How to Uncover and Tell Your Conversion Story with Colin Boyd
2024/02/22
Did you know that our brains are literally wired to not only LOVE but to remember stories? Cool, huh? This collective love for stories makes storytelling one of the most POWERFUL content (and let’s be real, sales) strategies. It enables us to get our message across in a way that people want to receive it. And that’s magic. But when you tell the right story to the right people, they’re able to envision themselves in your story… And, well, that’s magic with a sprinkle of fairy dust – topped with unicorn sparkles… And it’s called your conversion story. In this episode, my very good friend, Colin Boyd, Selling From Stage Coach and Storytelling Expert, shares exactly how to leverage storytelling in presentations and sales calls to increase your conversion rates. When you listen, you’ll also learn the three elements of a great story, how to infuse teaching with selling, and Colin’s Conversion Story Framework. Click play to hear all of this and… (00:04:33) The pivotal moment in Colin’s coaching business that led to a transformation in his career. (00:07:09) Colin narrates the impact of a successful presentation on his coaching business and career. (00:08:48) The distinction between origin story and conversion story and the importance of the latter in conveying transformation. (00:14:50) How storytelling can help you influence and connect with the audience. (00:16:27) How to choose the right story to tell. (00:19:29) The three elements of a great story for audience engagement. (00:24:56) The impact of speaking on stage and running webinars when establishing authority and leadership. (00:29:04) How to effectively communicate with the audience. (00:32:03) The importance of shifting beliefs and teaching practical (but non-overwhelming) content in presentations. (00:35:50) The process of achieving results without explicitly revealing the offer. (00:38:47) How to teach and sell at the same time to create value and desire in the audience. (00:45:16) The importance of practicing presentations (in front of a mirror or camera) to connect your thoughts with spoken words. (00:52:28) The Conversion Story Formula to craft and share a conversion story within 48 hours. How to Price Your Offer to Increase Sales
2024/02/20
Have you ever wondered what makes someone choose one product over another? Well, it's not just about the price; it's about the perceived value. And as wild as this may seem, the perceived value is oftentimes associated with a higher price. Take it from someone who was in the luxury wedding photography industry… Some people would ask the price not to make sure they can afford it, but to make sure that very few people can. In this episode, you’ll learn my four-step framework for determining your price, how to increase the perceived value of your offer, and psychological strategies to get more sales. How I Rediscovered Joy as a Leader, Founder, and CEO
2024/02/15
Can I be really real with you for a moment? Podcasting was starting to feel…well, lonely. As much as I love this creative outlet and especially the opportunity to go deeper with you – I was ready to spice things up. So, I started asking myself, how might I have a podcast host without having to change the nature of my show? This single thought led my team and I to the idea of having a temporary co-host. The co-host coordinates and curates the guests and contribute to conversational questions (which takes a lot of the pressure and responsibility off of me). And y’all this was IT. praise hands Just like that, the fun/excitement/zest was back. In this episode that originally aired on the Earn Your Happy podcast with Lori Harder, we discuss the power of creating meaningful connections, staying in your zone of genius as a CEO, and the importance of aligning with fulfilling projects. Click play to hear all of this and… (00:00:42) Why I started bringing on a co-host for my podcast and the impact it has made. (00:09:03) The importance of delegating and staying in your zone of genius. (00:14:02) My insights on reframing thoughts about money and hiring team members to grow. (00:19:28) The lessons I learned through personal development. (00:23:12) My journey of rediscovering passion, purpose, and the creation of new business ideas. (00:27:25) Why I created my NEWEST offer. (00:29:07) Strategies for women in male-dominated industries and spaces. (00:31:46) How understanding your business’s data and metrics builds confidence. (00:40:33) How to build a strong network through genuinely caring and showing interest in others. (00:41:48) How to name a project/offer with simplicity and clarity. How to Avoid Self-Sabotaging Your Launch
2024/02/13
I  call it…“The Serena and Venus Williams Effect”. That feeling we get when we see someone claiming victory. We see the oh-so-prestigious-shiny trophy, but we don’t see what it symbolizes..the cold, dark, and silent work to get it. And lemme tell you, every olympic level athlete has one thing in common… they’ve had WAY more failures than championships and they kept going. And that’s what it takes for us as business owners. If you’ve launched a product or service and you didn’t get the results you wanted (no scratch that, DESERVE!) this episode is for you. Click play to hear all about… [00:00:14] The assumption I made about the 6 & 7-figure business owners who attended my mastermind (I was wrong!) [00:02:21] The conversation I had with venture-backed capitalists that led to an aha moment. [00:04:18] Three frameworks for you to NOT