Jerry Garcia's unique "Alligator Strat" holds legend status in Grateful Dead lore - and is arguably one of the first heavily modded Strat's to grace the stage of a high profile band. Matt Bruck started working as Eddie Van Halen’s guitar tech in 1990, and was Eddie’s business partner at the inception of EVH Gear in 2004. After Eddie’s untimely passing in 2020 it was announced that Matt and Wolfgang Van Halen would be running the company, continuing its legacy and looking to the future. Matt joins us to talk about the launch of the long awaited SA126 - Wolfgang’s own model. The guitar holds a special place in the EVH Gear lineup being the first from-the-ground-up design in some time and is a unique blend of vintage and modern themes.
