Week 8 2026 College Football Picks for 15 More Games!
2026/10/21
Backup quarterbacks, big favorites, and difficult schedule spots shape 15 more College Football Week 8 matchups in 2026. Gary Segars compares the betting lines with his stats model, power ratings, injuries, efficiency numbers, and strength-of-schedule context before making every show pick.
UCLA produces the card’s largest model spread gap against Michigan State. Miami faces a Pitt team struggling after its quarterback injury, while Oregon and Illinois navigate uncertainty at the most important position. Iowa and Minnesota play for Floyd of Rosedale, and Northwestern tries to build on its win at Michigan State against Rutgers.
The Big 12 slate includes Texas Tech at Cincinnati, Baylor at Kansas, Kansas State at Arizona State, and Colorado at Oklahoma State. Duke at Virginia opens the Friday schedule, while Virginia Tech at Clemson and Syracuse at North Carolina add ACC line movement and offensive questions. Boise State heads to Washington State, Vanderbilt visits Kentucky, and North Dakota State at New Mexico supplies a late-night test of defensive numbers and quarterback depth.
Gary opens with the season’s picks record and closes with the largest model-versus-market differences. The episode separates official spread selections from total leans and explains why injuries, rest, and recent personnel changes can matter more than a season-long projection.

Week 8 2026 College Football Picks for the 10 Best Games!
2026/10/20
Texas and Alabama are trying to stop two-game slides, BYU faces a road test after beating Notre Dame, and Tennessee walks into a potential letdown at South Carolina. Gary Segars breaks down the 10 best games of College Football Week 8 in 2026, comparing the spreads and totals with his stats model, power ratings, injury notes, and strength-of-schedule adjustments.
The SEC card includes LSU at Auburn, Texas A&M at Alabama, Oklahoma at Mississippi State, Tennessee at South Carolina, and Ole Miss at Texas. Arch Manning’s turnovers, Kamario Taylor’s availability, Alabama’s run defense, and Auburn’s response to its Georgia upset all shape the discussion.
Indiana visits Michigan with a quarterback decision looming for the Wolverines, while USC heads to Wisconsin before its upcoming Ohio State matchup. The Big 12 brings BYU at UCF, Iowa State at Arizona, and Houston at Utah, with travel, rest, offensive efficiency, and unbeaten-team expectations driving the debate.
Gary reviews the season’s picks record, makes all 10 show picks, and closes with the biggest disagreements between the market, trends, and model. Several selections go against the stats model, making the explanation behind each pick especially important.

Week 7 2026 College Football Picks for 15 More Games!
2026/10/14
UCLA’s unbeaten season faces a quarterback reset, Mississippi State’s injury report complicates its trip to LSU, and Pat Fitzgerald meets his former Northwestern program. Gary Segars previews 15 more College Football Week 7 games, weighing spreads, totals, stats-model projections, power ratings, strength of schedule, and the latest information discussed in the show.
The slate includes Baylor-TCU, Virginia-SMU, Utah-Colorado, Georgia Tech-Virginia Tech, Washington-Purdue, Kentucky-Oklahoma, Wisconsin-UCLA, Arizona State-Texas Tech, Mississippi State-LSU, Northwestern-Michigan State, North Carolina-Duke, Georgia State-James Madison, Kansas-Kansas State, Cincinnati-West Virginia, and Fresno State-San Diego State.
Rivalry history, red-zone execution, turnover margins, special teams, and quarterback availability all influence the handicaps. Gary examines where the model and market disagree, why injury news can weaken a numerical edge, and when he chooses a show pick that runs against his ratings.
The episode also reviews last week’s results and the season-long records before closing with the largest model gaps, potential total angles, and the weather and injury updates to keep watching.

