Week 5: Uncommon Courage
2026/10/11
What does it mean to overcome evil with good? In this final message of our Uncommon Life series through Romans 12, we explore Romans 12:21 and the uncommon courage it takes to respond to hurt, betrayal, and injustice in a way that honors God.
When others hurt us, the temptation is to retaliate, hold on to bitterness, or let yesterday’s pain shape who we become. But God calls us to something different: to confront evil without becoming like it. Through the transforming power of Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit, we can learn to love our enemies, pursue what is good, and trust God with justice and the outcome. Forgiveness doesn't mean excusing wrongdoing or returning to an unsafe situation. It means releasing our hurt to God and allowing Him to shape our response.
Jesus is our ultimate example of overcoming evil with good. Through His death and resurrection, He defeated the power of evil and gives us hope that evil will not have the final word.
Compassion: Love that Changes Lives
2026/10/04
What does biblical compassion look like? In this message, we’re reminded that God’s compassion toward us through Jesus is the foundation for how we should love and serve others.
Jesus’ compassion hears the cry, sees the need, feels the pain, and responds in loving action. As followers of Jesus, we are invited to let His compassion flow through us—not simply feeling sympathy for those around us, but taking action to meet needs and point people to the hope of the Gospel.
You may not be able to change the whole world, but you can help change one life. And God can use one life to impact many more.
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40
Week 4: Uncommon Unity
2026/09/27
Division can quietly destroy our relationships, our joy, and even the unity and mission of the church. In this message from the Uncommon series, we look at what causes division and what it means to respond in an uncommon, Christ-centered way.
Drawing from Romans 12, we’re challenged to move beyond selfishness, comparison, unmet expectations, assumptions, personal preferences, and conflict avoidance. Instead, followers of Jesus are called to bless those who hurt us, pursue peace, rejoice with others, mourn with those who mourn, and take responsibility for our part in reconciliation.
True unity doesn’t begin with people—it begins with Jesus. And we can live this way not through our own strength, but through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Week 3: Uncommon Love
2026/09/20
What does it look like to live with uncommon love? In Romans 12:9–13, we see Paul’s call for the church to be marked by sincere love, deep devotion, humility, spiritual passion, faithfulness, generosity, and hospitality.
In a world filled with division and differences, the church is called to be a people who cling to what is good, honor one another, and live on mission together. This message challenges us to move beyond comfortable Christianity and become people marked by genuine community, active faith, and a willingness to invite others into our lives.
As followers of Jesus, we are not called to live from a place of scarcity or fear, but as people who have been sent with the good news of Jesus.
Week 2: Uncommon Identity
2026/09/13
What defines your identity? In a world that often tells us to find our worth in success, relationships, accomplishments, or comparison, Romans 12 points us to a different way.
In this message, we explore what it means to live with an uncommon identity—one that is rooted in Jesus Christ, shaped by humility, connected to the body of Christ, and expressed through serving others. Rather than competing or trying to prove our worth, we can confidently use what God has given us to build up His church and bless those around us.
“You are Christ’s.” When our identity is secure in Him, we are free to stop living for ourselves and start living for Jesus and others.
Week 1: Uncommon Surrender
2026/09/06
What does it really mean to surrender your life to Jesus?
In this message from the Uncommon series, we look at Romans 12:1–2 and what it means to become a “living sacrifice.” True transformation begins when we stop avoiding the broken and difficult areas of our lives and surrender them fully to God.
Through a powerful personal testimony, this message explores forgiveness, repentance, renewing our minds, overcoming shame and pride, and allowing Christ to transform us from the inside out. An uncommon relationship with Jesus requires uncommon surrender—and when we surrender to God’s will, He begins to transform the way we think, live, and relate to others.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2
Discover what it looks like to surrender, be transformed, and live an uncommon life for Jesus.
Week 3: Help: God’s Faithfulness in Every Step
2026/08/23
In Psalm 121, we’re reminded that no matter where we are in life—whether in seasons of blessing, hardship, or uncertainty—the Lord is watching over us. Our help doesn’t come from what we have or what surrounds us, but from the God who made heaven and earth.
As we look at the highs, lows, and tomorrows of life, we can trust that God is present, sustaining us and keeping us. Because of Jesus, we have the hope of knowing that God is with us now and will ultimately bring us home to Him.
“The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” — Psalm 121:8
Week 2 Rest: Finding Peace in a Restless World
2026/08/16
In this message from Psalm 23, we’re reminded that we can have peace in the middle of a chaotic world because Jesus is our Shepherd. Instead of living restless and overwhelmed by our circumstances, we can trust His provision, follow His direction, find restoration for our souls, and rest in His presence.
Jesus is our provider, peace, restorer, protector, guide, defender, and life giver. No matter what we face, we can rest assured in Jesus, our Lord, knowing that He is with us and has already gone ahead of us.
Week 1: Roots: Thriving in Every Season
2026/08/09
What does it really mean to live a blessed life? In this message from Psalm 1, we explore what it means to be rooted in God’s Word and planted beside the streams of living water.
A blessed life isn’t defined simply by health, finances, success, or circumstances. It begins with where we are rooted. We’re challenged to reject the wisdom and ways of the world, delight in God’s Word, meditate on it, and remain connected to Christ and His people.
When our roots are healthy, our lives produce healthy fruit—even through difficult seasons. So ask yourself: Where are you rooted? Are you spiritually dry or filled with living water? What kind of fruit is your life producing?
Stay rooted in the Word and stop rotting in the world.
Week 4: The Struggle of Complacency
2026/08/02
How do we drift from a passionate faith without even realizing it? In this message, we conclude The Struggle Is Real series by exploring Jesus' letter to the church in Laodicea (Revelation 3:14–22). Discover why spiritual complacency is so dangerous, how it quietly pulls us away from Christ, and how Jesus lovingly calls us back into a vibrant relationship with Him.
Learn how to recognize the signs of complacency, stay anchored in God's Word, and live a faith that brings healing, refreshment, and hope to those around you.
Key Takeaway: Complacent faith plays it safe, but courageous faith stays close to Jesus and transforms lives.
Week 3: The Struggle of Greed
2026/07/26
What does it really mean to be content? In this message from Luke 12:13–21, we explore Jesus' Parable of the Rich Fool and the warning against greed, reminding us that life is not measured by our possessions but by our relationship with God.
Discover how discontentment fuels greed, why our culture constantly pushes us to want more, and how biblical contentment leads to true freedom. You'll also learn how generosity becomes an act of worship that breaks the grip of materialism and helps us trust God as our ultimate provider.
Whether you're struggling with finances, comparison, or simply chasing "the next thing," this sermon offers practical, biblical encouragement to live with open hands and a heart fully satisfied in Christ.
Week 2: The Struggle of Lust
2026/07/19
What if lust is about more than sexual temptation?
In this message from our The Struggle Is Real series, we discover that lust is any God-given desire that grows into an obsession and begins to take God's place in our hearts. Whether it's success, money, relationships, comfort, approval, or sexual sin, every one of us wrestles with misplaced desires.
Through God's Word, we learn how healthy longings can become destructive idols—and how Jesus offers redemption, healing, and freedom.
