Kingdom Community | Shawn Mandoli
2026/09/27
Kingdom Community challenges us to see how the supremacy of Christ transforms the way we relate to people who are different from us. Through Colossians 4 and the story of Onesimus and Philemon, we discover that the gospel calls us beyond our comfort zones, affinities, and cultural boundaries into a Kingdom Community where we don’t choose who sits at the table. The Lord’s Table has assigned seating—and following Jesus means making room for others, pursuing reconciliation, and allowing our theology to move from our heads and hearts into the way we actually live. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Sermon Notes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zJbTcVCMvQuE29XjNtzvC99BKlaAxJsv/view?usp=drive_link **Financial Stewardship 101: Stewarding Finances Well Can Be Life Changing** What if financial freedom isn't about having more money, but becoming faithful with what God has already entrusted to you? In this message, we explore a biblical approach to money: **earn faithfully, spend intentionally, save consistently, invest wisely, and give generously.** We’ll look at how debt can steal from our future, why contentment and delayed gratification matter, and why saving and investing are acts of wise stewardship. Because wealth isn't simply what you make—**wealth is what you don't spend.** Every season won't look like today. **When you're in your summer, prepare for your winter.** ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 13 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/09/13
Unrivaled: Part 13 closes our journey through Colossians with a powerful reminder that following Jesus was never meant to be lived in isolation. Paul’s final greetings reveal a diverse community of believers who knew one another, served one another, prayed for one another, and carried one another through both triumph and hardship. From vulnerability and accountability to spiritual encouragement and stepping beyond our familiar circles, we discover that when Christ is truly preeminent in our lives, He draws us into a meaningful community—where we are known, challenged, strengthened, and encouraged to fulfill the purposes God has placed on our lives. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 12 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/09/06
In Part 12 of UnRivaled, we explore Colossians 4:5-6 and the importance of tending to what is happening inside of us. Paul calls us to walk in wisdom, redeem our time, and allow our words to be filled with grace—but Jesus reminds us that what comes out of our mouths ultimately reveals what is happening in our hearts. Through the picture of the thorny soil, we discover that spiritual fruitfulness isn't just about receiving God's Word; it's about faithfully removing the things that compete with it. People may influence us, hurt us, and create difficult circumstances, but we are responsible for tending the “thorns” that grow within our own hearts. New scenery won't give us a new heart—only the transforming work of God can do that. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 11 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/08/30
In Part 11 of UnRivaled, we explore Colossians 4:2-4 and discover what it means to keep moving forward with Jesus, even after disappointment, failure, or spiritual setbacks. Paul calls us to continue earnestly in prayer, remain spiritually vigilant, and cultivate a life of thanksgiving—not simply for what God does, but for who God is. Through the picture of a basketball coach calling “Next Play!”, we’re reminded that grace doesn’t leave us stuck in yesterday; it gets us back in the game and keeps us moving in the direction of Jesus. We also look at Paul’s powerful request for prayer that God would open doors for the Gospel, reminding us that our greatest opportunities are divinely orchestrated and that some things only God can do. Take a nap, get back up, and continue on with Jesus—there’s still a next play. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 10 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/08/23
In Part 10 of UnRivaled, we explore what happens when the Kingdom of God permeates every area of our lives—not just our spiritual lives, but our work, relationships, decisions, and everyday routines. Through Jesus’ picture of leaven in Luke 13 and Paul’s teaching in Colossians 3–4, we discover that God’s work in us is often quiet and gradual, yet relentless, transforming us from the inside out. Paul challenges us to see our work as worship, reject compartmentalized Christianity, and allow Christ’s lordship to shape how we treat people and conduct ourselves in the marketplace. The call is simple but challenging: withhold nothing from God, follow Him fully, and let His Kingdom transform every part of your life. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? How Then Shall We Live? | Pastor Samuel P. Goodman
2026/08/16
In this message, Pastor Samuel Goodman challenges us to consider the question, “How Then Shall We Live?” Drawing from 2 Peter 1:12–15, he reminds us of the power of being continually grounded in truth and points us toward three essential foundations for living faithfully: faith, trusting God, and the Word of God. In a time when our world is constantly changing, we are called to live by faith, trust in God’s faithfulness, and build our lives on His Word—the foundation and manual for how we live. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 9 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/08/09
In Part 9 of UnRivaled, we explore Colossians 3:12-21 and what it looks like to live out our new identity in Christ through the way we treat the people around us. Paul reminds us that who we are in Christ should directly inform how we behave, calling us to compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, forgiveness, and above all, love—the bond that holds the body of Christ together. We also discover the powerful invitation to “let” God's peace rule in our hearts and His Word dwell richly within us, recognizing that while we cannot manufacture spiritual transformation, we can choose to yield control to God. Finally, Paul brings the gospel into the home, challenging husbands, wives, parents, and children to make their relationships a living expression of Christ's lordship. Because at home is where it matters most—if Christ is truly Lord of our lives, His presence should be most evident in the way we love, serve, forgive, and treat the people closest to us. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 8 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/08/02
