4 Messages for when You're Stuck in the Middle
2026/10/04
Sometimes we're so focused on getting to the other side of something that we miss what God is saying to us right now. This message is about the middle of the storm, the wait, the hard season, and four things God may be telling us there:
follow your last commandbe patient and wait on the Lordkeep reaching for him when we feel unseentrust His process, because fruit takes time. We spend time with Peter in the boat, Abraham and Sarah, the woman in the crowd, and the second day of creation. The middle doesn't have to be a bad place. It's just a different message.

Every Gift Is Worth Using: The Parable of the Talents
2026/09/28
This week, during our worship service, Brandon shares a story about Rob and the twenty-some percussion instruments he brings everywhere. Rob told him the parable of the talents, which stuck with him: some were given a lot, some a little, and this is his gift, so he went all out.
We talk about how worship, our testimonies, and the people around us are all talents from the Lord. Even a short conversation, a smile, or a held door can leave a mark. We just need to listen to the Holy Spirit and let him use us.

Be Still, Know, Exalt: The Three Parts of Psalm 46:10
2026/09/28
After two weeks of sabbatical rest, Rose shares what God spoke to her through Psalm 46:10: "Be still and know that I am God."
In a season with a lot going on, she was tired and finding it hard to stop. She heard God say, "Let it go. Surrender it to me." In this message, she talks about what it means to surrender, why being still is part of it, and what it looks like to rest in Him, know Him, and lift Him up. The anxieties didn't all disappear, but it became easier because she knew where her strength was.
If you're carrying a lot right now, we hope this reminds you that He has you covered.

Planted by the Streams of Water
2026/09/28
When life feels like chaos, and we can't keep up, where do we turn? This message starts in Psalm 1, where the righteous person is a tree planted by streams of water. The Hebrew word for planted means transplanted: this tree was moved with intention to a place of constant nourishment.
We talk about what it means to be planted in Christ, why the streams are plural, how God sustains us in drought and storms (Isaiah 41), and what it looks like to stay connected to the vine and bear fruit in season (John 15).

Proximity Doesn't Equal Relationship
2026/09/20
For Homecoming Part 2, Pastor George brings us a message from Luke 15, the story of the two sons. Most of us know the one who wandered off. Pastor George asks us to look at the older son, who stayed home and kept working but never shared his father's heart. Proximity doesn't equate to relationship, and going to church doesn't make anyone part of the family. Jesus, our older brother, came looking for us, and he's still looking for those who've wandered away.

Monday Is Coming Either Way
2026/09/20
Rick reminds us at New Vision Church in Fayetteville, Georgia, that rest is biblical. God rested on the seventh day, commanded the Sabbath, and even gave the land a year of rest every seven years. Rick talks about how busy we let ourselves get, even on Sundays, until we can't worship, and about a hard season in his own life that made him stop and listen.
His encouragement is simple: don't wait for God to make you rest. Take the time, worship, and let Him restore your soul.

Fallow to Hallow: Trusting God With Everything
2026/09/06
Part two of our Fallow to Hallow series. We are taking two weeks away from gathering in person to rest, reflect, and reprioritize, and this week we ask what it looks like to trust God with everything: our time, our money, our future, not just eternity. We walk through Psalm 24, the word Selah, and the story of Mary and Martha, and talk honestly about why we resist rest in the first place.

From Fallow to Hallow: A Season to Rest, Reflect, Refocus
2026/08/30
We're taking two weeks off from meeting in person at New Vision Church — not to disappear, but to rest. We call it "fallow to hallow," a season to let our hearts lie fallow so we can come back more fruitful. In this message, we talk about why rest is so hard to actually do, what Scripture says about Sabbath, and what it means to trust God enough to stop.

Sabbath in 2026: Rest Works, Work Works, Worship While You Work
2026/08/24
You are a human being, not a human doing. This week we talk about rest, Sabbath, and why stopping is harder than it sounds. We look at Sabbath as something built into creation from the beginning, the difference between resting because God rested and resting because we're free, and what it means to pause in Selah — not just to be quiet, but to praise. Work is good, but it was never meant to be worshiped. Our rest works, our work works, and we're called to worship while we work.

Who Told You Who You Are? Understanding Our Identity in God
2026/08/17
We're often told who we are by our past, our failures, our relationships — by everyone except the One who made us. In this message from New Vision Church in Fayetteville, Georgia, we look at Exodus 3 and 34, where God reveals his own name and character to Moses, and we ask what it means to know Him before we can know ourselves.

The Rule of Thumb for the Unreached
2026/08/02
Why does missions exist? Because there are still people who don't know the name of Jesus — some in nations we can't easily reach, some living right here among us. This week we talk about being "glocal," the reality of unreached people groups, what it means to be "gospel privileged," and a simple rule of T.H.U.M.B. for praying for the nations.

The World's Three VIP Memberships
2026/07/27
Deacon Marshall Ayers joins us this week with a message on covetousness — the grasping for more that shows up in our PMS. Power, money, and sex, that is.
Starting in Matthew 14 and John 6, he asks why Jesus withdrew from the crowd instead of being crowned by force, and what that means for the platforms we chase outside of God's timing. He also shares pieces of his own story before calling us to search our hearts and bring what we find to the altar.

Dig it and Dung it: How God Changes Your Life
2026/07/20
In Luke 13, Jesus tells about a fig tree that hasn't produced fruit in three years, and a gardener who asks for one more year to dig around it and add fertilizer. This week at New Vision Church in Fayetteville, Georgia, we talked about what it looks like to let God dig into our hearts and use even the hard parts of our lives to help us grow. We also talked about discipleship as a friendship, not a program, lived out in the ordinary moments people actually see.
