13 - The Final Judgment on the Northern Kingdom – Part 2 [B]-Amos (2026)
2026/10/29
What does Amos 8 teach about God's judgment on Israel and the consequences of rejecting His Word? In the fourth vision of Amos, the basket of summer fruit illustrates that the Northern Kingdom had become overripe for judgment and its time had run out. Despite repeated opportunities to respond to God's grace, the people continued in their idolatry, greed, and rejection of the Mosaic Law. Their dishonest business practices exploited the poor, while their desire for wealth took precedence over worshiping God. As a result, God announced the coming destruction of Israel and a famine, not of food or water, but of hearing the Word of the Lord. The coming Assyrian conquest would bring destruction, mourning, and a famine of hearing the Word of the Lord. This passage reminds us that God judges according to His righteous standards, and persistent rejection of divine revelation brings devastating spiritual consequences.

34 - Delivered from the Wrath to Come [B]-1 Thessalonians (2026)
2026/10/25
What does it mean that Jesus delivers believers from the wrath to come in 1 Thessalonians 1:10? This lesson examines the biblical evidence for the Pre-Tribulation Rapture and the promise that Church-Age believers will be rescued before the horrific judgments of the Tribulation begin. Our blessed hope is not the appearance of the Antichrist or the beginning of the Tribulation, but the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will take us to be with Him forever.

33 - Raised from the Dead [B]-1 Thessalonians (2026)
2026/10/18
What is the evidence for the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, and why is it essential to the gospel? In 1 Thessalonians 1:10, Paul identifies Jesus as the One whom God raised from the dead and for whose return believers eagerly wait. This study examines the biblical and historical evidence for Christ's resurrection, including His physical death, burial, empty tomb, and numerous eyewitness appearances. The resurrection is not a secondary doctrine but a foundational truth of the gospel, validating Christ's payment for sin and guaranteeing the believer's future resurrection. Because Christ conquered death, we can confidently anticipate His return and our eternal life with Him.

015 - Adversity for Endurance: The Sufficiency of Christ [B]-2 Corinthians (2026)
2026/10/13
Why does God allow suffering and adversity in the lives of believers? In 2 Corinthians 1:5-6, Paul teaches that suffering is not without purpose. God uses adversity to train us, develop endurance, and bring us to spiritual maturity. Just as the Lord Jesus Christ learned obedience through the things He suffered, we must learn to trust God and apply His Word in the pressures and difficulties of life. As members of the body of Christ, our suffering also serves a larger purpose. Through the comfort and encouragement we receive from the Father through Christ, God equips us to strengthen and encourage other believers as they face their own trials. 32 - Waiting for Our Blessed Hope [B]-1 Thessalonians (2026)
2026/10/11
What is the blessed hope of the believer, and why is the Rapture important to our spiritual life? In 1 Thessalonians 1:10, Paul reminds believers that we are waiting for Jesus Christ, who will deliver us from the wrath to come. A comparison of John 14:1–3 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 reveals significant parallels that support the pre-tribulation Rapture and explain why Christ's return is a source of comfort and confident expectation. This hope is not simply a future promise. It should influence our thinking, our decisions, and our priorities today, motivating us to spiritual growth and maturity as we live in light of eternity.

Hypocrite and misleader
He needs to stick strictly to scripture teaching. According to scripture, God will hold this hypocrite and powerfully misleading teacher responsible.
