It is about the restoration of all things, especially for those in trouble who are experiencing difficulties in life. This week we studied the mercy of God. Mercy is not escaping the “punishment” religion tells us we deserve. Mercy is God clearing the way of anything that hinders our relationship with Him. Mercy is not earned and is not a suggestion that at our core we are “bad”. Mercy is God’s goodness, kindness faithfulness extended towards us. Ultimately it as an expression of God’s love for us.