self-sabotage your future launch. [00:06:18] How to assess and make improvements for future launches. [00:09:53] The mindset to have around launches and how to learn and move forward from the failed ones. [00:10:40] What it takes to play at an Olympic athlete level in your field. [00:13:43] The embarrassing moment I had when attending my first mastermind (and how I met my amazing friend, Amy Porterfield). [00:18:52] How I stopped trading hours for dollars and created time freedom. [00:20:57] The experience of having to learn and do everything yourself before being able to hire help and delegate tasks. [00:22:45] How making small changes can lead to fast results. [00:23:41] Jasmine emphasizes the need to put in silent, dark, and cold work like an athlete before deserving success and holding the trophy. Register >>HERE>JOIN NOW

How to Create an UNFORGETTABLE Customer Experience
2024/02/12
I’ll NEVER forget the way they made me feel… We (JD, my business partner and husband, and I) went to Las Vegas with a 24-hour notice to meet our daughter, Luna, for the very first time. Knowing that this is undisputedly the most important **day of our entire lives, we wanted it to be an incredible experience. But the hotel that we originally booked reeked of decades-worth of cigarette smoke and dust-filled curtains… We simply couldn’t stay there… so we called the Four Seasons. AND THANK GOD WE DID… It was quite possibly the most incredible experience I’ve ever, EVER had… I’m talkin’ upgraded suits, fresh flowers, hand-written notes, bottles of prosecco… Y’all, the valet even helped us install Luna’s car seat. Just incredible. And because of this experience, we return (like clockwork) every single year. The lesson: If you want more referrals and repeat buyers, create an unforgettable experience. In this episode, you’ll learn how to create an experience that’ll increase customer loyalty and your competitive edge. I also break down the customer journey, sharing strategies for you to create impactful experiences at each phase. Click play to hear all of this and… (00:00:01) My unforgettable experience of adopting Luna in Las Vegas (and the unexpected challenges.) How to Create Content That Removes Objections and Increases Your Sales
2024/02/06
Believe me when I say that I immediately slammed my laptop shut the moment I heard him say $25,000… Several years back, James Wedmore (my now friend and mentor) was about to open cart for one of his masterminds. JD (my husband and business partner) and I were trying to guess the price before he mentioned it. “$5,000?”… “No way, $10,000?”… whatever it was, we knew it wasn’t going to be cheap. So, why did hearing him say that the price was $25,000 make me slam my computer shut? It’s because even considering paying that amount of money made my mind automatically go to feelings of fear, doubt, and uncertainty… emotions that I didn’t want to feel. But here’s the kicker, slamming my computer shut wasn’t a no. It was an objection that he addressed and handled. In this episode, you’ll learn how to address your potential customers' objections to increase sales, create content and bonuses that directly refute their fears and concerns, and understand the specific objections related to your industry. Click play to hear all of this and… (00:01:20) The importance of creating content that addresses objections and fears to increase sales and revenue. (00:02:24) The strategy of offering bonuses that refute objections when potential customers express interest in buying. (00:05:27) What objections ARE (and ARE NOT). (00:07:09) The importance of empathy when helping your potential customers overcome objections, moving them from fear to possibility. (00:08:06) How to address and overcome fear, doubt, and uncertainty in the sales process. (00:15:04) The distinction between universal fears and business-specific fears and how to address them. (00:16:40) How to use market research to know which questions and fears to address. (00:17:35) How to use questions to refute objections. (00:18:33) The importance of understanding and empathizing with customer struggles and fears. (00:19:33) How I addressed concerns about the length of my course. (00:24:55) How to reframe fears into objections to better address them. (00:26:30) The difference between universal and business-specific objections and how to reframe them in sales conversations. The Mindset to Embrace When Creating a New Offer
2024/01/16
There’s something we must do when creating a new offer. Rewire our brains to allow us to think differently. Here’s the deal: our brain wants a sense of security and safety and to do what has worked in the past (which is great for survival, but no bueno in business.) It will talk us out of experimenting with new ideas, testing different strategies, and creating something that isn’t yet proven. Ok, so how do you do this? That’s the question Blessing Richardson, one of our members on the inside of Social Curator, asked during a recent group coaching session. In this episode, you’ll hear our coaching session - and lemme tell you, it was NEXT LEVEL. If you’re in the season of creating something new, this short episode is for you! Click play now to hear all of this and… [00:01:59] Why you must shift your mindset when developing a new offer. [00:05:16] The importance of clearly identifying the target audience and understanding their specific needs and willingness to pay. [00:06:21] Why you should create different offers for different segments of your target audience and provide a tailored experience.
