Geek LIfe Crisis: Steins;Gate Edition GLC - Season 4: Episode 7 "DK Pepper & Prangles" The gang decide to send the winning lotto numbers to themselves in the past, and all they really get out of it is some DK Pepper and Prangles. Okabe communicates with John Titor. He thinks Okabe can be the savior of the timeline since he remembers details before and after he makes changes to the past. Ummm... other stuff happened. I'm proud of this episode. It's well edited, funny, and we really touch on what's important as Steins;Gate ramps up.  At this point I am making this for myself, not many assistants left. If you're out there, find me on Instagram: geeklifecrisis. I am sure that down the line, as I'm releasing episodes 20-24 there will be an announcement of a major Steins;Gate movie, and this podcast will the definitive anime primer. Thanks for reading this! El Psy Congroo! -Steve

Geek Life Crisis; Steins;Gate Edition GLC - Season 3: Episode 6 "It's Been 5 Days" Okabe and his Round Table club come up with the name "D-Mail" because of a famous time-traveling car that famously blazed this trail in the Twin Pines Mall parking lot. Shining Finger texts her way into the group. Daru is a perv. Amane is mysterious about beef bowls. Mr Braun is pretty chill when he's not huge and imposing. Mayuri picks up the tab, she's probably the only one with a real job. Okabe has a trippy jelly-man experience. Remember to mark this day! tick tock tick tock We celebrate "Batman Day". Thanks if you are reading this! We will one day be the top Steins;Gate review podcast. The others will all bow to us! Mwaahhahahahahhaaa! Steve Chuck [email protected]

Geek Life Crisis: Steins;Gate Edition GLC - Season 3: Episode 5 "Starmine Rendezvous?"   Our ep is the same name as the actual episode but with a question mark because I have no idea what this title means with the context of the episode. Anyway, I will get all 24 episodes out! Then Chuck and I take on Steins;Gate Zero! Nice to release these episodes from a simpler time before becoming a dad. I smile when I hear my dogs barking in the background. They both have passed since recording these episodes. Miss them!

I still expect to someday edit and release all episodes, but for my own fun I have decided to release just the 60-second summaries from each episode. Here is the 60-sec summary for episode 4. (1-3 can be found in the prior episodes - along with full ep review.) I hope some Steins;Gate fan somewhere enjoys this! Have a great day! El Psy Congroo! Steve (SteeBar)

Geek Life Crisis: Steins;Gate Edition GLC - Season 3: Episode 2; title: "Hoboing Coma" Steins;Gate episode 2: "Time Travel Paranoia" ---------------------------------------------------------- Hello anime fans! Hello Steins;Gate fans! Hello GLC listeners! No longer will we call you prisoners. You have graduated to Assistants! Definitely a step up. This is somehow season 3 of GLC; and in these 24 episodes we review each episode of a popular anime titled: Steins;Gate. If you've never watched anime, never heard of Steins;Gate, that's fine, neither had GLC cohost, GeekLifeChuck. My goal with this season is to convince Chuck that anime is entertainment worthy of our scrutiny. And make it fun to listen to. Why Steins;Gate? It's is my favorite anime. It's a fun, time-travel, science fiction adventure. It can be silly, but in the end it's an anime with a lot of heart. The main character reminds me of myself back in the day; king nerd, goofy, kind of annoying; and lucky to be surrounded by great friends.  It will be fun to see/hear Chuck experience the anime learning-curve as I did. Japanese anime culture and terminology; things like: otaku, tsendere, hentai, "Nani???", maid cafes, fan-service, and... is Dr. Pepper the only soda in Japan?? PLEASE SUPPORT OUR SHOW! Hello Friends, Happy New Year!  Chuck and I are happy to podcast once again. Who would have thought, t'was Aquaman that brought us back together!  In this episode Chuck and I chat, catch up on lost time, and eventually move on to review and potato-rate (1-10) the DC blockbuster "Aquaman".  Luckily I remembered how to do all this podcasting stuff! Let us know if you enjoy the ep.  We'd love to hear from you. Take care brush your hair! www.geeklifecrisis.com On Instagram: geeklifecrisis  geeklifechuck geeklifesteve On Twitter: geeklifesteve geeklifechuck Find us on Patreon, Facebook, and please leave a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts?  That'd be a nice way to start off the year. Episode 50 - Interview with Anisah Jabar, The Importance of Ms. Marvel  "Diversity in Comic Books" Hello GLC prisoners! In this episode, we are happy to introduce you to Anisah Jabar. She's a writer, actress, producer, and up and coming cosplayer that you need to get to know. She has a growing social media presence and now a youtube movie short we think is great.  It's titled "MsMarvel: No Normal".  It's about the beginnings of Kamala Kahn, a Muslim-American girl from New Jersey that eventually becomes Ms. Marvel. Chuck and I look forward to her future movies, based on how great the first one is. In this podcast episode we talk with Anisah about the importance of diversity in comics, empowering women, tolerance and acceptance, and being true to yourself. Please subscribe to: Anisah Jabar, Ms. Marvel NYC, on You-Tube. Here is the link to Anisah's YouTube movie short: Ms. Marvel: No Normal (Anisah Jabar) This is the link to the Ms. Marvel CBS News story Anisah helped produce: CBS YouTube: Meet Ms. Marvel You can find Anisah on Instagram: @msmarvelnyc Or on Twitter: @AnisahJabar Her friend Lauren cosplays as well, Instagram: @projectkr_ We had a great time talking with Anisah and look forward to following her as she shoots for the stars and achieves her dreams.  Best of luck Anisah! I hope you all enjoy our 50th episode! Your buddy,  @GeekLifeSteve @GeekLifeChuck Please follow our wonderful announcer, Ashley from Kentucky: @Ashe976 Thank you to our Patrons!