Week 6 2026 College Football Picks for the 10 Best Games!
2026/10/06
Ten games, ten picks. This week's Winning Cures Everything covers the 10 best games of Week 6, starting with an unbeaten Georgia-Alabama clash in Tuscaloosa where the market and the model agree on the side but the strength-of-schedule numbers tell a different story. From there it's the Red River Rivalry, where the total was beaten down from 48.5 to 39 and the model thinks that's far too low, plus USC at a struggling Penn State, Texas A&M at Missouri, and Indiana at Nebraska with Ohio State looming.
Each game gets the same treatment: market lines, power rating, opponent-adjusted stats model, trends, injuries, weather and look-ahead spots. The show also covers the biggest model gap on the board (South Carolina at Florida), a Friday night Iowa-Washington grinder, UCLA at Oregon, Ole Miss at Vanderbilt, and Houston at Kansas State. Gary wraps with a full board recap of model gaps, totals, trap games and weather, plus the season record: 68-49 ATS on his picks and 70-46 for the model, with underdog picks at 28-21. The show is presented by PrizePicks.

Public Bets Overs, Sharp Money Unders, Week 5 Steam
2026/10/02
The public is betting Week 5 overs, but the larger money is hammering unders—and the gap is showing up across the college football board. Gary breaks down the biggest line moves, the sharpest betting splits, reverse-line movement, steam worth respecting, and numbers that may have already moved too far.
James Madison’s spread against Marshall rockets from -13.5 to -19.5, Georgia State flips from an underdog to a favorite against Old Dominion, and significant moves hit UMass, Toledo, Texas State, Georgia Southern, Wyoming, Buffalo, and San Jose State. The total market tells an even louder story, with major drops for Bowling Green–Miami (OH), Western Michigan–Buffalo, UTEP–New Mexico, Temple–USF, and several other undercard games.
The game-by-game breakdown covers Liberty–Delaware, Navy–Air Force, Boston College–SMU, Syracuse–UConn, Stanford–Wake Forest, Marshall–James Madison, Arkansas–Texas A&M, Utah State–Boise State, Temple–USF, Indiana–Rutgers, and Fresno State–Washington State. Gary weighs quarterback uncertainty, travel and body-clock spots, key-number movement, underdog money, totals, and where the market may be sending a warning.
The episode also examines Texas State’s move against San Diego State amid injuries and a reported mumps outbreak, the week’s biggest long-shot moneyline bets, the best undercard viewing windows, and why shopping for the best available line matters. Week 5’s central question is simple: will public overs cash, or will the sharper under money control the weekend?

Week 5 College Football Picks for 15 More Games!
2026/09/30
Fifteen more Week 5 college football games get a complete numbers-based breakdown, beginning with Vanderbilt at Georgia and ending with Oregon State at Colorado State in a new Pac-12 matchup.
Michigan tries to reclaim the Little Brown Jug at Minnesota, Nebraska lays a large number against Maryland, and Michigan State visits a Wisconsin team coming off a dramatic comeback at Penn State. The Big 12 card features Baylor at Arizona State, UCF at Houston, Cincinnati at Arizona, and West Virginia at Iowa State, with several projections disagreeing sharply with the betting market.
The second half of the show covers Kentucky’s rapidly shrinking spread at South Carolina, Louisville’s bounce-back opportunity at NC State, Notre Dame visiting Bill Belichick’s North Carolina team, and Texas Tech facing Coach Prime under the lights in Boulder. Purdue at Illinois, Cal at UNLV, and Oregon State at Colorado State round out a slate filled with intriguing totals, injury questions, and live underdogs.
Gary compares market movement with his power ratings and opponent-adjusted stats model, then adds relevant ATS trends, matchup data, weather, injuries, and situational angles. All 15 games finish with an official against-the-spread pick.

Week 5 2026 College Football Picks for the 10 Best Games!
2026/09/29
Week 5’s 10 best college football games get a complete betting breakdown through market-calibrated power ratings, opponent-adjusted statistics, injuries, weather, matchup edges, and ATS trends.
Undefeated Alabama travels to undefeated Mississippi State with Georgia looming next week, while Ohio State enters Kinnick Stadium immediately after Iowa’s dramatic win at Michigan. Auburn visits Tennessee in a matchup shaped by pace, quarterback health, and red-zone execution, and unbeaten Florida tries to justify a road-favorite price against a Missouri team whose résumé may not match its ranking.
The two Friday-night games bring some of the week’s most intriguing underdog opportunities. Pitt gets points at Virginia Tech despite both models favoring the Panthers, while Northwestern hosts a Penn State team dealing with the fallout from a blown 17-point lead.
BYU’s efficient offense gets tested at TCU, USC tries to rebound against Washington, and Miami lays a massive number at Clemson after a nine-and-a-half-point line move. The show closes with Virginia favored at Florida State and a direct question: what has the Seminoles done to deserve trust in ACC play?
Gary gives an official ATS pick for all 10 games and explains where the numbers support the market, where they fight it, and where matchup context matters more than the model.

