We recorded with @thesleeveddietitian and boy did we have a blast talking about her journey to become a dietitian AFTER she had weight loss surgery! She also talks about her T.R.I.B.E Program and how she created a whole program to give support and almost every professional has had weight loss surgery! We checked in with Jeremy on his 6 months postop! He had some massive life changes like moving to a new state, a new job and also finding a new way to work out! This week with Kellie and Mel. So, Your Hungry Now What? Even before surgery it’s hard to realize what is emotional and physical hunger. Now after surgery it’s even harder. Because right after surgery that physical hunger is removed so you must do a lot of work internally to figure out what hunger you are feeding. The traumas and stressors of life do not get removed with your stomach. Kellie and Mel discuss some ways to figure whether its physical or emotional. We also discuss how important therapy is going to play a big role and how we are both ready to big that journey.