In Part 8 of UnRivaled, we begin our journey through Colossians 3 and discover what it truly means to live from our new identity in Christ. Paul challenges us to set our minds on the realities of heaven, put to death the sinful patterns of our old life, and intentionally put on the character of Jesus, reminding us that spiritual transformation is fueled by God's grace and empowered through our daily surrender. Together we'll explore how to starve the sinful nature, cultivate Christlike character, and embrace the ongoing process of becoming more like Jesus, so that every thought, word, relationship, and action reflects the One whose image we now bear. This episode is a call to stop being defined by who we were and start living as the new creation Christ has already made us to be. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 7 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/07/26
In Part 7 of UnRivaled, we continue through Colossians 2:18-23 and explore the danger of losing the reward of an authentic life in Christ by becoming entangled in man-made religion, counterfeit spirituality, and religious rules that appear wise but have no power to transform the heart. Paul warns us that anything that eclipses Christ—whether mystical experiences, self-denial, human philosophy, or spiritual systems built on human wisdom—can quietly lead us away from the One who alone gives life and growth to His people. We discover that true spiritual growth happens one way: by abiding in Christ. Like branches connected to the vine, we are nourished by remaining in continual communion with Jesus—not by performing for God, but by resting in who He is and what He has already done. This episode is a call to reject spiritual mixtures, refuse counterfeit religion, remain connected to Christ the Head, and discover that lasting transformation comes not from trying harder, but from abiding deeper. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 6 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/07/19
In Part 6 of Unrivaled, we explore the radical nature of salvation and the complete sufficiency of the cross. Through Colossians 2:11-17, Paul reveals that salvation is not simply self-improvement or religious behavior modification—it is a divine incision, where Christ cuts away the dominion of our sinful nature and raises us to new life. We discover that the cross has canceled the record of our debt, forgiven our sins, and publicly defeated every spiritual power that stood against us. But Paul also warns us not to return to religious shadows or allow external practices to become the measure of our righteousness. Whether it is traditions, preferences, spiritual disciplines, or religious observances, none of them can rival the finished work of Jesus. This episode asks a searching question: Are the things we practice helping us see Jesus more clearly—or have they quietly become substitutes for Jesus Himself? ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 5 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/07/12
In Part 5 of UnRivaled, we begin our verse-by-verse journey through Colossians 2 and discover Paul's passionate call to remain deeply rooted in Jesus Christ. In a culture filled with competing philosophies, religious traditions, and spiritual counterfeits, Paul reminds believers that true spiritual maturity isn't found by adding something to Jesus—it comes by growing deeper in Him. We explore the two most important priorities of the Christian life: having a strong faith in Christ and living in a way that faithfully represents Him. Along the way, we examine the danger of deception, the importance of becoming lifelong students of Christ, and why spiritual growth naturally produces gratitude. Most importantly, we celebrate the incredible truth that because the fullness of God dwells in Christ, we are already complete in Him. This episode is a timely reminder to reject cultural substitutes, stand firm in biblical truth, and keep Jesus at the center of everything. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 4 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/07/05
In Part 4 of UnRivaled, we discover that faithfully following Jesus means remaining anchored to His Word, even when it brings opposition. Through Colossians 1:24-29, Paul reminds us that suffering is often part of staying true to Christ, but our calling never changes: our responsibility is to preach Jesus, while God alone transforms hearts. We explore the incredible truth that the mystery once hidden for generations has now been revealed—Christ in you, the hope of glory. Because of Jesus, there are no secret paths, religious barriers, or spiritual elites standing between us and God. Paul closes this section by revealing the heart of biblical ministry: there is only one message that truly transforms and matures people—Jesus Christ. This episode is a call to reject compromise, embrace the empowering presence of Christ within us, and faithfully proclaim the gospel, trusting God's power to accomplish what our efforts never could. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 3 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/06/28
In Part 3 of Unrivaled, we move from celebrating Christ's supremacy over all creation to experiencing His saving work in the lives of believers. Through Colossians 1:21-25, we unpack the radical transformation of the gospel—from being enemies of God because of sin to becoming His reconciled friends through the death of Jesus Christ. This isn't about becoming a better version of ourselves; it's about becoming entirely new. Paul reminds us that through Christ we have been made holy, blameless, and accepted before God, and he challenges us to remain grounded in the hope of the gospel without drifting toward competing voices or false promises. We also explore the reality that staying faithful to Jesus often includes suffering, as the message of the cross will always stand in contrast to the values of the world. This episode is a powerful reminder to keep coming back to Jesus, remain anchored in the gospel, and faithfully follow Christ no matter the cost. ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE? Unrivaled - Part 2 | Shawn Mandoli
2026/06/21
In Part 2 of our Colossians series, UnRivaled, we dive deeper into Paul's prayer for the believers in Colossae and discover God's desire for every follower of Jesus to experience spiritual extravagance—not settling for spiritual survival, but thriving in the fullness of Christ. Through Colossians 1:9-20, we explore what it means to be filled with the knowledge of God's will, strengthened by His power, fruitful in every good work, and confident in our identity as those redeemed, forgiven, and qualified by grace. In a culture that pressured believers to compromise and blend their faith with competing spiritual influences, Paul reminds the church to never compromise who they are in Christ. The message culminates in one of the most powerful descriptions of Jesus in all of Scripture: He is the image of the invisible God, Creator of all things, Head of the Church, and the One who holds unrivaled priority over everything. This episode challenges us to ask a crucial question: Does Jesus truly have unrivaled priority in our lives, or is there a gap between what we believe and how we live? ______________________________________________________________________________________ NEW HERE?