Week 4 Recap: Florida crushes Ole Miss, Big Ten Upsets, Injuries and a Best Bets recap!
2026/09/28
Week 4 delivered outright upsets, last-second heartbreak and one of the strongest betting weekends of the season.
Iowa stunned Michigan on the final snap in the Big House, Wisconsin erased a 17-point deficit to beat Penn State, and Minnesota went into Seattle and knocked off Washington. Florida exposed a massive public betting trap by hanging 52 points on Ole Miss, while Mississippi State rallied past Missouri behind another electric performance from Kamario Taylor.
Gary also breaks down Texas surviving Tennessee’s late comeback attempt, Oregon pulling away from USC after Dante Moore’s frightening injury, LSU dismantling Texas A&M and Georgia capitalizing on Oklahoma’s turnover disaster. Plus, Indiana narrowly survives Northwestern, UCF beats TCU outright and Oklahoma State produces more than 600 yards against West Virginia.
The official best-bet card finished 9-3 for a profit of 5.48 units, improving the season record to 29-10-1 on straight bets. Gary grades the strongest wagers, explains why closing-line value mattered for UConn and owns the bad reads on Troy and West Virginia.
The episode closes with the biggest injury updates and an early Week 5 look at Ohio State–Iowa, Alabama–Mississippi State, Florida–Missouri, Auburn–Tennessee and Penn State’s dangerous Friday-night trip to Northwestern.

Week 4 Sleepers, Strange Lines, Must-Watch Games
2026/09/25
Week 4’s betting board is moving fast, and some of the biggest shifts do not match the public money. Gary Segars breaks down the sharp action behind Utah–Iowa State, Missouri–Mississippi State, Oregon–USC, Wisconsin–Penn State and Oregon State–UTEP before explaining why ticket counts never tell the entire story.
A powerful Nor’easter adds another variable to the weekend, with wind and rain threatening Virginia Tech–Boston College, UCLA–Maryland, Wisconsin–Penn State and several Friday games. Then the spotlight moves to the overlooked matchups that could deliver the weekend’s best drama: Army–Temple, Navy–UAB, Tulsa–Arkansas, App State–NC State, Oregon State–UTEP, James Madison–Old Dominion, Georgia Tech–Stanford and Arizona–Washington State.
The show also digs into Tulsa’s unlikely playoff path, Arkansas’ mounting pressure, UTEP’s unusual betting split, NC State’s emotional recovery test, quarterback and injury questions, situational against-the-spread trends and several quick-hit games worth monitoring. Gary closes with five larger betting angles and a complete Friday-to-late-Saturday watch guide covering every major broadcast window. It is the Week 4 roadmap for finding the hidden value, avoiding misleading trends and knowing exactly when to grab the remote.

Week 4 2026 College Football Picks for 15 More Games!
2026/09/23
Gary breaks down 15 more Week 4 college football games against the spread after the WCE show and model both went 16-9 last week. The card begins with three consecutive home underdogs—UCF against TCU, Cincinnati against Kansas State, and Cal against Clemson—before turning into an unusual run of 12 straight favorites.
The episode covers Minnesota at Washington, UCLA at Maryland, Nebraska at Michigan State, Boise State at Western Michigan, Northwestern at Indiana, Utah at Iowa State, Colorado at Baylor, Wake Forest at Louisville, Oklahoma State at West Virginia, Notre Dame at Purdue, Illinois at Ohio State, and Virginia Tech at Boston College.
Each matchup is evaluated through model projections, power ratings, success rate, explosiveness, line play, turnover margin, red-zone performance, strength of schedule, roster talent, and situational betting trends. Key storylines include Clemson-Cal's flipped favorite, UCLA's early body-clock kickoff, DJ Lagway's status, Boise State's talent advantage, Notre Dame and Ohio State laying enormous numbers, and James Franklin's fast start at Virginia Tech. The show closes with the complete 15-game ATS card and a reminder that a handicap is not automatically an official wager.