Episode 49 "Avengers: Infinity War - Spoilers" "Should T'challa Supply Vibranium Armor to his Warriors?" Chuck and I review the newest Avengers movie, and give our potato rating. There's some funny bits, so even if you think you know everything about Infinity War, you'll still LOL, maybe even ROFL, or SYP, but... then put those pants in a washing machine. There's an enjoyable piece about Thanos' comic book history, produced by MissGeek89 (please find and follow her on instagram). Ashle976, as always, deftly handles our outro (find her on instagram as well), which is followed by a brief song I wrote about Thanos. Thank you prisoners for listening!  Please keep in touch as possible.  Any support goes a long way. You can find us on all the interwebs; twitter, Facebook, instagram, etc. Rate GLC at Apple Podcasts. That helps our show's visability, and helps other people become future GLC prisoners. Episode 48 "RIP Winchester and The Hawk" Chuck and I talk geek talk, and the topic of a "Hall Pass List" comes up.  You know that list when two married people agree on 5 celebrities it would be okay to lay with in a biblical way, and you cannot catch flack for it.   We talk Hulk and Green Lantern and Tom Cruise, and shake weights come up again.   There's a promo for a great new unique podcast app called "Spoke - The Social Audio App".   Spoke's content curators will match you up with your next favorite app.  Also, keep an eye out for the micro pod  "Biscuits and Gaming" - helping gamers to plan party nights.  What food goes with Settlers of Catan?  What wine goes with Lord Of The Rings RISK?   Then we mourn and roast the passing of David Ogden Stiers (Winchester on MASH, Timisun on Star Trek: The Next Generation) and Stephen Hawking (the smartest man in the world, "wheel chair guy"). Also, there was a winner to our GLC Oscar Pool!  It was "the_nerdy_dude" - listen to his acceptance speech at the end of this episode.  Then go follow him on Instagram. That's all for this episode!  Please let us know that you like the show.  Track us down on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and beyond. Thanks for being part of our show!  YOU ARE APPRECIATED! Your buddy, Steve  [email protected] @geeklifesteve @geeklifechuck @the_nerdy_dude (on instagram) Thanks to Ashley from Kentucky @ashe976 (find her on instagram too!)  Always love hearing her voice at the end of our episodes Thanks to all our patrons!   LLAP

