God's plan for the Church includes loving the city well. In this passage God shows us how to do that.

Talking about Jesus in our lives can be challenging. In this passage, the Apostle Paul gives us several ways to help us overcome these challenges.

God has welcomed former outsiders into His family, so we who have been welcomed by God into His family through Jesus can open our lives and our homes to welcome others.

A large part of living on mission is seeing and loving the people God has already placed around you even when it interrupts your plans.

When we talk about living on mission it all starts with God. The Bible tells us God is a sending God, and He makes us a sent people.

The author of Hebrews gives us three things we must do in response to what Jesus has done for us.

We are people who know we are not ok, and who can’t fix it ourselves, no matter how hard we try. This passage in Hebrews shows us Jesus came to do what sacrifices never could.

It's easy for us to become distracted by the things of the world, fill our busy schedules, and lose sight of the most important things of life. We conclude Hebrews 9 by examining the reasons Jesus gives us to fix our eyes on Him and eagerly wait for his second coming.

In Hebrews 9:1-14, the author draws our attention to the ministry of the Tabernacle and priests and shows us how it is all a shadow pointing us to something greater, Jesus.

Welcoming, loving, and serving the international community!

God didn't fix the old covenant — he replaced it with a better one, sealed by Jesus, the better priest, promising a better relationship.

What does true humility actually look like? In this sermon, we explore how biblical humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. Drawing from the truths found in Proverbs, we see that humility is rooted in a right understanding of God and ourselves.  And most of all, we find that Proverbs point to the greatest humility found in the Gospel.  Christ humbled Himself to save sinners so that we may be transformed to right relationships with God.  This Gospel calls for us to lay down our pride at the cross to start down path of wisdom and fear of the Lord, all to have us walk humbly in joy for all of eternity.

Proverbs shows us the wise person cultivates a lifestyle of self-denial in lesser joys, so he can find greater joy in God.
