This week Tommy and I get together and discuss all things Bloodround, some local news, some general wrestling events, and reminisce on the last 10+ years of Bloodround. We go through some solicited questions as well as share some of our favorite memories. Rock on!

This week Tommy and I talk about the new rule changes and what we can look forward to next season in officiating. Then we talk about Troy Nickerson getting the Head Coaching job at Army West Point, and AJ Ferrari's new home in Nebraska. Then we briefly walk through what we are looking forward to at Final X along with the Amit Elor news. Rock On!

This week Tommy and I talk about USA Wrestling and the Kyle Snyder situation and strange lack of response. We also talk through the U20 and U23 results and some of the guys who stood out. We talk through the crowded PSU lineup as well and where we expect guys to end up. We also talk about AJ Ferrari and the surprise with UNC. We finish with the delayed Final X match for Vito and Jax Forrest. Rock On!

This week we connect with Joey Blaze - NCAA Finalist and 3rd place finisher at the World Team Trials. We talk about his experiences on the big stage, his perpective going into Final X, and how cool it was wrestling in the NCAA finals. We also talk about his teammates, being a leader, and about coach Ersland and his impact. Joey proves to be wise beyond his years. Next Tommy and I talk about the upcoming Final X matches, the results from the trials, and what we can look forward to. Block off your calendars now for that Saturday, June 14th! This week Tommy and I talk with recent Central Michigan Alumni and one of my all time favorite Chippewa wrestlers, Alex Cramer. We talk through his experience starting at Old Dominion, transfering to Central Michigan, battling through adversity and knee injuries, and getting back to the lineup. We also talk through the future of the Chippewas. Then we talk through the recent news that Kyle Snyder enjoys the women of the night, and the ripple effect from the news from the weekend. We also talk about the trials this weekend, some of the exciting matches for the Men and the Women, and all the excitement to look forward to. Rock ON!

This week we talk with Brock Bergelin, CMU Wrestling alumni, and proprietor of https://3pointtakedownwrestlingapparel.com/. We talk about starting a shoe company, getting into it in the first place. We also talk through coaching wrestling in West Michigan, and we talk through the college wrestling landscape as it continues to develop. We also talk through his time at CMU, patience in a lineup, and his thoughts on a transfer portal. We also talk through some goings on in Marquette Michigan, and a theory to help Greco. Rock On!

This week we talk through Kyle Dake's career and reminisce about his exciting career and what we can look forward to from him moving forward. We also talk through the US Open results across the weights and genders. We also talk through the National Duals and some of the exciting wrestling we'll get at that event!

This week we talk with NCAA All American Trevor Chumbley of the Northwestern WIldcats. We talk through his recent finish on the podium, and then we work chronologically backwards through his career and what he learned along the way. We also talk through his plans from here with his Northwestern education and his goals moving forward. We also talk through his experiences with the coaching staffs, and each of their impacts on the program. We also establish that Trevor ran a 4.9 40 yard dash. From here Tommy and I discuss some of the Michigan transfer news, we also talk through some of the potential wrestling rule changes over the years and how there hasn't been much that's come up. We agree that taking team points for slamming headgear could leave. Great times as always, and thanks for continuing to ride with us. Rock on!

This week Tommy and I discuss the Hodge results along with the upcoming National Duals Invitational and it's qualification structure and what we expect. I express my feelings that 5 remains greater than 1, and we talk through our excitement that money continues to be invested into growing the sport with events like the National Duals. Then I have the priveledge of speaking with Mike DeAugustino. Mike was a 2x NCAA All American while with Northwestern University, and finished his final season with Michigan. We talk through his experiences, coaches, teammates, hair, handball, mafia, NIL, and all of the excitement as he transitions into coaching. Mike is awesome. Have fun and Rock On!

This week Tommy returns! We discuss the NCAA results primarily. We also discuss some of the fun commentary from DC, JB, Rock and the rest of the crew. We also talk about the AAs, some fun storylines, and our general thoughts on the entire event. I swear rather heavily in this one, so be prepared. I was excited!

This week I cover the B1Gs, and some of my takeaways from being there. The energy is different and exciting and I hope additive to the regular season. I also cover the brackets being released, my thoughts on the weights, along with where we should see some fun matches or guys to watch. I also reference how stupid it is that youth tournaments are scheduled the same weekends as the best tournaments of the season, and share some recent coaching experiences. Rock on!

This week I am joined by Ryan Holmes who covers the B1G with me at Intermat. We discuss him getting into wrestling, his college football career, and how he got into journalism. We also talk through some specific experiences and people that he values in the sport. We also talk through the B1G conference and some of the things we are looking forward to with the conference tournament this season.

This week I am joined by Austin Sommer, one of my counterparts on the Intermat podcast. We talk through some of his experiences growing up in the Lehigh Valley and with the sport of wrestling. We also talk about his college career at Drexel, and some of the things that fans might not think about with respect to balancing life and competition in college. We transition to talking about the EIWA and Ivy League conferences, and developments this past season. We finish talking about Iowa and Oklahoma State before wrapping up on the battle for the State of Michigan. Rock on!

This week I am joined by Robbie Wendell who covers the ACC for Intermat and is a part of the Intermat podcast with me. We talk all things ACC, but we start off with the Virginia Cavaliers, and the impact that guys like Steve Garland and Jim Harshaw have had on that group over the years. Additionally, we talk through the rest of the programs in the ACC and their sustained growth over the last 10+ seasons from a talent and depth perspective. Lastly we talk about some of the general goings on this season and what we are looking forward to.

This week I speak with Justin Oliver - Assistant Wrestling Coach at Northwestern University. We talk through some of his movement since we've had him on the podcast, from Buffalo to Michigan State to Northern Colorado, and eventually to Evanston Illinois to coach the Wildcats. We also talk through the team, some of the veterans who stand out along with some young guys to watch. Lastly we cover the upcoming B1G championships being hosted by Northwestern and what people can expect. Finally I recap the Chippewa Challenge and talk about the upcoming Michigan v Ohio State Dual.
