2026/10/08

We have roving reports from Moussette in Canada, Gloucester District in New South Wales, Farfalle in Italy and Dorothy Nyembe in South Africa and Johan has a chat to PSH.
Dazza serves a Better British Breakfast, the launches are back in full swing, and Christmas Planning begins.
Episode 459 - What is your Colour?

Sarah and Simon are joined by a special guest: an athlete and ultramarathon runner. There’s discussions of new milestone colours, the colour purple and why ugly Christmas shirts are in fact worn in July.
There are roving reports from Bushy, Kanata, Ottawa and Inch Beach parkruns. Pippa rounds out Streaky September for the year, Reginald quizzes us with a Who Am I? and Dazza finds the inner pirate in some of us.
This episode is full of wisdom, experience and some incredible adventures. Join us
Episode 458 - The Unicorn
2026/09/11
Saddle up listeners, this one's a uniquely long one. Lyndell and TOC discuss loads of launches and parkrun partnerships aplenty.
We have roving reports from Sale in Victoria, Mamquam Spawning Trail in Canada, and Kingsway Park, Urmston in the UK. Reginald visits Lithuania and highlights the unicorn events of parkrun found in far flung UK territories. Pippa the Streakmeister keeps us on track for Streaky September, TOC checks up on notties, and we see who's stopped by at Dazzas.
They say you can't catch a unicorn, but you might just find one at parkrun…
Episode 457 - Legs Eleven
2026/08/27
Are you ready to call bingo from the roof tops? This episode Sarah and Simon aim to get you back on the straight and narrow and into a routine. They talk about pain, streaking and the number 168.
Pippa, the Streakmeister pops in and Dazza’s is busier than ever. Reginald educates us about two European Countries, one without a current parkrun flag.
There are roving reports from Mandeville, Richmond Olympic, Irchester County and Spanish Banks Beach parkruns.
While one listener sets out for a record, another record has been stopped in its tracks. Are you ready to get streaking?
Episode 456 - The hype team
2026/08/14
TOC and Lyndell put the call out for audience participation, with Streaky September just around the corner and the Nottie on the decline.
Dazza is as popular as ever, with lots of interest in pies and cats and Reginald has us guessing again.
We have roving reports from Motueka Beach Reserve, Town Beach and Ambleside. There's plenty of ways to get involved with the adventurers. Are you ready?
Episode 455 - Tantrums, Tears and Tribulations
2026/07/30
This pod, Simon and Sarah bring you news of a new parkrun country. Exciting times!
Sarah interviews Steve Howe at Long Point parkrun, and Simon shares about his latest Gold Coast race and volunteering.
This episode gets a little ‘ugly’ and we will answer the question, who exactly is The Hunting Lady?
There are roving reports from Chipping Norton, Warkworth Showgrounds and The Ponds parkrun.
And Reginald shares their knowledge about ambassadors, while Lyndell rounds out the episode…
Episode 454 - Old and New
2026/07/17
TOC and Lyndell have plenty of news, but no emails! An important envelope gets lost on level two, we salute our senior parkrunners, and Johan meets the oldest creature on earth at the newest parkrun in the world. We have roving reports from Plantation Forest, Opaheke, and Jells parkruns, and then we ‘hop’ and ‘dip’ over to Dazza’s. Oh, and, no big deal, but we also find out the location of palm 27…
Episode 453 - Half Way There
2026/07/03
Sarah and Simon have filled this episode with news, chills and a palm27 announcement… already? You read it right! Also, you’ll hear Reginald discuss all things about the Netherlands, we celebrate a former pod host, and hear why Simon decides winter isn’t the time of year to get cheeky. There are roving reports from Toyen parkrun, parkrun Zamek w Malborku as well as Oosterhout parkrun. Ever wondered if the Adventurers like pineapple on their pizzas? Even if you haven’t, you will hear all about it on this pod. Warning: It may make you hungry.
episode 452 - The Away Game
2026/06/18
Lyndell makes herself at home while everyone else is travelling. TOC visits all the away courses. We hear from Urayasushi Sogo Koen in Japan, Billdalsparken in Sweden and Greenheart Robina Parklands in Queensland. New merch is announced, Sandgate gets fast, and Taman Pudu Ulu returns.
Episode 451 - Let those pies fly high
2026/06/04
Sarah and Simon are back, back again!
Sarah discusses all things Japan, while Simon dreams of venturing back there. They share some important news and encourage audience participation, while Reginald asks us all to join in on a guessing game.
There’s discussion about new milestones, achievements and a plethora of launches.
Our roving reporters check in from Heijo Kyuseki Rishiki Koen, West Coast Fossil Park and Pokkinen parkruns.
And get excited, because we’ve got lots of new Adventurers merch on the way.
Episode 450 - Celebrations and pronunciations
2026/05/22
The podcast celebrates an unofficial milestone of 450 episodes, with Lyndell welcoming special guest host Johan Duvenhage.
There were adventurers aplenty at special days in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, and the hangover from Japan's special day means there are plenty of imperfect pronunciations to please - or punish - your ears.
Reginald profiles Japan, but their pronunciation hack is too late to save Lyndell. We have roving reports from Sunshine Beach and Futakotamagawa and Mansfield Botanic parkruns.
Episode 449 - Is it your first time?
2026/05/08
Technical issues aplenty but the resilience and buoyancy of the dynamic team puts out another whiz bang episode. Grab your cape and superpowers as Lyndell and Simon take you all over the world in under an hour. Reginald focuses on a country with only one parkrun, and the roving reporters sound familiar, checking in from University of Galway and Jubilee Tenterfield parkruns. Johan gets another scoop too. We celebrate listener achievements and milestones at Dazzas, and marvel at all the first timers at launches. Plenty of stats from special days and we say goodbye to a legend.
Episode 448 - Surrounded by clowns
2026/04/24
Grab your big red shoes, baggy pants and colourful top hat. TOC is packing his bag of tricks and Lyndell is juggling a life outside of parkrun. Reginald takes a giant magnifying glass to the Running Achievements app, and the roving reporters have bundled into the clown car, headed for Parklakes Wetlands and East Holmes Field parkruns. We celebrate listener achievements and milestones at Dazzas, and pull an endless string of launches out of our sleeves.
Episode 447 - You raise me up
2026/04/09
Wait… it can’t be… barkrun? Selfscanning? A new mascot? New volunteer roles? Don’t be fooled! Simon shares his recent adventures, while Sarah prepares to take flight. Reginald drops in to share all things Wilson, while we hear reports from Lost Lagoon, Edithburgh and Vingis parkruns. Would you believe that Easter egg wrappers have been left all through the office and the email box is full? There’s no complaints here!
Episode 446 - Show us your weed
2026/03/25
Did we get your attention? Good! We’ve also got the Big Cheese and a swathe of roving reports from the UK (Queens parkrun in Glasgow and Flint Castle in Wales) to Poland (Zalew Łęg) and back home, with Gayndah River Walk ( in Queensland). There’s all the usuals too with Reginald and a rhyming Dazzas to enjoy. Who is the Big Cheese you say? Why it’s Tim Oberg of course! Bringing us a RAD review of his latest pursuit.
