process behind the tequila business. He has some choice words about some other fighters alcohol that is out there, hint: it's an Irish whiskey. Chandler gets into how his entire life does not surround fighting, he isn't one of those guys who relies on a paycheck from the UFC as he is involved in more than just fighting. The boys finish the pod off answering another one of Mitch's terrible twisted questions and then get into the movie talk. We all know these three guys get along very well so it just feels like they are hanging out chopping it up. 2024/01/18
The Playoffs ROLL ON and two of our analysts delivered incredible results. Last week, The Mule (Delanie Walker) and Chet Savage (Taylor Lewan) finished with a phenomenal record of 10 wins and only two losses. And to celebrate their success, each analyst enjoyed a refreshing Twisted Tea. Meanwhile, William Gekko (Will Compton) finished with a respectable 7-4 record in Super Wild Card Weekend. Here is where we sit after 19 weeks of football: Chet: 136-125-1 (51.9%) Gekko: 135-107-1 (55.6%) Mule: 149-105 (58.7%) This Week’s card puts the number one seeds back in play: Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens host rookie sensation C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans. Will the Texans have enough firepower to upset the Ravens? The Boys, Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, and the San Francisco 49ers will play host to Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. The 49ers have spent much of the season at the top of the league. Will the Packers be able to go toe-to-toe? In a matchup nobody expected, Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions won their first playoff game in decades and are now set to host a spicy Tampa Bay Buccaneers team led by Baker Mayfield And in what seems like an annual playoff event, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes will meet again. Derrick Henry's Future In The NFL + How Close He Was To Being Traded
2024/01/17
In this week's episode we sit down with not only one of the boys but also the King, Derrick Henry. Derrick and the Titans just finished up their season and there are a lot of question marks surrounding Derrick's future with the team. So where else would he want to talk about his future than with the boys. Derrick and the guys first get into a lot of reminiscing from the last couple years on the team including times from Will was on the team. They talk about their run's that they had in 2019 and 2020. The game they had in Baltimore and how wild the atmosphere was, the game they had in Kansas City where Mahomes had that crazy run going into halftime. Some of the stories that the guys tell really just give you that vibe of a couple of old guys just reflecting on the good ole days. Following the reflection period, Will and Taylor ask him the question that everybody wants to know, what does the future look like for Derrick Henry? Derrick doesn't necessarily have an answer for that question. The biggest thing he was harping on was that he wants to win a Super Bowl and he isn't sure if that's a possibility with Tennessee. Derrick also gives us a glimpse into the crazy time period when everyone thought he was going to get traded. Overall, it's a great convo with a lot of reflection on some good times as well as looking to the times ahead. Michigan Wins CFP National Championship + Titans Fire Mike Vrabel
2024/01/10
Recorded: January 9th 2023 | On this weeks episode, it's just the boys again and Taylor is feeling good after Michigan won the National Championship last night. Taylor talks about how ecstatic he is for all the boys on the Michigan team and how this has been the most stressful season of football he has ever been apart of. Will and Taylor then get into whether or not Jim Harbaugh will be staying at Michigan. Everybody seems to think he is leaving but let us know what you think. Following the Championship game recap, the guys get into the NFL Playoffs that are now set. Will and Taylor go through each game and give their predictions as to who's going to win. They also give their thoughts on who they think is going to make it to the Super Bowl, Will's selection makes you think he has no idea what he's talking about. As soon as the boys finished recording, the news broke that Tennessee Titans Head Coach, Mike Vrabel got fired. So the boys came back on the bus to give their immediate reactions to him getting fired. Needless to say neither of them were happy because of all of the circumstances that have surrounded the Titans these last couple years. The boys reminisce on some of the memories they had with Vrabel as well as the direction they think team is headed in after his firing. It was feel good pod up until the end where the boys had to address Vrabel.
