Join your witch friends for night 2 of Mystic South in Atlanta!  Scarlet and Blackbird have A LOT to tell you.  From lectures on Eastern Astrology and Numerology to rituals with vampires, so much to discuss!  Since it seems like fall is on its way or is already here for some of us, go get you something pumkin-y, something chai, or some delicious SOUP (we love soup!) and enjoy almost 2 full hours of fascinating info!

Hang on to your brooms, witches, because the ladies have a lot to discuss - and they do it on the slimmest margin of sleep ever.  Plug in and get ready for a long and entertaining romp through Day 1 of Mystic South in Atlanta, one of the premiere metaphysical conferences in the country.  Among the first day offerings were death cafes and doulas, archaeology, house spirits, USING YOUR BODY and so much more.  You might need more than one beverage for this, but Scarlet and Blackbird request that you please enjoy at your leisure!

Hello friends and witches, this week the ladies are bringing you hot moon takes (now without rays!) and many stories of witchy wildlife.  The witches are happy to share with you their rituals they both performed for the last full moon, and they are both real bangers!  Please do not swelter in the burning sun, but bask under the memory of this glorious full moon that we just had.  Your girlz hope that your rituals were just as powerful as theirs, or that you enjoyed relaxing somewhere and got to see how stunning this one was.  Pop open a can of the coldest of drinks and give a listen!

The witches are back for a catch-up episode, and Scarlet has a surprise visitor - which led to meditation, a ritual, and a whole new (under)world.  Take a break from the dreaded summer heat, and join the ladies to find out what they have been doing lately - goes well with weird ice cream flavors or lightly spiked popsicles!

This week, the witches continue creating their In-Between deck and the cards next up are both WING-ED and very much in need of a card in the middle!  Scarlet and Blackbird discuss their vision for this card and how the meaning they ascribe to it may just influence how they read the other two cards already in existence.  Grab a cool drink since it's clearly summer for real now, sit on a deck and make this little hour and change be the relaxing and thought-provoking sesh you need for the long weekend.  (A brief hello from Tasha the Potato Dog included for FREE!)

On this episode, find out what Jason Mamoa smells like!  Find out what Scarlet is harboring in her bathroom!  Speaking of harbors, that is what the episode is all about this week- the witches discuss what the card could be between the Tower and The Star.  No surprises, y'all, a lighthouse is the PERFECT symbol for where this yet-to-exist card falls.  If you are jumping from your own personal tower, the best thing you could possibly hope for is, well, hope - but before you reach the hope that the Star brings, Blackbird and Scarlet talk about what could lead you to a more gentle landing.  The lighthouse is a perfect image for leading you to safer shores.  While you sail the freeway seas on Monday, may your commute be full of magic (because you are checking out this episode!)

Well, Spring is trying it's best to Spring where Blackbird is, and it's nearly freaking summer where Scarlet is - it is the time of hockey playoffs, cleaning all your things, and perhaps starting (or finishing!) a project that's been lingering.  On this episode, Scarlet asks Blackbird about a project she has had in the works for a long time and is finally bringting to fruition - her Tarot of Sound!  Take a little peak into Blackbird's goth AF psyche as she realizes she cannot use every sad song for every card because there are also many joyful and exuberant cards for which she has had to...ahem! expand her catalog.  Scarlet helps her out with a few placements, and the witches talk about some of the music they love.  Get out that vinegar and whatever else you use to clean, put the headphones on and go to town on those baseboards!  (Kidding.  Baseboards are for stubbing your toe on, not cleaning.)  Enjoy!

The witches hope that everyone is beginning to thaw out, and are wishing everyone an Imbolc to remember!  A new beginning is around the corner, even though it doesn't feel like it for some of us - brrr, remove us from this deep freeze!  But with the celebration of the full moon, what better cards to contemplate than those that deal with the very nature of change?  Scarlet and Blackbird pose thought-provoking questions to each other and to you, dear listeners.  What could be the midpoint in between these two cards?  As has been customary in this series, the witches are loving the sharing of ideas and collaboration, and are excited to share these with you.  Enjoy and thank you for listening!

Hello Winterlings!  This episode was super fun for Scarlet and Blackbird, as they already had an idea of where this one was headed... it had to be ECLIPSE!  While the symbols and art might have been very clear for Scarlet, your witch friends had to hash out what the meaning of this card could be.  Join them with your ears and please everyone, STAY SAFE AND WARM this weekend (also, if you wanted to do some hexing of a destructive and degenerate governmental agency that shares a name with a certain water formation, no one is stopping you!!)

The witches are so excited and are on a roll (is two a roll?) with this new series!  On this episode, Scarlet and Blackbird ponder the shared aspects of two more major arcana cards - The Hanged Man and Death.  Could these shared qualities lead to the meaning of the between card, or will it be more of a vibe, a moment in time, a transition?  Join the ladies to find out where this conversation takes them.  Also, not to brag, but Scarlet gives you some red hot tips for (insert latest slang for "really great") mac & chee.  Snuggle up, grab that comfort snack/blanket/friend and listen!

On this episode, Scarlet and Blackbird feel like it's been awhile since you've been given a good series from them, so hey, they are DOING IT!  Scarlet's fever brain has come up with a glorious concoction of "what ifs" this week, and just in time for the holiday food coma you will be enjoying.  The witches discuss what a card would look like in between these two major arcana characters...a little bit of mystery, a little bit of abundance, but the possibilities are really fun to consider.  So please, wear all your new clothes so the Icelandic Christmas Monster Cat does not eat you, but also, pull up next to the fire and listen!  Hope the new year finds us all well and safe.

This is a really special episode, and we are glad to A) be back and B) share these stories and awesome little pieces of magic with you in the form of tales about Scarlet's mother, who recently passed through the veil.  Hug your people and happy holidays, everyone - make some hot cider and know that there are people out there who love you.  Enjoy this episode and learn about a truly legendary and fiercely amazing woman.  Also, watch some Pride and Prejudice!

The witches are finally back, and they want YOU to join them in commiserating on the state of the nation!  Blackbird went to Texas and got to visit Scarlet's Gingerbread House, and they had quite a lot to discuss when it comes to WTF IS GOING ON in Texas and in the country lately.  Set your broom on fire, hop on it and join them in their tirade against All Things Terrible - sometimes it takes a good rant to bring forth creative solutions!  Also, don't forget to check out Scarlet's 31 Days of Witches this year - you can find her in Instagram at @awitchinred.  And as the witches wisely advise - if you are feeling angry or down due to all the wrongness right now, DO SOME TAROT ABOUT IT and maybe take a nap!

This episode is taking you back...WAY BACK!  Scarlet takes us on a journey alllll the way back to the time of Mycenean Greece - a short linguistics lesson to get us started, and then she compares and contrasts the aspects of the religion of "old old Greece" versus what we normally think of as ancient Greece..  Learn what was the same, learn what was different!  Both are kind of surprising, with deities that you may be familiar with having different qualities than what you were taught to be their traits.  Fascinating topic and a real learning opportunity - so much to find out about everyone's favorite gateway drug into the occult!  School's back in session, y'all, take notes!

Hey there witch friends!  This week, Scarlet and Blackbird are bringing to you a smorgasbord of stories!  Included for your listening pleasure:  Blackbird's re-ignition of her passion for singing and pretending on the piano; The Perfect Hockey Jersey; Magical signs that go bump in the night that need to be heeded; Smashing Pumpkins, Ethel Cain, Making an Egyptian astral dock, AND SO MUCH MORE!  Join the witches for this grab-bag of topics - you are sure to have a good time!