Week 4 2026 College Football Picks for the 10 Best Games!
2026/09/22
Week 4 delivers ten major college football matchups with playoff consequences, hostile road environments, and several betting lines that look very different from the WCE model. Gary breaks down Oregon at USC, Texas A&M at LSU, Texas at Tennessee, Oklahoma at Georgia, Ole Miss at Florida, South Carolina at Alabama, Iowa at Michigan, Vanderbilt at Auburn, Wisconsin at Penn State, and Missouri at Mississippi State.
The discussion covers Oregon's early defensive issues, Lincoln Riley's opportunity at home, Lane Kiffin's first crossroads game at LSU, and Arch Manning entering a checkered Neyland Stadium against five-star freshman Faison Brandon. Gary also examines Oklahoma's elite defense and struggling offense, the first-year coaching matchup between Pete Golding and Jon Sumrall, South Carolina's desperation against a young Alabama team, and Iowa's path to making Michigan uncomfortable.
Each prediction weighs success rate, explosiveness, line play, red-zone efficiency, turnovers, strength of schedule, roster talent, model projections, power ratings, and situational betting trends. The episode finishes with the complete ten-game card against the spread and a look at why the Week 4 market may be underrating several home environments.

Week 3 Madness Reaction: Upsets, Bad Beats and Fireworks
2026/09/20
Ole Miss knocked off LSU 32–24 in Oxford, Kentucky delivered a stunning 31–21 upset at Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt turned an apparent NC State victory into one of the wildest final-play finishes—and betting swings—college football has seen in years.
Gary breaks down how Trinidad Chambliss shredded LSU for 363 passing yards before running in the go-ahead touchdown, why Ole Miss may be vulnerable at Florida after emptying the emotional tank, and how Kentucky turned a 7–0 deficit into 28 unanswered points as a 16.5-point underdog. Texas A&M’s playoff path is suddenly in serious trouble with LSU, Missouri, Alabama and Oklahoma still ahead.
Alabama also erased a 21–6 Florida State lead during a weather-disrupted 50–36 shootout. Keelon Russell accounted for four touchdowns, the Crimson Tide produced 615 yards, and five consecutive touchdown drives revealed both the excitement and volatility surrounding this young Alabama team.
Plus: Mississippi State’s furious comeback at South Carolina, Florida winning at Auburn, Houston pushing Texas Tech to the final two-point attempt, Louisville finally beating SMU, West Virginia improving to 3–0, Oklahoma’s offensive problems before Georgia, and the biggest Week 3 betting results. Across the ten biggest games, underdogs went 7–3 against the spread and overs finished 9–1.
Gary also looks ahead to Texas–Tennessee, Texas A&M–LSU, Ole Miss–Florida, Oklahoma–Georgia and the other matchups that could reshape the season in Week 4.

Fifteen More Week 3 Picks and Model Edges
2026/09/16
Gary Segars adds 15 more official picks to the 2026 college football Week 3 betting card, comparing current point spreads with model projections, coaching trends, roster talent and early-season efficiency data.
The show opens with Colorado at Northwestern in the debut of the new Ryan Field, Virginia vs West Virginia in Charlotte, Miami’s Friday-night visit to Wake Forest and Michigan State facing a massive number at Notre Dame. Gary then breaks down Arizona State vs Kansas at Wembley, Syracuse at Pitt, James Madison at San Diego State and Georgia’s rapidly growing road spread at Arkansas.
The second half covers Oklahoma’s response spot against New Mexico, Purdue’s late cross-country trip to UCLA, Stanford at Duke, UTSA at Texas following the Longhorns’ win over Ohio State, USC’s East Coast test at Rutgers, Tulane at Kansas State and BYU’s Saturday-night visit to Jim Mora’s improving Colorado State team.
Along the way, Gary explains where his model agrees with the market, where he is willing to override it, why several uncomfortable underdogs make the card and which favorites have the matchup profile to separate. The episode also updates the season record: 25–18 on official show picks and 26–17 for the model entering these Week 3 selections.