Episode 47 - "Interview with Ben Kreger, co-creator of The Black Suit of Death", an independent comic book that we love.  Ben and his buddy Ed Ellsworth created The BSoD many years ago, and now their hip deep in severed heads.  Not real ones, but heads drawn with nearly a 3-D accuracy (by phenom Dexter Wee) in the newest issue of this comic; issue #2. This issue is being released first to those that backed it in Kickstarter (That would be me. You can again find my name in the comic on  BSoD's "Worthy List", so I'm keeping my head thank you).   Ben, Ed, and Dexter shared issue 2 with Chuck and I before anyone else so we could do this interview.  BUT the main reason we'r doing the interview?  The Kickstarter has begun for ISSUE 3 of BSoD.  Go to Kickstarter now and pledge to this creative project.   There have been 3 issues so far: The first one is like an issue #0, called "The Ides of March" Then there is Issue #1.  We interviewed Ben about that issue back in October 2016.  Go check it out, I re-listened, and actually thought we were funny. Issue 2 - is BSoD in action, the suit is switched to 11 and the scythe is cutting like a deli slicer. Issue 3 is in campaign mode, go to Kickstarter to find out more. Or go to fund.blacksuitofdeath.com and follow the easy steps to become cool like me. Gotta run!  Sorry for the quickly written notes here.  I'm going out to get ramen with Celeste right now.  I have a life, people! Your buddy, Geek Life Steve

Episode 46 - "Black Panther - Spoiled Yamojis" We breakdown this great movie with more detail and give our official potato rating.  We hear from Ashley from Kentucky, and also Chuck's son, Griffin gives Black Panther a rating.  He gives yams, because they're from Africa, you see. We have some laughs, and I hope you enjoy.  Please give us a rating at Apple I-Tunes. We are not accepting thoughts or prayers this month.  Sorry.  :( Blazing Saddles reference in there, and ummm... I forget. Dammit I meant to put an Ishtar reference in there, but I forgot.  Oh well, you're spared from that.  I'm fried.  I always type this stuff up when I'm half asleep.  Black Panther was great.  So was "Get Out"  I just bought it on Amazon.  Stay after the credits for a couple of silly things. Thank you prisoners!   Stay warm, or cool, or wet, like in a heated pool, or a hot tub.  Take care, brush your hair. No one reads these right? Fax me something!  212-858-5751 Peace!  LLAP! Your buddy, Steve www.geeklifecrisis.com @geeklifesteve @geeklifecrisis @geeklifechuck #Punkboy #yamoji

Mini Promo Episode - #45 - OSCAR POOL T-SHIRT CONTEST! Hello friends and listeners! If you love movies like we do then you love the Oscars. The BAFTA award show is nice, the Golden Globes fun, and the Razzies award show quite refined; but the Academy Awards is movie award nirvana. You know it, we know it, Abe Vigoda knew it. Chuck and I know our Oscar winners and losers, and love Oscar us some trivia. Right David Niven streaker?  We thought it would be fun to invite you to join us in an Oscar pool, let the competition play out on twitter, and we'll give a GLC T-Shirt to the person who guesses the most Oscar winners of the night.  Also, we'll announce your twitter handle on our show, or your IG account, and promote whatever you got going on.   Again, you can win any one of the Geek Life Crisis T-shirts available right now at Teespring.com (your choice), you'll get some free promotion on our show, we'll talk you up like your King T'Challa. Hey everyone! Just a quick episode where Chuck and I talk "Black Panther" with no spoilers.  Also included is an interview with Bob from Royal Collectibles (my local comic shop here in Queens).  They have a large Facebook group, and used the power of SOCIAL MEDIA to invite everyone out with them to see Black Panther on opening night. So, I wanted to talk with Bob about the movie and their night out.  Also, thank you to Diane at Royal Collectibles for the special introduction.  If you're in Queens, or nearby, it's worth a trip to Royal Collectibles. They have everything a comic geek could want. Thank you to new Patron the_nerdy_dude (on instagram). Also to yetiatlarge (on twitter), and Scott Parkin who is selling some sweet USS Callister t-shirts on instagram.  (His daughter did the amazing art.) Enjoy!  Take care, brush your hair!
